How do we accommodate Miti, Gini, SDJ, Sissoko and another striker in the side?

4-1-3-2?

Janmaat?? Haidara

GingerPirlo

Sissoko SDJ Wijnaldum

Miti ?

the formation will be 4-2-3-1 I reckon as that's what we've played in pre season.

Krul

Janmaat Mbemba *New signing* Haidara

Wijnaldum Colback

Sissoko De Jong Perez/Aarons/*New signing*

Mitrovic/*New signing*

if we do play 2 strikers then I hope its like a narrow diamond

I'd love us to get Lacazette but if we would not pay £15m last season what makes anyone think we will spend £35m now?

We need to strengthen the defence first before any glory signings. Taylor should get a new contract but we still need 2 new CB's.

All that said if we made a marquee signing then it would be easier to tempt others to come.

with players going for 50m now Lacazette could still have good resale potential

It does sound highly unlikely but the dynamics have changed and maybe ashley sees that speculating on small cap is a high risk strategy ie Cabella and de jong.

Given the impact a marquee signing would have on season ticket sales and positive exposure for sports direct then maybe Ashley could see it as a good move.

Global brand recognition will only come by signing top players. Chelsea and Man cIty have gone from 0 to top 10 global football brands in a very short space of time. If the club is successful I would expect sports direct to be shirt sponsors in the next season. I'd imagine Donay will make the kits too so Sports direct would have distribution and manufacturing stitched up

Makes sense to me Des, but Ashley could have been doing this since he bought the club.
