I was at Fulham on Saturday, and we were pathetic in the second half, we were like Laruel and Hardy.
I honestly think Pardew is riding his luck and cannot take us any further. ashley has been even more fortunate and the pair of them alongside Lambias will make us the laughing stock of the premiership soon.
i would like to see us try to lure Hughes from QPR {yes I know he has just gone there] but we must be a better job ambition wise, but first let's get rid of the cockney mafia.

Just a few thoughts about transfers really...

Jan signings:
yanga-mbiwa (cb) - good, pacey, young defender
xheridan Shaqiri (a low chance of signing him i admit, but maybe worth a bid now before all the top clubs go for him in the summer, rumoured to be available for 12m)
Onouha (good, right back with a lot of pace)

Summer Signings
olivier Giroud (need a striekr to cover for 2013 African cup of nations)
Luuk de Jong (to be a top team you need 4 good options upfront, especially with 2 away in africa every other year)

This would add to the solid core of players we have now and possible allow us to compete for top 6, possibly top 4 depending on other teams buys

And why not? not sure why fans are so against ashley, we sold carroll for silly money (anyone would do that) and we sold other players who wouldn't sign contracts or who were negative influence.
Ashley has signed a lot of good players since the summer, i imagine we will bring in at least one more striker, probs in summer to play, and they wont act as just cover, they will compete with ba and cisse for a place, too much negativity at the club from so called fans who arent happy when we spend and arent happy when we dont

Giroud, de jong and shaquiri will all go to champiopns league teams cos like it or not we cant offer that so its still a backwards step for them! hopefully we can continue with our good season and push on next year but even still i cant see MA paying the money they would want in wages!

surprised we're not trying for nedum onuoha, £2.5m is a good price for him. i'm sure he'd rather come here than qpr.

Y are we not in for onouha from city. If qpr have bid £5m y can't we match it? He fits into the clubs transfer policy, and could become a top drawer player. I went to school with this lad( hulme grammar in Oldham) were he still holds the national school record for 100m. This lad is rapid and versatile, he just needs regular football.

Could it be possible that the reason we havent gone for this lad is due to the link he has with SAFC? id like to think not but i agree we should have gone in for him cos he is a real player with a good sound defensive ability and at 2.5 million he aint exactly too expensive! maybe his wage demands are high?
