Under Mike Ashley, we got relegated.
We have had more changes in management in the years he has been here. Clowns like Wise & Kinnear in. La bias in, who doesn't know about football. Re named St James Park. Plastered a 20p shop logo everywhere he can. I can go on & on. I love NUFC. But I will not back Ashley.
All you saying give him a chance, no way. Our club is a shambles behind the scenes. We need him out.
Mike

It's not our club, it's his. You got a spare £300m to buy him out? Me neither, so all anybody can do is refuse to buy his wares. Moaning about him has done f***-all.

Agree0 Disagree0

No name 2nd poster. I'm just stating facts. I would like the club to go out and spend some money, sell some of the naff, and do well. I love that team no matter what. We need to moan, not accept it. I will follow NUFC away, rather than at home. Shows more passion. I hope Ashley proves me wrong and gets this club top 6 again. But his knowledge of the game added with the director of footballs knowledge. Well I'm not too confident that can happen. Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Second poster here. Anything I've said you disagree with? Vic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley wants Rangers but cannot buy a second club under current rulings. He can buy it cheaper and knows in few years (2-3) they will defo be in the champions league, due to the SPL being Celtic as the only other competition. He is a buisness man and doesn't care about the fans just the figures.
Would be a dream come true for the Toon be bought by a mega rich russian or middle east sheik.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vic, don't disagree mate. Just fed up of the circus. The club we love is being used as a commercial for sports direct. Since buying NUFC their profits have jumped. Good businessman. No footballing brain though. Like I say, just away games for me this season to show I still love the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the second poster - yes and doing f*** all will just encourage him to keep on doing f*** all.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not saying 'do nowt', I'm saying the only way I can see of pushing Ashley is to stop giving him your dosh. Any better ideas will be gratefully rec'd.

Agree0 Disagree0

7th post - you agree with me, then?bb

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't forget about the way he treat shearer/keegan our heroes ffs

Newcastle missing a trick with Nathan Redmond?

They want Shane Ferguson on loan, we want promising young talent. A deal should be simple no? Obviously simple doesn't cut the mustard at Newcastle.

We could even let them keep Redmon until Jan on loan.

One of the few talented English players going for a small fee and it seems we're not interested.

Ashley willing to sell at something between 260 and 300million. PLEASE IF THERE IS A MULTI BILLIONNAIRE OWNER, PLEASE COME AND BUY HIM OUT! TAKE US FORWARD!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'm a business man and I would say the way Ashley is slowly turning this club into a time bomb will ward off any interest from and potential suiters

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley can sit back comfortably, spend nothing on this club and still reap the rewards for his beloved Sports Direct.
He isn't going anywhere.
It's up to the fans to force him out but it seems that a lot don't have the bottle for a fight.

ashley will apparently only sell nufc for 267m 267mwhat do people think of this?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

267million × 267millions, wow he is crazy that's a lot of money. He Wont get that surely?.

Agree0 Disagree0

I do find it strange how investors are always put off buying the Toon. Huge local fan base with a ground perfectly placed all be it unable to extend in any way.

Fans who will back the club to the hilt and buy the shirts year on year. Bring in a few big names and even more shirts would sell (probably enough to offset the cost of the signings).

There must be something underlying which puts people off. but what?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's the whining, miserable fans that put them off, plus the fact that there's very little profit to be made.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you think our fans whinge what about the likes of Man City. they struggle to fill their ground NOW yet look at the money ploughed in to them. I don't believe Ashley is serious otherwise he would have people instigating a move, contacting money orgs around the world. Hasn't the UAE just got a new sheik. and English educated. see if he is in the phone book and give him a call. please
