Well its good reading for the balance sheet supporters with our books looking positive. The statement from the club saying if we can get a couple of years of 10th place finishes then the club can push on ( aim for 9th they mean ) BUT and a big BUT, if we stop going and buying Ashleys Cr**, it will affect the ambition on the pitch. WHAT? Ambition? No interest in cups and scrapping for 10 th place? All the released statement was saying is, Keep turning up, buy tops, programmes, pies, beer and keep filling Fat Mikes pockets. There is NO ambition in the club so now its up to us to say enough is enough.

I am just thankful at this point that the joker wasn't at the club last January when we got 5 Frenchmen through the door or we definitely would be back in the Championship.
There is also no way we can loose 5-8 players in the summer and not replace them with new quality players. Surely not even the great and all power crazy MA can be that naive, can he?
Bigi, Campbell, Dummett, Haidara, and Armstrong need to play more games too not just cup games they need a little run to be truly judged.

Now that we are just about safe from relegation we should start playing Bigi Haidera etc and bring back Campbell from st mirren (what a waste sending him up there) also abeid and connor newton need to have a run out, last week Gosling was our only midfield sub how bad is that

As is Ashley via his mouthpieces indicates any action or fans refraining from buying season tickets or on match days will affect the team we put on the pitch

NO mention of the last 12 months where the club have taken 130+ & any summer signings will be funded by sales. Talk about turning things around

Art: 100% agree. Mediocre's the right word to describe our team now, and two or three cheap signings won't improve matters at all if two or three (or more) of our better players move on or lose interest. Trouble is, 50,000 fans turned up to see a meaningless match against one of the least exciting opponents. Makes you wonder what Pardew/Ashley think 'pushing on' means, if Europa place is bad news. There's no way 'two or three' signings could drag this lot into a top four place.

It is a disgrace in itself that the hierarchy are trying to camouflage the true extent of the accounts to June 2013
citing that the off field actions of fans can and will jeopardize the standing on the pitch of the team and reading between the lines any offensive action from fans will jeopardize the standing of the club in othere words affect the amount Ashley can take out of NUFC
Of course June 2014 accounts Will should show a dramatic upturn and the real position of the club which is affluent in comparison with many & the audacity of being happy with mid table 10th is an insult to every Newcastle United fan.
The Apathy has just begun so we better all get used to it. We are a mediocre team and club and will continue to be under Ashley who also seeks justification for having his SD plastered all over SJP
