Just wondering how many of your players could get in Sunderland's team now Stevie boy ?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

All if them even Williamson
We spent nothin yet & only 7 points behind

Agree2 Disagree6

Aye but only if you want to be relegated ! Get ya stamps out Stevie !

Agree4 Disagree0

Not so long ago I seem to remember a lot of crowing on this site about being 5 points clear of Sunderland.
Lol.

Jeez.

Agree3 Disagree0

Only seven? that's a lot actually man city and mkan you are 5 points a head and they both think that's a big gap stop being biased and admit your team is crap and your going down

After reading Shola's comments in the Chron tonight, regarding the players giving their all on Saturday. I wish he could have an out of body experiance and watch himself play. He is a Geordie and you would expect him to work twice as hard as anyone else for the team he loves ?? and not be an absolute lazy so and so.Bust a gut, Break into a Sweat run about that much you need to be taken off with cramp then I will believe that you gave your all.(Q4)

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Q4, do you not think that if fans like yourself were to give the players backing instead of booing (do you actually go to games or are you an internet supporter, that doesn't actually see what is going on, on the pitch!!) that they would perform to their optimum. Ameobi has been a loyal servant to this club and gives his all, as for not are you refering to the 39th minute against Reading when he didn't run his heart out to get back to the half way line?!?!? If so, that is so narrow minded, have you forgot his goals against the likes of Barcelona, or are you a good time come lately fan? Or are you a Cockney Mafia out because of AP and Ashley. Just remember where this club was before Ashley took over, he has put this club on a financial stable footing. If I am totally honest I blame it all on Keegan and taking this club to heights that were never known possible.

Agree0 Disagree4

You are backing Shola and having a go at Keegan?
You've got serious problems mate.

Agree4 Disagree1

He's got a degenerative hip problem and can only train a couple of times a week I think. Eds may know for sure? though.Anyway don't know if that's what effects his pace like. {Ed001's Note - he certainly does have some issue, I can't remember off the top of my head what, but I remember some insurance issue over it.}

Right, let pardew get his signings in then give him till end of february, start of march. If we don't start picking up results, sack him and get one of these managers in. Don't want to sack pardew mid-transfer window. Either way, we want a manager who can get any team playing nice football and can get the best out of average players and can motivate them to come from behind to win. (1 being my favourite, 4 being least favourite)
1) Laurent Blanc: Plays really nice football and would take us to the next level but can't see him quitting france for a save from relegation job.
2) Roberto Martinez: Could bring the spanish way to the north east but would probs take a bit of time for him, could be a likely candidate.
3) Nigel Adkins: A motivating manager, who can get an average team playing decent, attractive football that tore us apart. A manager who could give us those buzzing 4-0, 5-0 wins, but again it would take him a bit of time.
4) Roberto Di Matteo: From the previous clubs i've seen him manage, I haven't seen the most attractive football although he does know the right tactics to put up against any side.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

4 good choices can we have one now please

Agree0 Disagree1

Why not Mourinho?
He'd be up for the challenge I'm sure.
Problem is he wouldn't expect to pay fifty quid and a packet of Quavers for a top class player.
No doubt we'd hear all the 'star' names put forward like Jewell, Kinnear (God forbid), O'Leary, Megson, Curbishley etc. etc.
That's all Ashley could hope to attract.

Agree0 Disagree2

Blanc isn't France manager.

Had to laugh at Shearer giving Pardew tactical advice on MOTD. Say what you want about Pardew (imo he hasn't gone from being a good manager to a bad one overnight) but at least he's not Alan Shearer.

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Laugh at shearer your the joke mate since when was pardew a good manager he is a puppet with average skills who hit lucky last year he has a good personality but that's it he should be a spin doctor for the government

Agree5 Disagree2

What do you mean overnight?

Have Newcastle just lost 1 game?

This has been going on all season.

We only beat Tottenham on the first day of the season by hanging on for dear life, they ripped us apart. (Imagine if we didn't have those points, points we did not deserve)

Not sure how people are feeling but think every player we try and sign a player one of the london clubs nips in and steals the player. If we carry on the way we are we are certain for the drop not good at all

Believable2 Unbelievable0

For goodness' sake, it's only happened once! And didn't we pinch Marveaux? And Gosling?

Agree1 Disagree2

And didn't we do really well on those two?

Is there any truth in Danny Graham rumours?

Coloccini meeting today would prob mean lambias, charnley et al are back in newcastle, hopefully sort out colo to stay till end of season and then wrap up mbiwa and haidara tomorrow, then move on to strikers from wednesday.

gouffran bid turned down £750K still penny pinching when are we going to wake up bidding on the cheap for a player who has only scored 30 goal in five !! wake up ashley get bent graham mbiwa haidara and sissoko that's a real transfer window and would show fans you really mean business £22 million less the £7 million for ba net window only £15 million which should have been spent last summer !!!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Goufrann can play on the left and we will be able to get him for around a million, 8 in 20 in the league and 4 in 5 in europa so go for him and Bent I say!

Agree3 Disagree1

Ba pocketed £2m of that £7m.

Agree4 Disagree0

Apparently Chelsea paid a bit extra for his representatives.

Sounds like we could be chartering a flight from france at this rate. Just imagine it being like cartoons old, bits falling off and noisy. Ashleys attempt at cost cutting.

Do qpr have a scouting network or do they just follow Graham Carr about?

Believable6 Unbelievable0

To quote Harry after Remy signing:
"Graham Carr recommended him so he must be good".

Agree2 Disagree0

Agents put it about to every club

Liike to see Ricky lambert, Daren Bent and Charles Nzogbia Sissoco and Mbia, in the comming week, I think they woud save us, forget sacking the manager its to late.

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Every one there sounds good except charlie insomnia....k

Agree2 Disagree0

When did lambert become this top striker? He's no had a bad season but for me he's not been anywhere near a top half striker.

As per the press the deadline set for Colo to sign for San Lorenzois is apparently today.

IF Colo is here tomorrow does this mean his has no other choice but to stay because San Lorenzios have other options?

Personal Problems and off the filed family issues is unfortunate however a 10 Million Pound transfer fee and something like 75 grand a week wages does not just get pushed under the table.

San Lorenzios should be sued for tapping up a player or is this now legal (Or in other Words the Harry Rednap Method)??

Colo should be loyal. He knows what and where we are and the fact that we need him at the moment should hopefully play in our favour.

The sooner we get williamson off the pitch the better. His positional play is awful and I can honestly say him being out of position and his lack of pace and awareness has cost newcastle more than half there goals this season.

If you look at the replays, most of the goals scored are from the right side of central defense. Williamson gets beat time and time again and overall his season has been the worst do far, second to Tiote's.

GUTI needs to be released, San Lorenzois please ask for a FREE Transfer for him, he lack of creativity and constant lack of crossing and passing ability is shocking.

Year by year he has been getting worse and sticking him in the middle at Reading for a 3 man midfield was a shocking decision.

For me this will hopefully be the team at the end of January

Krul,

Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Colo, Santon

Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Cabaye, Marveaux

Cisse, Aubameyang

Lee clark to come back as manager

Believable6 Unbelievable5

I would have a partnership of Shearer and lee Clark. with those 2 in charge we might get to be first match on match of the day

Agree2 Disagree3

If Shearer comes in as manager that's me not going egomaniac and clueless manager

Agree4 Disagree2

Shearer is the man to get us out of this mess next year he could lead us to Europe.

Jose mourinho always says he likes a challenge

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Would be a good choice but he likes his own way and plenty of money to spend can't see him getting that lads

Agree1 Disagree0

Such a big ego and tendency to throw toys out of pram.
but a part of me hopes he would one day come along to finish the work of the late great SBR.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ashley to sell up in the summer that's why he won't spend now. He will invest in rangers to make more money

Believable5 Unbelievable4

21 Jan 2013 07:07:45
You lot finished 5 last season, a point above Chelsea and 4 points off fourth place... Now, with pretty much the same team, you're in a relegation scrap

Football is a cruel mistress indeed ...

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I would agree with that but due to injury and a lack of support from the owner we have slipped in to this position.

Agree7 Disagree2

Many people will disgree but we are as good as everton I think only Fellani, Jag Baines and Pienaar would get into our team. It would be like Krul Debuchy Colo Jag Banes Tiote Fellani Cabaye Pienaar Ben Arfa Cisse

Agree1 Disagree1

Look at montpellier in france won the league last year

Agree0 Disagree0

With our strongest 11 we can give anyone in the league a game. Which was proved last season. Its the under belly where we are weak. This is totally Ashley fault for gambling that we could do it again with 1 senior player bought in the summer.

Agree3 Disagree2

I don't think Ashley is to blame (well, not directly). He put in Llambias and Charnley to run the club and Pardew to coach the team, and a good boss lets his chosen men get on with it. Ashley isn't a football man and it's not his place to tell Llambias and Pardew how to do their jobs. He's let them have good run at it, but even allowing for bad luck with injuries they've let him down. My feeling is that he should get the window over and done with then lay down an ultimatum to them both - get some results quick or on yer bikes!

Agree1 Disagree0

Smb we have had the worst injurys possible but come the day soon we will be restored as top dogs so enjoy life through your rose specks ha ha ha

Agree0 Disagree1

I'd take Jelavic for Cisse right now

Agree0 Disagree0

Other teams, even M.U. suffer from injuries. Over performed last season.
True position now.
Wonder what clauses will be in their contracts if anyone decides to join you instead of a club that is not in such obvious chaos and in dire straits in terms of relegation.
What great fixtures coming up.
Are you all looking forward to them?

Jeez.

Jeez.

Mbiwa off to Arsenal after Gooners match our bid....

FFS why can't we keep our transfers private like Cisse's transfer and announce it when he's actually agreed terms and taking the medical.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Do you really think that Mbiwa agent has not sold his client all over Europe or to anyone who will listen as soon as he found out he is available for sale. The only reasons that will stop us getting him is his wages and obviously Arsenal are in Europe and will be next season.

Agree5 Disagree0

Russian team fav to sign him will def go there as they pay silly wages

Everyone callng for Pardew to go and doing all the booing at the game yesterday. It needs to stop. Can we not remember the embarrassing situation at Blackburn last year? The fans/crowd antic really didn't help the team.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

We only bood his personic subs! Someone has to let him know. His subs have been crap for two years. When did they last change a game like Sir Bobbys? Hopefully he'll realise they are poor and predictable and stop. He has the power to stop the booing by being less of a moron!

Agree4 Disagree0

SO are we just suppose to sit there while he gets it wrong and the fat git laughs our money all the way to his bank?? The more we go and sit like sheep the less likely something will done.

Agree5 Disagree0

I think you have totally got the wrong end of the stick with the Blackburn situation, it was not the fans got them sent down.

Do you think looking back now that the Venkys do not wish they had listening to the fans earlier?

The Blackburn fans were right and were crying out to save their club.

Agree0 Disagree0

When did the subs last save a game? how about Demba Ba earlier in the season when he scored 2 goals?

Agree0 Disagree0

Some would say the Ba sub earlier in the season was him simply bottling the attempt at keeping Cisse alone up front. More fixing a mistake
