Hi Lads Sunderland fan here in peace.

In the light of Simon mignolet winning the North East football writers associations player of the year with Ben Arfa second and another cracking keeper in Tim Krul third.

Who is the Best, Mignolet or Krul?.

I am a mackem but that does not necessarily mean I am going to say Mignolet, I am torn as I like both.

Pros and cons who do you think is better?. I watch Mignolet every week so I know how good he is and he is good possibly world class. We are resigned to losing him to a top 4 side in the summer. I wouldn't swap him for any keeper in the world. I don't get to see Krul live obviously only the odd match on TV and highlites so I will leave you geordies to pass comment on your keeper.

Mignolet has been in the better form this whole season, but krul is starting to pick up some form. On both of each others day, krul is the slightly better I reckon. But on a normal day for krul and a good day from mignolet, mignolet is better by far

I agree with the word form, Mignolet has been in superb form this season and krul a bit inconsistant. Krul can make a wow unbelievable save but then do the odd blooper. His distribution is a bit suspect too and is a bit gangly. Mignolet seems more consistant and has better distribution. I would say Mignolet is the better all round keeper but krul does more world class saves.
Its like Mignolet is good at everything and Krul is world class at one or two things and average at others

Shay Given was for example the best shot stopper in the premier League but wasn't the best keeper in the premier league because of he's weaknesses elswhere.

On a diffrent note did anyone see Elliots throw out against Saints? Past the half way line! get him to take our throw ins. in our half he can get them in to opposition box
