Nope, if the eventual winner of fa cup (chelsea, spurs, pool) qualifies for europe through league position, the losing finalists take the place of the fa cup.

however, if 2 of the 3 teams mentioned above make it to the final and qualify for europe through league position, 7th will be enough to get europa league spot.

For sunderland to qualify they need to either win it or get to the final with their opponents already qualifying though league position. and as long as newcaslte or another unqualified team dont come 5th
for newcastle to qualify come 5th or the final of cup is between liverpool and totenham/chelsea

Well we've been above liverpool all season, they cant even get a decent run together, chelsea, i think we'll be above them come may, as long as we win our 'winable' games.

If sunderland get that european spot, you lot can't get into europe and can't see you finishing ahead of chelsea, arsenal or liverpool
