Here's my wish lis
Klopp as head coach or failing that Moyes/De Boer

Micha sRichards on a free to play CB, along with Taylor and Dummet, lascalles as back up and another experienced one-maybe Robert Huth? Kieran Trippier as cover for Janmaat and Brady from hull to play left back.
I'd keep Abeid but we need quality play maker and TBH I'd love Cabaye back and his return would lift the place otherwise Grenier should be back on the shopping list. Hopefully Aaron's can stay fit and if we play Cabella on the right I think we are OK wide.
If SDJ is going to play in the hole then we only need two strikers, Austin would do for me and from what little I have seen Mitrovic looks to have it all but if we could get Ings on a free I'll happily have him too.
time to let Tiote, Cisse, Obertan, Collo, Willo, RTaylor, Rivière, Sammi, Elliott go but I'd give Jonas a new contract and try to get Vukic to realise his potential.

I haven't seen anything of Micah Richards in the last few yesrs to suggest he's more capable of playing CB ahead of Lascelles. Agree on Trippier to cover Janmaat but I thought Brady was more of a winger. But I guess we do need a LB if Dummet is to be moved to centre and assuming Haidara can stay fit as he's been generally good when played.
There is a lot of mystery around Aaron's, I really hope we get this guy tied down early in the summer.
I would love to see Ings and Austin fight to lead the line for us. and we CAN convince them both to make the move. they wouldn't get as much game time at any of the other clubs they've been linked to.

In terms of the head coach, we need to show some ambition and go for Jurgen Klopp or Brendan Rodgers if he's available. Someone who has a good footballing philosophy and can establish it right to the grass roots of the club and we can start producing better youngsters. Also we need to actually give the new head coach their own coaching staff and get rid of carver, stone and woodman who are all dinosaurs.

As for signings, Trippier or Jenkinson would be decent competition for Janmaat. I think we need a commanding centre back like Vlaar or Shawcross, along with a secondary one like Caulker. I agree with GT that Brady is more of a winger and picks up a lot of injuries, I personally think Andrew Robertson would be decent or maybe if we offered enough money and ambition, Aaron Cresswell who's been excellent for West Ham. I agree we need a good playmaker, I think Jonjo Shelvey has a had a very good season, he's young and English and has got an eye for a pass, we've needed someone like him to replace cabaye, who dictate the play. I think we still need a good out and out winger like Yannick Bolasie or Matt Phillips. Maybe need a bit more creativity in the final third, Gylfi Sigurdsson or Jack Grealish, but they're quite unrealistic. Finally as for strikers, We need a target man, who is strong and can hold the ball up like Charlie Austin or Aleksander Mitrovic along with someone like Danny Ings.

That's my wish list lol.

Even someone like Alex Song would be good in the midfield imo

i read we are looking at a core of home countries players. does this mean the head coach will be home countries based too? If I could have a coach I'd really like to see de boer.

players for me would include austin, shawcross, cabaye and bollasie. agree that Shelvey would be a great option in that creative midfield role.

JT, most of the players you mention would not leave their clubs for us or be allowed to leave. Austin perhaps, Ings perhaps but the rest no way. As for Caulker, are you serious? Could not cut it at Spurs then went down with Cardiff and again with QPR, no way is he what we need.
Never been a fan of Rodgers, he got sacked at reading trying to build a team, got lucky picking up Martinez's side at Swansea and then even luckier to get the Liverpool job by finishing 12th and then only did so well in 13/14 due to the brilliance of Suarez and Gerrard and Sterling who he inherited. He is not right for us, yes we need a coach that will get us playing better football but also one that will stop us leaking goals and Rodgers is not that man.

{Ed001's Note - I will happily carry Rodgers to Newcastle if you want him? Utterly inept at man-management and refuses to accept he has got anything wrong. He will never learn if he can't accept his failings. Oh and those stupid comments he makes would have you tearing your hair out within a few weeks!}

I agree with what your saying however we really do need some prem proven finished products, not players who could "maybe" cut it in the prem like Riviere. We need to really splash the cash to get that core spine in the team. The head coach needs to be a visionary IMO, no more Pardews i'd mcclarens, we need someone who can build something here and give us exciting football to watch, like what Koeman and Pochettino did at Southampton

If Marcelo Bielsa is available I'd definitely take him or Remi Garde and perhaps Laudrup as KK suggested if he's changed his attitude to management a bit

{Ed002's Note - I would say that it will most likely be McClaren if Carver goes - else don't discount Laudrup or Robbie Di Matteo.}

I' be happy with Laudrup, he took Swansea to the next level after Rodgers left and added an end product to the possession that was lacking under the Irishman's stewardship. I would not mind him finding a Michu for us either. RDM is no good and McClaren would be a desperate option and as for Carver. don't even get me started I'll be here all day and I've got work to do.

Congratulations on yesterday I wish you all a UNITED future that makes up for your past.
Best of luck and I really hope Ashley means what he says and you ALL pull together, because a NEWCASTLE where everyone is on the same side and pulling in the same direction could become some force for sure.
