In terms of the first half, we set up superbly and pardew got the tactics spot on. It was a 4231/433 with two holding midfielders and a free role. A lot of people were surprised with Ben Arfa playing in the "false 9" role which I thought he was brilliant at, but this is the beauty of the formation we played. In parts of the first half, the front 3 rotated, remy played up top once and so did Gouffran. This would of carried on through the game if Mbiwa hadn't got sent off, and I reckon we would of won. Anyway Dummett was excellent at centre back, him and Williamson should start against the if Taylor or colo isn't back. I also thought debuchy and santon had their best performances this season so far.

Lineup for derby (presuming colo and Taylor both injured)

Krul

Debuchy Williamson Dummett Santon

Sissoko Tiote

Ben Arfa Cabaye Gouffran

Remy

Sissoko and Cabaye will also rotate positions I think.
Howay the lads!

Looks about right to me, but I would push Sissoko a bit further forward. I think Tiote looked good yesterday because it was not so congested in that area of the pitch he likes to bully. I do not think Tiote needs a defensive midfield partner, he seems to cover that zone much better on his own.

Remember, the derby is a real banana skin for us that we must not slip up on. Things are different this year because:
1) we now have a whole week to prepare for the game whereas we had benfica midweek in the 3-0 loss.
2) Mackems defence is shambles, out front three of gouffy, benny and remy SHOULD tear them apart.

but remember poyet will have them motivated. even though he is probably just another di canio, we can't get complacent or go a man down and must stick to our gameplan.
