Havent posted for a while. Hope everyone is well.
Just wanted to say to some posters from other clubs who appear on here for some reason. We do not expect to be pushing for top 4 or to remain unbeaten. Weve had a great start, lucky at times ( everyone said that about Man Utd last season when they scored so many late goals), class at times, poor at times but always battled and dug in 100% for 90 mins, something we have lacked in previous seasons. The club is now being run properly, in great financial position, and alot of clubs are jealous of that. Good squad with good players fighting for positions. All points to a good season and prove alot of pundits/other supporters wrong about us. Still need that striker in, but at the rate were going, onwards and upwards. And yes, I am expecting a tanking off one of the Manc clubs. But I also expect us to tank a few clubs aswell. All good so far. Lets just hope that it continues. We all know how in the split of a second the club can self destruct!

I think to be fair we will be one of the few clubs in the governments standings about debt.

If Alan Pardew was an animal, he would be a dog. He has the persona of someone friendly, honorable and dependable, but really all he is thinking about is shagging next door. Yes, Alan Pardew prefers to play away than to be at home. He has reportedly had more affairs than the whole Chelsea football team.
Pards is one of two Premier League managers I’ve met in person. The date, 29th May 2004. The time, 9:00 AM. The location, Celtic Manor Hotel, West Ham’s base on the day of the play off final against Crystal Palace. My brother and I were sitting at the table when Pards came up to us, touched us on the shoulders and said “alright boys.” He was going to be my hero from that day on. He had so much to think about but he still had time to greet us. I was going to put a framed picture of Pards on the mantle piece; I was going to sing ‘there is only one Alan Pardew.’ He had a reputation of being good with young players. Probably because they had the best looking wives, but I was sure he was going to win us promotion. Pards was my Idol, that was until a few hours later when fat Neil Shipperley scored a toe poke and crushed West Ham’s hopes of promotion that year. Pards became a loser. It was his fault. He didn’t motivate the players. He was nearly my hero two years later when West Ham returned to Cardiff in the FA Cup Final. Pards nearly a West Ham legend again until Steven Gerrard scored a 35 yard screamer. Pards has been so close to brilliance a couple of times. He is a nearly man. If history is anything to go by he will probably finish second or third off bottom at the end of the season.
