Fantastic results lads. I was watching MOTD and pardew is the man for me to bring us trophies and champions league. First half, southampton had a very good gameplan that we were struggling to penetrate. Pards changed something at half time. Second half we countered their gameplan by playing it shorter then direct down the wing and it worked. Well done AP. You can tell our motivation and confidence is sky high, as Ben arfa in an interview seems very confident that we can win something soon, and has said that pardew has been a very good man manager to him. Get Ben arfa a new contract, try and win the Europa league and finish as high up the table as we can.
Beating the mackems would be brilliant, and I'm certainly up for it. We are a new team. I would bet my house that sunderland will defend right from the start, and what are going to do to counter that? Play short Sharp attacking football with the pace and power of gouffran, cisse, HBA, sissoko, cabaye, tiote (who had his best game against southampton). I'm confident we'll beat them and if we turn up like we have in the past few games, I'm sure we'll batter them.

Geoedie Moses, nice hair tiote ;)

Pardew has done summik good? he's got a lot of makin up to do, his tactics were woeful in the 1st half of the season. Stupid stuff like shola RM. defending a 1 nil lead, early 2nd half against a crap team etc etc etc etc etc

Last post, what do you expect? You can't just give a tactic to a team and expect them to do it. He had half a team of youths! He wasn't backed by the board in the summer! It was mainly Willo and simpson hoofing it up the field! Get a grip.

Pardew a lot of making up to do. Dude I bet you £10 that you were thinking AP was a God for getting us 5th last year, and into Europe

I honestly hate fickle fans like you, your honestly worth less than a mackham! I think a mackham could be worth A LOT MORE!

We had a bad start due to injuries, and playing younger player with very little experience, we paid the cost for that. Now look at the damage we can do, and that's not thanks to a new manager, that's the board helping AP to do his job!

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT US TO DO WITH 12 PLAYERS OUT?

If the terrible start we had is to blame on anyone blame the board! Get a grip, and go back to playing championship manager!

Well I expect NUFC to beat West Ham at home. don't give me all that injuries nonsense. This was the team for that game:

01 Krul
03 Santon
05 Simpson (Obertan - 79' )
06 Williamson
27 S Taylor
31 Ferguson
04 Cabaye
10 Ben Arfa Booked
18 Gutierrez (Anita - 24' )
09 Cisse (Sh Ameobi - 45' )
19 Ba
Substitutes
21 Elliot
08 Anita
17 Amalfitano
20 Bigirimana
22 Marveaux
25 Obertan
23 Sh Ameobi

what about Swansea at home:

01 Krul
03 Santon Booked
05 Simpson (Bigirimana - 74' )
06 Williamson
27 S Taylor
31 Ferguson (Sh Ameobi - 46' )
08 Anita
10 Ben Arfa
24 Tiote
19 Ba
28 Sa Ameobi (Marveaux - 79' )
Substitutes
21 Elliot
34 Tavernier
17 Amalfitano
20 Bigirimana
22 Marveaux
39 Abeid
23 Sh Ameobi

Yes, slightly weaker team, however it is time of adversity that a manager enhances his reputation. Pardew is a bog standard manager, its always excuses, excuses, excuses.

A fortunate victory over Southampton hasn't convinced me yet, a lot of work to do and improvements to make

Exactly, a fortunate victory over Saints and yet Pardew is strutting about as if he is Ferguson, even making out how he helped make Saints the team they are today!
He needs to know when to keep quiet, otherwise people might actually start to ask "why did you get sacked by Southampton?"

Well cisse and ba didn't exactly work out. Simpson didn't give HBA any help, couldn't cross for his life and just kept on hoofing it, same with williamson. Ferguson did not get any support at left back by jonas who has lost his legs and could not play left midfield.
I'll give you one thing, pardew got the formation wrong, but apart from that, it wasn't really his fault. I bet you thought pardew was god last season, go back under your anti pardew rock.

I did not think Pardew was a god last season, I thought he had a lot of good fortune.

And as for saying "Ba ans Cisse didn't work". that's a managers job to sort it out. "Simmo and Williamson just hoof it", again that is the managers fault. things going wrong on a football pitch are ultimately managers fault, he picked the team, he briefed the team, he set the tactics, the formation, he makes the subs!! Go back under your person rocK!

Embo

Williamson and simpson were hoofing it because they didn't have the confidence! When ba had an interview, he said the team works on possession in training!

Well its the managers job to give them confidence, ita called man management!

Its not just about Management, players are called professional for a reason. You can't tell me they don't know how to play football unless directed?

Its was more about standards of players than Management. Williamson is not a high standard of player, therefore all the coaching in the world won't make him better. Pardew had little choice but to go with what he had. The only thing one could say he is to blame is formations at times and the on going issues with free kicks and corners which are still a waste of time.

If Pardew wasn't a good man manager, demba ba, hatem ben arfa, krul etc. would not be as good as they are now.
