This is total rubbish. If NUFC where going to be after anyone from Ipswich it would be Wickham as he fits the profile, young, talented. But even if they were after Wickhma it would not happen till the summer when I think there will be a revolving door at SJP regarding strikers.

Both of these players are set to sign loan deals on deadline day. Also expect a clutch of youth players to join before a spending spree in the summer which will see up to 8 players arrive on Tyneside.

NUFC definatley need a winger with pace so johnson would be ideal but doubt we could get him. He starting to impose and impress at city plus other bigger sides would be interested if he was available. A top class striker is a must to play with carrol but mutu not the answer. Ameobi going nowhere as we short of good forwards with carrol being injured. Carrol will not be leaving now or in the summer! AP has already stated this and Carrol has already said he will stay as long as the club want him
