watched some videos of Mohamed Bangura looks like he could have a bright future, seems to be compitant on both feet and great at direct running. . however this is all in sweden, the defenders werent the best
could be a good bargain buy for the future

Can't judge someone from a youtube video though. He might be a gem and for a couple of million its worth a gamble. I wouldn't just sign him though, need someone with some experience.

a bid of £500,000 has been lodged for Darrius Vassel from Leicester FACT, Newcastle are in need of a top quality striker to take them to the next level and Pardew see's Vassel an ex england international as the man to do that. Deals for Erding, N'zogbia have already fell through as newcastle can not afford the wages as Mike Ashley is trying to pay off the clubs debts. 100% true, no joke and I am a newcastle fan

who on here rreally thinks nzogbia would be worth 12 million and 60k a week good player but not worth that just think of who ye could get for that. on these pages the mags fav sturridge would def be a chance i def wouldn't want nzogbia at the sol on a deal like that. but ye can guarantee whoever signs him out of sunderland and newcastle the mags will be saying his coming home and we will be boasting how he chose us both should let him move on to another club

pardew dosent want erdinc, he wants to sign matuidi but his agent is also erdinc and he wants them both at newcastle,
nZog will be coming to the toon, he agent has said some promising stuff that shows signs of him moving to the toon, wish we could get another midfielder and a class striker to play with ba!

Why would we prioritize a midfielder over a striker. Pardew has come out and said Erdinc has always been on the Toon radar.
Also forget Forlan for 7 Million he has outrageous wage demands.

What happened when you sold Carroll and needed a striker? elmander was mentioned, then what happened you put a bid in for N'zogbia a winger. point proved! midfielder over a striker.

We have more than enough midfielders and yet we're still tracking N'Zogbia, Matuidi and apparently Barnetta. We should be getting strikers first ffs.

Its all just rumours. For all we know Pardew might be going for forwards. I still don't think fat Ashley will spend any money.

Newcastle striker target Mevlut Erding is close to completing a move to the club, according to reports.

The Turkish international forward has been courted by Magpies boss Alan Pardew all summer, with the former West Ham boss confirming the 24-year-old is on the club's radar. TalkSPORT claims the player is the club's number one target.

"Erding has always been on our radar - he's a very good player but that is all I will say at the moment, " said the Toon manager.

"We are working extremely hard to make deals happen and I'm pretty happy with how things have gone [in the transfer window] so far."

Reports in France now claim Newcastle United are winning the race to land the PSG player, going on to state that a deal could even be finalised within the next few days.

The report comes just a day after Erding's agent, Pierre Frelot, told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle that his Ligue 1 clients would love the chance to play at St James' Park.

Also:
Charles N'Zogbia is said to prefer a move to Newcastle and as long as a fee can be agreed with Wigan then the deal will be on.
The Frenchman is certain to leave the DW Stadium this summer after Latics chairman Dave Whelan revealed he can go at the right price and a return to Newcastle is the player's preferred option.
Sunderland, Aston Villa and Tottenham are among the clubs who are keen but a source close to N'Zogbia has been quoted as saying Newcastle is the place to be.
N'Zogbia wants to link up with fellow Frenchmen Yohan Cabaye, Demba Ba and Sylvain Marveaux and the source also says the wage situation will not be a problem.
"Charles is still on holiday in the States, " the source revealed to the Chronicle.
"But he would be delighted to come back and complete a move to Newcastle.

I don't see why smith doesn't just accept a lower wage and go to leeds. Surely he has enough money by now and would want to actually play some games for the last few years of his career rather than sit on the bench.

Exactly, I'm pretty depressed by it and I knew Alan very well at Leeds, whether he's been brain washed over the years PR his agents turned his head I don't know, but the Al I knew at Leeds would bite our hands off. To be fair though, Al's still in Florida til the weekend and I've heard nothing from him or the agent in person out of these stories so roll on July 1st!

Alan Pardew has been told to get rid of the high earners before he can bring in more players, the likes of Barton, Enrique, Colo, Tiote, Jonas, Taylor will be moving before the end of the transfer window and will be replaced with the national french schoolboys team as there wages are much cheaper, £5 pocket money a week to buy their premier league stickers for their Sticker album should seal the deals.

I would put money on it with any of u right now that we sign one of the following players; nolan roux, baftembi gomis, kolbein sigthorsson, danny welbeck. You may laugh or not believe but lets see who wants to take me up on it. . . . . . . . .double or nothing says one will be given the no 9 shirt, treble says we don't sign nzogbia or erding. Why?? Lets read between the lines, everyone were signing we either arent linked with or were linked with at some point in the past, suggesting a)club keeps cards close to there chest b)we scout our targets for long periods therefore think back to this time last yr, the yr b4 that or even the one b4, the players we were linked with then is probably the players we will sign (tiote was looked at for 4yrs b4 signing him) players were heavily linked with we don't sign (gameiro, gervinho to name just 2, smoke screens perhaps?) we all no we will not be paying stupid wages or transfer fees as this lowers players re-sale value therefore 12mil nd 60-70k pw for nzogbia? Think not. Graham carr has spent the bulk of the last yr in france so it makes sense to presume the bulk of our targets will be from french leagues. Now you may say im wrong etc and who knows i may well be, but all i ask is keep this post in your mind come end of transfer window, if im wrong about the players above i will make a donation to the sbr foundation of 100pounds and send proof to this website for confirmation, you have my word.

Just another quick question if you don't mind, is it true that we are not interested in N'zogbia anymore? or are we just playing are cards close to are chest and trying to put off other suitors? {Ed001's Note - from what I can gather it is just a question of his wage demands, the offer has not been withdrawn as such, he just wants more money and it won't be given.}

I think the player will wait for his preferred destination of Liverpool to see if they make a bid (which is a possibility) and if they don't we could still see him lower his wage demands and make a return to Newcastle.}

I have a feeling he could end up at either liverpool(as u said) or aston villa as young has pretty much left and there is strong rumours about downing to liverpool so they will desperately need a couple of quality wingers. Also didn't mcleish nearly sign him when he was birmingham manager?
