Icahn just say one thing please Ed. this whole ' has not got premier experience ' comments are just utter garbage, and people don't know what they are talking about! Did Hernandez, Michu, Benteke, Fabregas, And the list goes on and on all didn't have premier experience. If they look good enough, you take them. Other wise you end up with a squad with an average age of 28-30.
Psycho.

Hate to say this but I miss Derek llambias by now he would of signed aubameyang and Douglas I thought joe kinnear was here to speed transfers but took a fat holiday and is recovering from his jet lag. Mike Ashley made a mistake of letting Derek work who worked very hard to negotiate and sign 12 good players over the last three years players for us cabaye Ben arfa santon tiote ba cisse sissoko haidara mbiwa Elliot debuchy gouffran.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It just didn't make sense letting him go. Somethings not right. Ashley is a snake can't stand him or trust him.

What is Ashley's plan for Newcastle? Can anyone seriously answer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well ashley is a die hard spurs fan but you can't blame him wanting his money back from you lot that he put in

Why don't Newcastle try for Omar Abdulrahman, does anyone know how much he would cost?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes they should try he is a very talented winger from UAE, has a lot of skill and can play as a CAM but I don't know how much he would cost, Ed do you know or could you guess? {Ed001's Note - not a clue, nor do I see why it would matter to you as Newcastle have shown no interest.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes but we might be showing an intrest would love him or sinclair

Agree0 Disagree0

Had trial at Man City but didn't sign because couldn't get work permit.

So doubt he could get a work permit now to sign for us anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could of changed anyway other clubs in our league are in for him

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a guy we really do need to sign. If you saw him lay in UAE he rips the league apart and he was good at the Olympics. Looked at sky and would cost £3m but we could bid higher because he is class.

Not unreasonable to pay the sort of price they are wanting for Gomis, considering how much we ended up paying for Cisse

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cisse had more years on his contract left

Thanks to fat Ash and Joke Kinnear we are fast falling behind all the other Premiership sides in securing our survival next season. Even teams like Norwich, Southampton and Slumberland have increased their squads. Ours is considerably weaker and with a person like Kinnear at the helm we don't look ever likely to signing any players. Ashley. why do you want to see this club fail? Don't expect you ever to answer that as since your reign you have never once spoken directly to the fans. very odd that!. Please do the decent thing and sell up when you can and take your rubbish with you.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nice how you said slumberland as to me that means the sleeping giant is going to wake up finally and maybe within the next 10 years bring some success for sunderland, while you lot are in league 1 wondering where it all went wrong? sacking hughton for pratdew?getting agent ashley in charge or Agent Joe to talk trash and make you a laughing stock more than you already are

Agree0 Disagree0

Dream on. you are and still and will always remain in the shadows of the TOON. one victory in the last 16 meetings doesn't put everything right. One thing for sure is the Italian Mafia honeymoon will be short lived and you lot will be the ones adapting to Championship football next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland a sleeping giant? How deluded are you? He only referenced to slumberland because at least your owners showing ambition, but you're buying too many average players! Which will lead you to another circus like last year!

Agree0 Disagree0

To answer the 3 rd post. I can guarantee you 100% that Sunderland will NOT be adapting to Championship football next season. Next season starts in 3 weeks time and correct me if I am wrong you sad mag but I think you will find Sunderland are scheduled to be playing in the premiership. Now if you do not understand how to phrase English go back to school.

Agree0 Disagree0

The highlight of the circus is of course the finale. This is when all the acts come together as it did at the wongadome. 0 - 3!

Agree0 Disagree0

Forgive me but are you suggesting that Sunderland have ALWAYS been in the shadow of the TOON? because if so this could well develop into a very interesting discussion which based simply on league titles for example you will lose my young ( born into the '92 group) friend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle have won more major cups than sunderland! And are a bigger and better club. 5-1! SMB 3-0 you say? Luck (Gutierrez gave the ball away twice leading to two of your goals, tiredness for newcastles players from playing in europa league midweek (something sunderland will never be in) and getting 10 men behind the ball because you're always the underdogs because you ARE the smaller club.

5-1 END OF oh and by the way we finished above you last season anyway! H

Agree0 Disagree0

I must put less bait on my fishing line next time. But before your mam puts you to bed, please enlighten me on these MAJOR cups that you have won which are more important than our 6 league titles as opposed to your 4.

Agree0 Disagree0

Clark, Graham, Colbeck and Chopra. I'm sure these players have and always will upset any SMB. Clark a legend wearing a Toon shirt at Wembley when he was a Sunderland player. Chopra and Graham just as famous in my book for having complete nightmares when attempting to play for your lot when they wished they were wearing a black and white shirt. What a sitter that Chopra missed (On purpose!) love it!. let's face it you're not and never will be in the same league as the top team in the North East and there is only one THE MIGHTY MAGS!

Agree0 Disagree0

And the major cups? Or do you now choose to forget about that earlier comment. By the way, did you know that possibly your greatest number 9, wor jackie supported Sunderland as a boy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I like it when mags have to go back to 2010

Who would fans prefer Remy or Gomis? (They would both cost about the same. )

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would prefer Bent than them both. I know it wasn't the option but he would score more for me. I would take remy as a winger/forward though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gomis seems a better player but remy has prem experiance. I would prefer gomis I think

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed who would you prefer for me its remy? {Ed001's Note - I haven't seen Gomis to know, but I don't rate Remy at all.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I would prefer Remy he has Premier league experience and is younger then Gomis and Remy. Hopefully Ashley buys both

Agree0 Disagree0

Eh Remy is younger than Gomis and Remy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Remy is younger than remy? Nice logic

Agree0 Disagree0

Remy and bent every day!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not that it matters but I live in canada and for some reason on my telly I get a lot of french football and I watch a lot of it. its called eurosport anyway I have watched the leigue 1 for the past 5-6 years and gomis is a quality striker imo he's big, strong, quick feet, good finish with feet and head and has pace I would prefer him over remy especially with this court case on going! and don't worry bout losing out on bony I don't want anymore acon players!! there gone for far to long during a pivitol point in the season

Zoet, Gomis/Remy and a winger would be wa good summer but Remy can be winger.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just remember what we all expected before the transfer window, all the Nani's and Yilmaz's

Lets not believe we are getting people until they have signed a contract

Agree0 Disagree0

We expected Nani and yilaraz? Maybe you did, I certainly didn't and I guess not many did expect these signings.

Agree0 Disagree0

Without a doubt Remy. Forget about his greed when he chose money over playing for the best fans in the world. He is quick, can play out wide, is a natural goal scorer and would, without doubt, compliment Cisse much better than Gomis who is too similar and would want to play straight down the middle. Gomis and Cisse would not be able to play together.

Norwich agreed £7mil with Ajax for Toby Alderweireld a week or so ago.

We should be in for players like this. After 1 good season in BPL his value would double at least.

Again another great player at a good age (24) that is available that we won't go for.

Kinnear and Carr should be on this like a shot.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bernard can leave Ath. Mineiro of £22mil.

That rules us out.

Arsenal, spurs and porto still in for him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Southampton in talks with him.

I think one of the reasons why I feel desperate to sign a striker (other than the obvious) is so that Adam Campbell can go out on loan and get some proper game time. He's a player with real potential but needs to be playing! TOONKARLOS

French age 27! Can score goals, plays left wing, costs 5 mil, can chase back too, interested? Then maybe bent is a bluff and were there discussing about zogbia return???

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Chase back? when he was young and hungry yes. not these days tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nzogbia isn't as bad a shout as it looks. He would be cheap as he's career has stalled and he has something to prove also reaching he's prime.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sweeping the barrel?

Why do I have this horrible feeling Remy will sign for West Ham? I'm praying I'm wrong but we've had so little to be cherry about so far this summer (and then some).

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well, they will certainly offer more money, and that's all it will take.

we will end up signing Bent on 1st September.
no one wants him expect nufc, so we will play hardball with villa to get the best deal possible.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm very confident of us getting remy, he told his representatives he wants to come to Newcastle.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only because he thinks there is no extradition treaty with London and the SE. Failing that he will be at West ham or wormwood scrubs.

Anyone getting fed up with all these rumours and nothing happening!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes I'd say I have been holding in my frustration a bit, but I would bet my house on it that we will sign hopefully at least 2 quality players, hopefully remy and Gomis and maybe kouyate or someone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is this "Someone"? never heard of him. it is a bit rash of you to be betting your house on a player nobody has heard of. your missus will be well peed off when you tell her she has to move back to living in the caravan in Benwell.
