Thats a team to put fear in the eyes of the opposition. It isn't far off our best group of players though Dessie

What do people think of the club's change of youth policy? We are now only bringing in under 21 players within a 2 mile radius of newcastle.

Define Newcastle (does it include Benton or Forrest Hall

In my opinion, makes no difference. Afterall the majority of the youth team is made up of local players and if the players existed then they'd come through.
It's probably a cost saving exercise.
We need to invest in coaches who can improve a youth player regardless of where that player is from.

Nice to know you think about me, even when I'm away on holiday, vida! The glass has to be topped up regularly, which under P45 is not happening, alas. However, the ten-match mark is approaching and that was my forecast for Ashley to act if results didn't improve.

Good to read you Vic my Glass is still in the cabinet
Lets hope we sneak a few points or rather fluke a few to keep the team in some conention to make the top 12 and that Ashley wakes up and stops trying to justify why we are struggling

Problem is that fluking a few half-decent results will keep P45 in the job. It's a bugger when you kind of want us to get a thrashing in the hope that Ashley wakes up sooner rather than later. Start of the season all the paper talk was that P45 had two games to save his job. The two cup wins may have saved him then, but three losses in a row now might just do the trick, do you think? Hate the idea of us struggling along till Xmas. I can see it now - De Jong gets fit ("like a new signing") a couple of decent results and suddenly it's halfway thru Jan and still no CF or CB and we're still in the mire.

Think we can get something this weekend only hope it's not a whacking.
I can here the excuses already which must be being scripted for January
And from snippetts written by the press office and Charnley about injuries to De Jong and not being able to get the CB we thought we would in time and everything under the sun except the real reason why we are stuggling will I think ensure we are rooted in the bottom 6.
