NUFC . . with taylor goin we shud try get 7/8 mil . . we don't want that guy from pompey we want bougherra hes class also i would love either robbie keane or jo ben arfa honestly will sign on the last day . . . leroy fer i have watched him play and hes amazing strong and fast would love leroy bougherra and kean/jo that would be ace . . !

What the hell are people saying here? We will not get over £4m for Taylor, average at best and always injured plus his contract almost gone, give it up idiots at thinking £7m lol. Any top 8 team has better defenders and his shocking wage demands will scare even those, good riddance from the many fans i have spoken to today!

No doubt the plan is get rid at any cost and replace with a young loanee as Taylor is 4th choice here, Boyate at Man City or Mancienne maybe.

Mike Ashley is correct in keeping tight control of the purse strings, many clubs are following his example, Aston Villa for instance.Clubs just cannot afford the ludicrous wages being paid to some very average Premier League footballers.The World Cup showed exactly how good our best footballers are !
