this might put all the nzogbia rumours to bed taken from the paper wigan today

The 25-year-old knuckled down and his brilliant form throughout last term means Latics can expect to receive at least a similar fee even though he now only has 12 months remaining on his contract.

Speculation was rife at the weekend that N Zogbia had agreed terms with big-spending Liverpool pending a medical, although the Wigan chairman says such talk is premature.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

More spurs than arsenal even though i don't know who your on about!

Agree0 Disagree0

He's talking about Enrique in reply to two rumours.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not one in 5underland 5-1 5-1 5-1

Agree1 Disagree1

He will probably fly into a midlands airport or even a london one as he is based down there! as for setting up vip transfers from airport! don't make me laugh! Do you actually know how that works? i do! prove you do!

Agree0 Disagree0

By my last report he lives in cheshire and with manchester airport being the closest would presume his flew from there but if his going to newcastle he could fly back into newcastle not

Enrique to leave the toon, for the gunners 6million to be tabled for the spaniard.

- - -

If Enrique leaves we'll make profit on him Ashley will want at least 10 million but most clubs have cooled there interest at the mo

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Not for 6 million he won't be! try 10 plus

Agree0 Disagree0

10 mill plus give ye heed a shake be lucky t get half that

Agree0 Disagree2

Id rather let him run his contract out than go for that

Agree2 Disagree0

Shook my head and its still closer to 10 mill than 6 for enrique. The lad is in demand snd that drives up the price plus ashley looking for profits so why take 6 for him when that what he cost and isn't on high wages!

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as reports coming from the club they have not had any bids

Agree1 Disagree0

Colichini, enrique both back to spain - Barton defo won't be here at end of August ( WHU have bid p/ex - Barton considering options from Stoke and other before dropping league)- looking at Spectra as replacement ( but currently away with USA)
Fuller on a free ( old mate of pardrew) - also looking at swiss u21 striker and keen to develop ameobie 2
- ashley desperate to cut wage bill - no big name signings

! how long did it take you to make up this p**h.Why bother if all your going to say is rubbish!

Believable0 Unbelievable2

He must be in the know most truthful post on here

Y do u all want nzogbia he is so cocky and just wants more money and is not worth £12m only £8m in my eyes, there more better talent out there.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Because he is proven in the premier league he might be cocky and arrogant but aren't all the best players in the world like that. .?? It's what makes them more confident and better players cantona Rooney ronaldo do I need continue?

Agree3 Disagree0

Messi and bale aren't but they're just two to be fair.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah only 2 but money says everything I guess I'd rather have a quality player and pay him 75 k than 2/3 players who won't make the grade at 30k a week :S but in Newcastle quantity over quality I guess :(

Agree0 Disagree0

The cockiest player ever has to be ballotelli but the kid aint bad just a nutter! zog not above the 10 million mark in value for sure!

Agree0 Disagree0

He is just confident in his ability

BAD NEWS LADS! Just saw N'Zogbia at the stadium of light, got in the house to make sure it was him and inside sources have reported it also, im not a time waster 100% true!

(NufcSmith)

Sir, I doubt your credibility. I put it to you, that you are a fraud. Insomnia is still on holiday.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

The person makem who, s says we are after vassel how old is he sure he, s getting on now that means scumderland be buying him. and as for ashley losing money on profits at sports direct get your FACTS righthe sold sports direct for nearly 900 million kept 20% and was a director then the fat controller ran it down and started buying the shares back then and got control again and owns it again that's FACT check it out. i, m a mag through and through and do not like the fat controller at all but he knows how to run a buisness. in the next 3 seasons premier league getting capped to stop clubs getting in to debt and going bankrupt and we are there that's why ellis short is not chucking money about for use. .new of the world revealed the other week scumerland are nearly 86 million in red

Agree2 Disagree1

Sunderland most probably are in debt but how does this capping work newcastle are supposedly free of debt how much do ye owe mr ashley who supposedly paid ye debt off. good way to run a club mr ashley doesn't have a bottomless pit and that is why the money from carroll is in the bank and won't be spent and the selling of nolan and the likely departure of big earners barton enrique guiterez and collocini and i must admit the good signing tiote will go along with ben arafa when fit and the money will all go into mr ashleys account. ye all blind if ye can't see what ashley is doing bringing these young french lads on the cheap hoping they have a good season and flog them on at a nice profit just like ye stated his a very good business man and will take ye to the cleaners like ye also state on here big club large fan base but really 50,000 mugs getting screwed hence the name from all sunderland fans screwcastle united. doom and gloom at the toon and if ye get relegated no reason to sell anyone because they will all be on s**te wages.

Agree1 Disagree1

Another fact which team as been relegated the most since premiership started answeres underneath . . . another fact in the last 20 years who, s been the top dogs the most again answeres underneath. . another fact did you, s old the record for lowest points in premiership until derby took it. i, m an honest mag we are s**te we get buy and ashley won't spend much. .but guess what youre s**te to and have no money to spend aswell FACT FACT FACT

Agree0 Disagree1

Its actually a ueafa ruling my mistake 2012 onwards all premiership clubs has to make a profit and not a loss. .and its been documented ashley wants to find players and sell them on for a profit and at the moment they all seem to be french. and yes we might be getting screwed as you lot say but what would you recomend we all stay at home when its not going our way that's why our fans are different we turn up in our thousands to support. i, m actually one mag who like you lot scumberland in the same league i like the derbys. .but believe me you, s have not got the money to spend sorry reprase that ellis won't spend the money as he, s lost that much over last couple of seasons on stupid players starting with keane, s departures. .bruce might be next we just have to wait and see but do i have a point or what

Agree1 Disagree0

Read the post mate don't mention newcastle as being s**te in fact praising some of ye players but they will be sold that's if anyone rates them enough to buy them as for both being s**te i would place them as half decent middle of the table teams but still doesn't take away the point i was making ashley in it for the money and as over 40,000 plus keep saying he doesn't know what his doing

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end of the day Quinn has to go begging round the pubs of Sunderland To get fans into the stadium.

Agree2 Disagree0

I disagree there will be 50,0000 fans unhappy with what he, s doing at the club but believe me the fat controller knows what he, s doing which we don't aprove of.

On the leeds rumours site someone said deal is almost done for Smith to go to West Ham? Ehhhh

I know the wages are a problem for Leeds but I honestly thought he'd go back to Elland Road

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Does anyone have any news on that front?

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2011 13:51:56
Wow, here come the Drogba rumours again. Look I'd like him here as much as the next Toon fan but for the price and the wages he will want, and at his age we may as well look elsewhere for younger talent.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Younger would be better but still 2/3 good seasons in drogba he could be the man to lift the squad to the next level we need prooven fire power why waste few million on some kid who fails in the league xisco comes to mind if we ever had a chance to get drogba I'd snap him up instantly

Vicente to sign on a free in the next few days.

What position does he play?

He's a winger but I doubt we'll sign him cause he's too old. Ashley wants someone young with a possible sell on vaule

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I agree to old for the toon, 30 next month

Let's let jonas go. Good work ethic but no end product which is what we need. Desperatly. N zogbia puts good balls in the box but hope we don't break the strict wage structure to get him.

Also has anybody heard about a Dutch player Newcastle have been watching?

Taylor in this weekend hopefully

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Dutch player 21 or 22 , cant spell his name

Agree2 Disagree0

Suelmani?

the kids unreal!

Agree0 Disagree0

Valued at 15m no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

If its Sulejmani he's a winger/striker, and if he plays predominantly as a striker his scoring record is s**t. If he's a winger, then we're going to have a whole squad of wingers. .

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2011 08:55:42
I hope we do sign someone today, drogbra would be great haha. But it's more likely a run our and Ashley would not push the boat out to get him. Know dour we will fet a free agent again. Ed have you heard anything or anyone going to st James park?!? {Ed001's Note - I haven't, I can't think of anything I have heard of anyone going in.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jun 2011 10:23:52
is anyone actually bothered jonas might go? he is lazy and has no end product at all, he cannot cross the ball, and has 1 good game in every 5, he's like lauren robert, one class game in 5 and we as toon fans are romantics and don't recognise his laziness and inconsistance

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Out all the things I could have a go about Jonas "laziness" certainly isn't something I can say about him the man works his socks off every game.

Agree9 Disagree1

He's nothing like laurent robert , in my opinion robert was a class newcastle player

Agree4 Disagree2

Jonas definatley not lazy but his final ball is his weak point. would be a great player if his passing and vision matched his work rate

Agree3 Disagree0

Jonas can't cross worth of s**t which makes him useless as a winger, sad to say since I like him.

Agree2 Disagree0

To be fair on the lad his crossing has improved and even though him and enrique have a good partnership can't help feeling his end product might be better if he was on the right. Did anyone else notice how well he played down the centre against Chelsea?

Agree0 Disagree0

I always figured he'd be better down the centre. Since his crossing is weak it would make sense, he can run the ball well and he can make space.

Agree0 Disagree0

If enrique goes then i hope jonas goes, great understanding between them and our best left side for years. del

i hope to god all this kenwyn jones talk is rubbish , he's actually s**t and used too be a 6fingred mackem

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Hes too similar to Ba also

(NufcSmith)

Agree4 Disagree3

He's not s**t, but we can do much better provided we're getting that money.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's nothing like ba , ba is much more pacey and has a better goalscoring record , jones is not the wayt foward

Agree2 Disagree0

Kenwyn is a good player i no he was a mackem, he gd in the air and with his feet, he score every where he goes

Agree1 Disagree2

Don't think there is anything in these rumours quite glad as don't really like his laid back approach to the game.

Agree1 Disagree0

I liked his laid back approach when he played for Sunderland though, lol.

Agree2 Disagree0

Stokes number 1 forward so to sell him t would need to bring in 3 more forwards plus a backward step for him going to newcastle

Agree0 Disagree0

People saying he can't score, well he managed to score against us last season. Then again so did Perch.
