Shearers bar (no: 9) is being turned into a sports direct store within 1 year.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That's it, I'm done, I'm out

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not 54000 passing customers on a Saturday, sounds good business to me

Agree0 Disagree0

You won't get 54000 in the championship mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats what the club shop is for! Shearer is legend and disredpecting him is a slap in the face to all Toon fans! Ashley sell up and p. s off!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you will find whatever league Newcastle are in they will always have maximum support

Agree0 Disagree0

6th post agreed! best supported team in the country by a mile.

Agree0 Disagree0

'That's it, I'm done. ' Thank goodness, one less hysterical moaner on here.

A few weeks ago I was thinking "Right! Pardew is staying at Newcastle so let's get on with it and sign a couple of good players and fingers crossed we should have a good season. "

Now its like "What the hell is going to be in the paper when I wake up tomorrow. Who has put a transfer request in because kinnear has disrespected him?"

I too dream about a rich Arab buying the club and making us into a force in the Champions League. Hopefully it'll become reality soon.

Anyway, let's hope we have some good news in the paper tomorrow!

Geordie Al

Agreed mate, these days you just don't know. We are a great club, one of the biggest in the land and our fans deserve to see us challenging with the likes of spurs, liverpool, arsenal. Hopefully there's some arab, russian who will buyout ashley and make our dream come true, just hopefully.

Agree0 Disagree0

Geordie al, from what I make of it the papers have nothing to write about, safc have signed players nobody has heard of so what can they do tell a pack of lies, lamearse has gone as he was useless and didn't buy in the summer and nearly got us relegated, kinnear might just surprise people let them laugh, he who laughs last laughs longest

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems to me Newcastle are playing there cards very close to there chest

Newcastle don't have a bad first team. Just need two players. One left-winger and one centre-mid. I would be happy with the following this year.

Krul
Taylor. Colocini
Mbiwa. Santon
Tiote/Anita
Cabaye. .
Ben Arfa. .
Cisse.

We need a centre mid that can pass and is comfortable on the ball, would like Verratti. And the left-winger would be Ince or Bernard.

Any one else agree?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sissoko for cenre mid

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think we need a cm. I think we need a cd rb lw and st. we can't go another season having 1 striker and shola! sell shola, give adam Campbell a chance and sign a 10-15mil striker! can't see it happening though

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we desperately need another striker and feel we already have plenty center-mid players.

Agree about needing a winger though since only Ben Arfa is able to produce chances to score goals. I'd keep Guti as a squad player since he is versatile and can fill in a couple of positions should we need it. Don't want to see Obertan playing anymore and for me Sammy is still unproven and could do with another season at Borough.

Agree0 Disagree0

No more central midfielders!

How many do we need?

First and foremost we need a striker.

Cabaye
Sissoko
Tiote
Anita
Bigirimana

That is 5 by my count, and we have other players that can play in the position, Marveaux etc.

Considering Gouffran is being used on the left and Shola is useless we only have ONE senior striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know we have a lot of centre-mids already but none of them can pass other than Cabaye. Bigirimana looks good for the future but am undecided over Sissoko, he looked good when he first signed but after the first 4 games was very poor. Verratti is the next Pirlo and how good has he been for the past 7 to 8 years.

As for strikers, I like Gouffran but you can only play two up front in home games when you have a lot of possession, away from home you have to pack the midfield then hope the two wingers and the one front man can deliver. So at home play Cisse and Gouffran or Campbell.

Good possession is the key to creating chances and not many of our players are good in possession.

Please, please, please go for Bernard. He look amazing from what I've seen so far. Am sure 10 to 15 mil would get him.
As for Verratti, he's probs out of our reach price wise and us not being in Europe.
We are never going to get a good enough striker in with us not being in Europe. They can all just go the Russia for loads of cash, get paid loads and player in an average league. Easy life.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mackem in peace but really what makes you think that cabaye, ben arfa and cisse are staying?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sissoko is brilliant, he just needs to be coached correctly.

It's not Sissoko's fault he has been told to play in behind Cisse and make runs with the ball.

He just needs to play deeper and be told not to galavant too far forward without support - which should not be a problem if he plays from deeper anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabs and benny I can see staying, cisse not so sure

Agree0 Disagree0

Sissoko is far from brilliant, can run with the ball then doesn't know what to do, poor signing along with a lot of the players you signed, all of which none of you had heard of before you signed them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sissoko is a poor signing? Lol go back to your site and talk about how good a signing Graham was, as for not knowing the players we signed so none of us saw Debuchy in the World Cup? Most football fans with a tv or the Internet knew about Yanga-M'biwa, Gouffran played against us in the Europa league and had previously been linked with us and if anyone hadn't heard of Sissoko before we signed him then they must live under a rock.
However I'm sure you knew all about Players like Roberge and Karlsson before you signed them I bet you were talking about getting them before Di Canio even took over, weren't you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Sunderland wired up for T'interweb?

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on most of the posters on here have said he was a 2 game wonder and that's your own fans, debuchy is W### totally overrated cause he played well in a few games at the WC, no I don't think many people heard of mbiya, yeh I have tv and internet but I don't watch You Tube.

Agree0 Disagree0

Slagging off players who have played less than half a season in the PL. We have seen this before with Colo and Jose. Give them time they will come good. Why are the mackems always talking about our players? Go on there page and we are all they talk about. Thought you lot would be talking about all these superstar players you have signed? Oh, wait you haven't.

Agree0 Disagree0

Most fans said he was not a CAM and wanted him moved into a deeper role, Debuchy has had a poor start but I'm confident he'll come good next season just like Colo and Enrique did and as for Yanga-M'biwa most football fans watch Champions league football and he was playing in the competition for Montpellier before signing for us.

All this cr*p with kinnear is just slowing the teams progress. We are going to end up buying bad players in the last week of the transfer window unless they get their finger out. There are loads of great players out there that would easily get into the newcastle first who are available at the right price. Just get out into the market and get players signed. Are brilliant young brazilians available be we are never linked with them. Look at Oscar for Chelsea, these are the type of players we should be looking at before the get snapped up by one on the euro giants.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How do we know nothing is happening? Before the signings came in in January there was little noise until the deals were just about done. The transfer window doesn't open until July 1st so maybe we are waiting until then to make any announcements

Agree0 Disagree0

Too much going on else where in the club instead of everyone concentrating on bring in the required new players.

Pardew and Carrs attentions have been turned to Kinnear and not where they should be. Getting new signings.

Agree0 Disagree0

Err how much did oscar cost?

Agree0 Disagree0

So long as Joe signs Tom Mince and Boombangabang I'll be happy.
