Anyone else think we should get Dedryck Boyata in hes CB/RB really good strong defender hes on loan at bolton from man city season long loan come to an end....

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I've always thought we shouldn't buy anyone from a relegated team, they went down for a reason. Because the players weren't good enough. Always an exception though, Jarvis has played really well, and I think wolves would have had a better chance of staying up if the strikers had put away more of his crosses. But I'd definitely steer clear of Boyata and Bolton in general, always thought of them as a joirneyman club.

Agree1 Disagree1

He done unreal at man city so why not bolton got relegated cause they never scored so thats basically the attackers fault, in my view boltons defence done alright . and when boyata goes back to man city they wont even play him barely so newcastle should look into something for him

Agree1 Disagree1

Yeah, imagine getting a player from a relegated team, we should have stayed clear of Demba, liability.

Agree1 Disagree1

It's got nothing to do with the team being relegated its the player , you jst don't know anything about football

Agree1 Disagree0

Do you read entire posts? or do you just like to disagree with certain parts?

I said "there's always an exception". Ba was a great signing, just like Jarvis would be. The rest I think we could get better players cheaper elsewhere.

Newcastle 8th in the premier league all time league table. Middlebrough sit 13th. But I'm glad to report the Sunderland, a club with such arrogance at this time in the "MoN Era" sit a depressing 17th. I was thinking to make this a transfer rumour too, I would suggest that interest in Corgnet, although still perhaps strong, may be dampened after Dijon gained promotion to Ligue 1.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Dijon just got relegated out of ligue 1

Eds, what do you reckon the chances newcastle will have a look at some of the Villareal players seeing as they got relegated? I know some of them would be a bit ambitious like Rossi and Nilmar, but they have some decent defenders that could be going cheap like Zapata and Mussachio? {Ed001's Note - I am sure the scouts will have had a look, though Rossi is not an option as he is out injured (again) until next April.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Spanish league players tend to like playing over there though, it's a different type of play.

Agree4 Disagree1

When you find it make sure the unwashed dont as they lost theres 20 seasons ago....smb

Agree2 Disagree1

I think we will still play for 4-3-3 ben arfa was beastly, got some great goals, Jonas pitched in and i think he's got 2 seasons left starting every game. ferguson looks a good winger, but we also have maurvuex

The thought of Adam Johnson setting our hallowed turf alight excites me! Would be an awesome signing! But will wages be a stumbling block?

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Not sure, If he wants to play and then maybe get into England he might take a drop for that chance. And then we are in Euro so we have a bit of pull there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Depends if he wants to work hard and focus or collect a wage and go out every night.

he doesn't put a shift in during games which is why he never starts at city

Agree0 Disagree0

And why he wasn't picked as a euro player. he just attacks.

Agree0 Disagree0

We already know his attitude isn't brilliant... but it may be different if he's playing for us. He's a toon fan I think? TOONKARLOS

Agree1 Disagree0

Toon fan yes but we released him as a child...

Don't understand why the club are so keen to get rid of Forster, 75 clean sheets in 144 games is a decent record. Don't see him displacing Krul but I'd like to see him given a chance at least.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

90% of which were in sunday league standard north of the border.

Agree5 Disagree0

More like 50%, the others were in league 1 and championship. Either way you cant deny it's still impressive and shows he's ready for the step up.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well Jelavic came from there, calling him Sunday league standard?

Agree2 Disagree0

We should get rid of Forster and Elliott - neither are anywhere near good enough for the Premier.
Nobody ever seems to mention we need a really GOOD backup keeper for Tim.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say forster isnt good enough? He's not ever played in the premier league bits been outstanding everywhere else. Would take harper over Elliot, but even then I don't know much about Elliot, would rather forster got a chance over him though.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would like AL Habisi at Toon quality keeper imo.
