if it had not been for demba bas goals in the first half of the season we would not be where we r u have got to think he was pushed onto the wing in a new formation a posistion he has never played before n he put some good shifts in if he is stayin and playin out wide give him chance to adapt to the posistion and he will learn to cut insideand shoot n get better at settin up are other players dont get me wrong he is no ben arfa but hba as played that posistion or a similar 1 all his career give BA a chance he done us a great job

He played out wide for Hoffenheim.

He has actually played left of a front 3 before, but i agree wth your point that he's been VERY important to us this season and wouldnt be easy to replace.
If he wants to stay great and i hope he does, if he wants to leave thats a real shame.

Where is all this negativity about Ba coming from? Its on the transfer page. I thought he had a top season even the goals didn't come towards the end of the season. His goals early on propelled us to the top 6 and with the rest of the side help us finish 5th. I am sure the mackems would like to be saying the same.

C ant remember a bad word said against him we love his attitude and want tokeep him but its probably going to be down to money

A harsh decision but I think £50k a week shoudl be enough for anyone, if not then thanks and goodbye. His goals were crucial to us BUT his first touch is often terrible and not good enough if we are to progress further, this added to his time away at the ACON and his time bomb knee and if we get £7m for him and invest in a European striker such as De Jong/Giroud then it could take us further. If he goes to PSG I wonder if we can get Gameiro as part of the deal.
My biggest worry is though that it upsets Cisse and he starts to fade. I guess we will all find out when the club tell us because tehy keep it very close these days, thankfully.

Reported today that Newcastle ie Derek Llambias is refusing to re-negotiate Ba's 50,000/week wages. Although 50k is already reasonably high surely moving him up to 70K would make sense, though if he's asking for £100,000, let him leave for £7million profit.

What are your sources for this, i hope its not the one in the mirror, as they have no sources for it either. also Ba's wages aren't at 50 grand either and even if this was true there is no way that we would up his wages to that. Finally its not a 7 million profit, Ba reportedly get half of that, and the rest would cover the agent fees and insurance fees it cost when we bought him.
I honestly cant see him leaving, i said this a while ago, even if this £7mill release clause is a true value, the club wanting him would have to pay that, also the high agent fees and also insurance (because of that reported leg problem) would push the total well over 10-12 mill and I dont see a club wanting to pay that especially if his knee does go

Ba is on 20k a week with a appearance fee of 30 k then goal bonus on top

How can ba be on 20k a week he was free and i here we give him a 2 million signing on fee and 40k a week....

I thought Ba got half the release fee if he goes ,sure i've read that a few times. If so we won't make much out of his sale.

They won't go above wage structure as this would cause future problems
It's all rumour anyhow ba is on hols it's his agents continuing the talks

Surely Kalou (26) on a free would be a great deal on the right wages, even Bosingwa as a temporary solution to our RB problems would work.

Kalou is leaving Chelsea for first team football so unless Ba goes, we won't be signing him.
