Who'd like to see us line up like this against city?
4-1-2-1-2
----------------------Elliot------------------------
Debuchy----S. Taylor-------M'biwa------Santon
----------------------Anita------------------------
-------------Jonas-----------Cabaye-------------
---------------------Sissoko---------------------
--------------Cisse-----------Gouffran----------
This not only gives a good counter attacking ability, but also gives us the option to go out and dominate big teams like man city, home or away. This may lack width, but this is where the strikers create that. man united absolutely tore us apart with this formation, and because we have some good technical players, so this could work. But would pardew use this?
Here's what it would be with everyone fit:
------------------------Krul-------------------------
Debuchy----S. Taylor--------M'biwa-------Santon
----------------------Cabaye-----------------------
-------------R. Taylor---------Sissoko-------------
---------------------Ben Arfa----------------------
--------------Cisse------------Gouffran-----------
And also I think benny would be brilliant in a free role, give us extra width, creativity, imagination and threat.

Geordie Moses

Man City are very predictable right now.

Mancini is obsessed with playing wing backs with their forwards playing very central.

This is a game where Debuchy and Santon could really do a number on City.

Battle of the full backs this one.

R Taylor? First choice? {Ed004's Note - With everyone fully fit would Tiote not start? I don't watch every Newcastle game but I watch them when I get a chance and I'm not sure Cabaye would suit sitting that deep surely it'd be better having someone else doing the dirty work for him and playing him were Taylor or Sissoko is?}

Yer mate, you have named a good line up there, by your view we would do well against the big teams.

You forgot one main thing.

We play hoofball, not football
