nice to see NUFC going for loads of english players

Believable4 Unbelievable0

The fact is most of the young english players are way overpriced

Agree3 Disagree1

Well I'm glad that we weren't after Henderson The bin dippers have been well and truly shafted there. . he's cack.

The only young English player i would be tempted into a big money offer would be Sturridge. He is going to be a proper player in a couple of years (if not this year).

Col

Agree7 Disagree0

Maybe Welbeck to partner Sturridge. Only other young English player I would like would be Kyle Walker but can't see spurs selling him

Agree6 Disagree1

And what English players have Sunderland bought?

Agree2 Disagree1

Westwood is english

Agree0 Disagree2

He plays for Ireland

Agree1 Disagree0

No i would spend te 20m on rodwell and add another 5m because he is worth it

We seem to be linked with 2 or 3 new players every single day, I think most likely the club will be looking for 1 more wide player, N'zogbia or Barnetta are probably 1st choice targets then another centre mid Matuidi or Sissoko? A 1st choice striker, Erding if reports are true then add to that a young up and coming striker Bangura(1 of 2) or Sturridge (unlikely as he is supposed to be on something like 80k a week). Then a pretty good clear out, Barton, Guthrie, lovenkrands etc. I think they will try hard to keep Enrique but he looks like he wants to leave, so we can expect a replacement full back, M'bengue?

What do you think?

ToonBarmy

Believable4 Unbelievable2

I think your about right with that, although i would imagine another cheapish centre back in the same way we bought Williamson. After Sol has gone, we need some back up in that area.
If we can get a more experienced right back as well, not to replace Simpson, but to cover/teach, and add competition.

Agree3 Disagree0

Back up after Sol has gone HA HA Just use his Zimmer frame, its movement is quicker around the pitch

on Wikipedia it says that Teteh Bangura is in talks with us over a 5 year contract p.s i now wikipidia is not a reliable sorce but still

Have you seen his goal to game ratio on wiki?? I'd take him, worth a gamble look what drogba done for Chelsea anyone that gets compared to him must be worth a look. Moorski mag

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Thats why i put it on get him signed AP

Gibson from Man U nooooooooooooooooooooooo please he is terrible ask any Man U fan. Who would he be ahead of Tiote, Cabaye, marveaux, Jonas, Barton Ben Arfa or even Gosling no so he would be our 8th choice midfielder. If this rumor is true then Pardew is an person stop looking at the midfield and look at the strikers that's where the problem is. (rant over)

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Has the club said that there has been a bid? Has Man U confirmed our interest? No
These are simply tabloid rumours, probably spread by the unwashed from down the road, so they can say when they sign the afore-mentioned dross players that 'we fought off interest fron Newcastle'. . . bollox, we are after better players than Gibson.

Col

Agree0 Disagree1

Yeh for example sissoko who we have been confirmed in being in talks with.

Agree0 Disagree1

It's been reported by Lee Ryder and several other reporters on twitter that the interest in Gibson is real, while it's been revealed we aren't in talks with sissoko an his agent is using our name to increase interest Although I feel Gibson isn't a fantastic player I believe he's a good player an will give him support if arrives

Agree0 Disagree0

Lee Ryder hasn't got a clue what is going on, he does no journalism, and rely's on tit bits tossed at him from club statements. He is in fear of being banned from St James Park if he says anything that the current owners take a dislike to. I'd take what he says with a pinch of salt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Today he is saying that Airey could go to Hibs on loan next season but do you think Pardew will let that happen after what he said about the SPL he licks ass and is frightened to push the boundaries.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ssn just released statement newcastle not after sissoko another case of agents trying to build up interest

Meanwhile, today could be the start of a busy week for the club as they aim to tie up loose ends on a number of transfers. Ji Dong-won apparently arrived on Wearside at the weekend for talks aimed at rubber-stamping his £2m move to the Stadium of Light, while Birmingham City midfielder Craig Gardner also expected to sit down for talks soon. Bosman signings Kieran Westwood and Seb Larsson completed their moves last week and their official unveiling will take place at the end of this week/month. The club is also hoping for progress on deals involving Connor Wickham, David Vaughan and David Ngog, who all continue contemplating their futures, while Manchester Untied trio Wes Brown, John O Shea and Darron Gibson are still considering moves to Wearside.

More transfer rumours suggest that Reading s Shane Long could be heading our way too. Some sources are suggesting Sunderland are lining up a £7m for the Reading striker, who has been heavily linked with a summer move away from the Madejski Stadium

Believable2 Unbelievable1

To be honest out of all them names Wickham and long are the only 2 i would want to see at newcastle the others are terrible and wickham is unproven at the top level and long is very hit and miss

Agree3 Disagree1

The only time you will see those players togethor on st james park is when weve beaten them 5-1

Agree4 Disagree1

Still living in the past boring sgb

Agree0 Disagree0

He is living in the past because he said about a result that happened last season yet yous are going on about the last three years.

The guys talking truth Newcastle have only been in contact with Tolouse about M'Bengue with Sissoko it's just his agent spraying s**t out to get clubs interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guys taking the mick and your as daft as him for agreeing

Agree0 Disagree0

Its reported on Goal.com that NUFC and liverpool both in the running for sissoko and that NUFC are the front runners to sign gibson as he doesn't want a move to SAFC. Same goes for oshea and brown

papers would be full of it if there was any chance of a takeover. i can't see one on being on the cards.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Twitter rubbish NO SALE ON THE CARDS. . club are pressing ahead with 3 incoming transfers this week carrs hard at work. . so far no targets have been lost. . the press don't know nothing so they just make a story up. . a lot of people on here are talking out there backsides. . . only six people in the club know whos wanted and that's the best way. . do you think the club should tell every one who there after just to hand them to liverpool and spurs to sign . .well i dont. .OLD PRO

What are your sources for this takeover?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Apparently all over twitter no smoke without fire , might me a smb spreading these rumours lol

Agree0 Disagree0

It is a makem spreading rubbish, due to fear about their up coming season. After signing players like Larsson, Gibson they need something to distract themselves with.

Get your money on pardew to be the first manager sacked this season. The club is up for sale and always has been. Ashley trying to get as much money in as possible before he leaves and concentrates on selling crap sports gear. To balance the books and make the clubs finance looks attractive he will sell as many high earners as possible.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I don't understand why this would be a good thing? don't get me wrong i can't stand ashley but a dnt think its fair even if we do get new owners that they sack pardew streight away. give the bloke a chance hes done everything right so far weve bought in some fantastic players and we did well in our first season back. people need to give the bloke a break nd see what he can do next season when he came in last season he played it absolutly right nd didn't change anything. if we get new owners now or a new manager its just going to unstable the club again Patience is everything you need to give them time

Agree5 Disagree0

Hes gonna take u down like all his other clubs

Agree1 Disagree0

What? You say Pardews done everything right so far? Why is his win ratio as low as 25% then, while Bruce is at 35%. No wonder they finished above us It was Hughton who made our season and the fat controller sacked him

Agree0 Disagree0

Your going down next season and I think some of you know it, the rest will know it when the season is over. worrying times for a screwcastle fan especially if you sell your best players

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2011 08:48:59
new owners nooooooooooooo way?????? ashley was out in dubi couple of years ago and some big company made him £400m bid and he turned it down. would be nice to have new owners, but i can't see it. and if we did get a new manager who would be get?? or should i say who would want to come to us? marty oneil?

Believable1 Unbelievable3

MA would have taken their hands off for 400 million you clown so would any other self respecting business man I was in spain a few weeks ago but i aint buying barcelona

Agree0 Disagree0

400m for Screwcastle, good joke, he couldn't even find a buyer for 100m not that long ago. someone is dreaming

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2011 04:46:23

ed, I think it's highly unlikely Qatar people have bought nufc, have you heard anything other than on here? cheers

{Ed010's Note -the last time that I read or heard anything about Newcastle and Qatari people, was around Christmas time. Nothing since I'm afraid.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

The quatari's who were talking to NUFC are the one and same who have already bought PSG. Interest over

in mexico my country is done the World Cup U-17 Souleymane Coulibaly of ivory coast, is the sensation of the tournament, has skill, power, technique and many goals.

Souleymane Coulibaly.

8 goals in 3 games (4 goals scored to Denmark, 3 to Brazil, is only 16 years, real madrid follows closely, please if anyone on this blog you can talk with scouting, let it come to mexico to watch this guy and sign.

27 Jun 2011 01:41:26
Could be some truth in takeover as his aim was to get back into prem meaning he'd prob get a bit extra for the club, not to mention sales of Carroll and Nolan there's an extra 40 mil almost anyway, hope he does want someone who cares about the club and doesn't just see it as a business.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

just wondering wut yous mags think about that man u reject gibson now that yous hav been linked with him suppose hes a world beater now is he

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Who says we are linked with him? this is a rumour site. you smb were linked with him on skysports.

Agree2 Disagree1

We have been linked with a load of cack players, including Gibson, Larsson, etc. I won't be happy if we do sign them as they are both below premiership standard.

Agree0 Disagree1

NUFC interest reported on GOAL.com

Agree1 Disagree0

There is no difference if he goes to Sunderland or Newcastle he is s**t.

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't get a game if he comes to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Go back to your site smb

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont need any more CM. Got a lot now and that's more than enough for competition. Gibson not top class either so SAFC are welcome to him

Agree0 Disagree0

Tiote, Barton, Cabaye, Gibson couldnt tie their boot laces

Ed do you think Charles N'zogbia is likely to be playing Newcastle next year? {Ed001's Note - no I think he will go to someone who is willing to pay him higher wages, possibly Villa.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

N zogbia will go to either liverpool, then newcatsle and least chance sunderland. those are the clubs who are in th frame at this moment in time

Agree0 Disagree1

Villa are in 4 him aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparent interest for him from fulham too
