Does anyone know if we have made any official bids for anyone or is it all speculation? I seen moyes confirm an official improved offer for fabregas today and I'm thinking where is pardew or joke with these official statements.??

I've herd we have put a bid in for Gomis, but have not set any personal terms for him. Also we are going into talks later this week with QPR about Remy.

If big mike and joe can't persuade mike Harford to come to the toon what chance di we have in the transfer market

Some of you will complain about anything.

First you didn't want him, now you are complaining that he has not came.

Try 'supporting' your club.

How can you go from not wanting him to complaining that he hasn't come in?

Reports over the weekend suggested Millwall first team coach Harford had been offered a position at St James' Park, working alongside Joe Kinnear to improve the club's scouting network in the UK.

But it now appears that the move has fallen through, with tv saying Harford turned down Newcastle's offer.

It's thought Harford believed it was the wrong time to move to the club, but he hasn't ruled out a move to Tyneside in the future.


We can't even sign a scout from millwall and you lot think we are going to sign top class players. Wake up we are going no one or unheard of players while Ashley cashes in on Cisse and other players. Gomis going to Villa Remy to Spurs and Bent to Fulham. Who's next in the list not to come? And I don't even blame them our boardroom is a joke.

Just read on tv that Hamburg have made a £6mil bid for Jelavic. I know he doesn't really fit the age profile but he's younger than Bent and I'd much rather have Jelavic in the side. Worth £6-8mil surely?

Yes I agree with that - Bent is yesterdays man. Too slow, too old and too expensive.
