We seem to be linked with 2 or 3 new players every single day, I think most likely the club will be looking for 1 more wide player, N'zogbia or Barnetta are probably 1st choice targets then another centre mid Matuidi or Sissoko? A 1st choice striker, Erding if reports are true then add to that a young up and coming striker Bangura(1 of 2) or Sturridge (unlikely as he is supposed to be on something like 80k a week). Then a pretty good clear out, Barton, Guthrie, lovenkrands etc. I think they will try hard to keep Enrique but he looks like he wants to leave, so we can expect a replacement full back, M'bengue?

I think your about right with that, although i would imagine another cheapish centre back in the same way we bought Williamson. After Sol has gone, we need some back up in that area.
If we can get a more experienced right back as well, not to replace Simpson, but to cover/teach, and add competition.

Back up after Sol has gone HA HA Just use his Zimmer frame, its movement is quicker around the pitch

Gibson from Man U nooooooooooooooooooooooo please he is terrible ask any Man U fan. Who would he be ahead of Tiote, Cabaye, marveaux, Jonas, Barton Ben Arfa or even Gosling no so he would be our 8th choice midfielder. If this rumor is true then Pardew is an person stop looking at the midfield and look at the strikers that's where the problem is. (rant over)

These are simply tabloid rumours, probably spread by the unwashed from down the road, so they can say when they sign the afore-mentioned dross players that 'we fought off interest fron Newcastle'. . . bollox, we are after better players than Gibson.

Lee Ryder hasn't got a clue what is going on, he does no journalism, and rely's on tit bits tossed at him from club statements. He is in fear of being banned from St James Park if he says anything that the current owners take a dislike to. I'd take what he says with a pinch of salt.

Today he is saying that Airey could go to Hibs on loan next season but do you think Pardew will let that happen after what he said about the SPL he licks ass and is frightened to push the boundaries.

Ji Dong-won apparently arrived on Wearside at the weekend for talks aimed at rubber-stamping his £2m move to the Stadium of Light, while Birmingham City midfielder Craig Gardner also expected to sit down for talks soon. Get your money on pardew to be the first manager sacked this season. The club is up for sale and always has been. Ashley trying to get as much money in as possible before he leaves and concentrates on selling crap sports gear. To balance the books and make the clubs finance looks attractive he will sell as many high earners as possible.

I don't understand why this would be a good thing? don't get me wrong i can't stand ashley but a dnt think its fair even if we do get new owners that they sack pardew streight away. give the bloke a chance hes done everything right so far weve bought in some fantastic players and we did well in our first season back. people need to give the bloke a break nd see what he can do next season when he came in last season he played it absolutly right nd didn't change anything. if we get new owners now or a new manager its just going to unstable the club again Patience is everything you need to give them time

What? You say Pardews done everything right so far? Why is his win ratio as low as 25% then, while Bruce is at 35%. No wonder they finished above us It was Hughton who made our season and the fat controller sacked him
