Sammy ameobi going to middlesboro on loan. They play good football and in with a shout of promotion, probably play him as a striker though. good look to him

I doubt boro will be coming up, they had a good start to the season but the past few months they just given up.
Out of all the teams pushing for promotion, boro have dropped the most points recently.
I am not a boro fan and even I find their form irritating, something has to change otherwise they have no chance.
They should grab Sammy with both hands because they are sliding big style.

Anybody missing Krul? Hope those who criticised him after the Spurs game are enjoying themselves.

What happened against Southampton has nothing to do with the game against Spurs.
Are you saying it is Ok to make mistakes so long as the 2nd choice will make more?
I am not sure that is a good logic.
Anyways, I was the one that said Harper should have been stand in against Saints, and I got something like 7 disagrees and no agrees.

Someone like to explain what Elliott has done wrong? Looked pretty solid and played well great distribution compared to other keepers
Agree6

It seems people expected him to save every shot. I thought he had a good game.

Harper is sooooo laid back its agonising, he does a job. for a championship team. I remember his pathetic excuse of his last being undone so he couldn't make a save to stop a goal when we lost to stoke 4-0 in 10/11

Harper is as agile as my Gran and she has been dead for 6 years.

For those of you who are watching the game, are we playing hoof ball? I hope not, because from what i'm reading on the commentary, its saying "Newcastle pressure, lots of balls into the box, no end product"
Please say we're not doing hoofball there's just no way we can succeed with that!

Perhaps a little, but most the play is just ingenuity from Cabaye and Sissoko. Absolutely fantastic pair, Gouffran offering a lot as well. Just wait until you see Cisse's strike on MotD, good God it was outrageous.

No I don't think we are luckily! Got some good football going, like last years!
Agree5

NO, we are starting to show qualities that we had last year. I can not wait for Over The Wall to be back in the team.
Even as a sub R. Taylor has been a miss this year, when HBA and Cabaye were out we didn't have a dead ball taker. I really think he will do us proud once he's back in the black and white.
Also is it true our deal with Puma is nearly up? If true, does anyone know who our next sponsor will be?

southampton playing 442, such a weak central midfield davis and cork, we should run riot in the midfield. i'm going for a 2-0 win for us, its a must win, COME ON LA TOON AMI

We really want to start getting m'biwa involved. Suggestions?
Here's a few options:
1. Play him as a DM along with cabaye in front of back four.
2. Replace Colo
3. Put m'biwa as left back and play santon as a winger.
4. Play colo DM and play m'biwa at centre back.

Could play a 3-5-2:
------------------Krul------------------
----M'Biwa-----Coloccini---Saylor----
Debuchy---Cabaye----Tiote---Santon
----------------Sissoko----------------
----------Cisse--------Gouffran-------
Pards probs wouldn't do that. but I think it would work.

Formation : 4-2-3-1, Team : Elliot, Debuchy, S. Taylor, Collo, Santon, Anita, Tiote, Sissoko, Cabaye, Gouffran, Cisse. please keep Jonas in the bench and play Anita instead as he can cover for attack-minded Debuchy. iToon.

How long can we carry cisse without him scoring, with the decent team and chances created surely any striker would sink at least one in the net, have we got another one? Forget strikers and just bang in 4 attacking mid fielders and let them run riot

If we take the lead today, we must keep on having a go even if it stays 1-0 and we keep southampton out and we keep on creating. We can't settle for a draw, we must win this game. But please pardew do not sit back on a 1-0 unless we actually try and counter attack with speed, sexy football and clinical finishing. We are not the side that lost 2-0. We have a new look. We now have strength in the middle, great passers of the ball. Lots of power and pace. Sissoko, gouffran and cisse need to be on their game. COME ON LADS

Pardew is our manager so if we go one nil up we'll sit back and invite pressure on ourselves.
