A couple of players at spurs that are struggling to get playing time are Dembele and Paulinho.

Would have them both.

Paulinho would probs cost too much but Dembele could be available a g good price.

Yes, these 2 would be very good signings but ill say it again the problem is the manager. Look at Sissoko in his first weeks at newcastle and look at him now. the Swansea match was aporling. Our 2 best players were Debuchy and Armstrong who were both subs! i'm refusing to go to the home match at Cardiff even though I have a season ticket in protest.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Pardew is the greatest but I feel it is more down to the players.

When Cabeye was here we looked a good team but now it's just luck if we create a chance to score.

It's Ashley and Kinears fault we are so bad due to not replacing Cabeye with another creative player. Lyon are now saying that Grenier will not leave at the end of the season and are a lot of other team that are in Europe after Cabella. We have lost out on the opportunity to get 2 creative players.

If the midfield was good in possession the defence would be under less pressure and Cisse and Remy would score loads because of their creativity.

All of our midfield is average at best.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew should never have based the team around 1 player in Cabaye which is why he had no plan b or c. Everton had Lukaku out for nearly two months and they knew how they had to work without him.

There's rumours saying that a bunch of texans are going to buy villa, when are we going to have this sort of news

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think they were talking about Pancho Villa

Get that person out of our club. One of the worst runs of form I have ever seen (anywhere). We were more capable of picking up points in our relegation season. Thankfully we have the points already on the board to be safe of relegation for this season.

Absolutely no idea tactially what he is doing. No man management skills at all. No emotional ties, and after this length of time at the club, he should have. No willingness to play anything other than hoofball to Ameobi and De Jong.

What happens next term? We bring in average players, nowhere near the quality we need or should be chasing. It will be the "we couldn't get them over the line" as always. Remy is never a realistic target now, the club should have had a £6m or £8m buy clause in the contract. Now his value is double that, and MA won't spend that in one window, never mind on one player.

Lacazette? Grenier? Cabella? Richards? If we bring them in, I will be happy, but I ain't holding my breath.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Under Alan pardew we will not be seeing any of those types of flair players, we will only see the Gutierrez type.

Agree0 Disagree0

What you on about Pardew is exactly the manager The Hopeless One wants do what your told & don't complain
Stuck with him I'm afraid

So Alan, you would have stopped Swansea scoring yesterday if you had been on the touchline!.
That raises a number of issues.
Who's fault was it you were banned, don't go round headbutting the opposition.
Headbutting the Swansea players would have been the only way to stop the goal as they tore through our weak, spineless defence.
If you think that could have been influenced from touchline, then that says volumes about the ability of your coaching staff and especially your number 2.
You were not even in your seat when they scored Both goals.

YOU Mr Pardew talk the biggest load of crap I have ever heard Why can you not be honest and say it like it is. We have a poor team, there is no character, leadership, fight and precious little skill. Swansea played football, fast accurate passes, on the ground and balls to feet.
We hoof the ball and run.

Sunday papers reporting Ashley wants Pullis as manager next season. At least then we would play EFFECTIVE long ball football. Anything is better than that crap yesterday.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Firstly, pullis. Would be a good choice. But FORGET all this stigma attached to his style of play, he plays a system best suited to the players he has at his disposal, great effect at Stoke, now when was the last time anyone here watched palace? Because they play good football, but also tight defence unit, players he has suited that that. GOOD management, spends hrs and hrs drilling his players, would rattle a few cages here with great effect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Geez desperate or what Pullis should stay where he is he is not for Newcastle & any manager that may come to NUFC (Pardew will be there until the end) must be absolutely desperate to work under The Hopless One's constraints
The Hopless One knew when he bought NUFC how fickle and accept anything Newcastle fans are yesterday's turn out proved that

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Art, How can you call Newcastle fans fickle because they turn out to support their team. I go, good times and bad, but does not mean I am happy to accept what is going on at present.
I also agree with the other posting, Pullis does have strong defences and coaches the whole team to function as a unit, much better than Pardew ever has.

Agree0 Disagree0

SOS- perhaps not fickle, but Art's right about 51,000 turning out to watch a fifth successive shambles. These fans are part of the problem, but it looks as if they're willing to put up with obvious, predictable rubbish week in, week out. Since the start of this year Pardew's excuses have got more ridiculous, his team selection more unintelligent and his forecast of summer rebuilding less and less believable. Well he doesn't fool me anymore. I admire your loyalty, but until you and other 'loyal' fans stay away, you can kiss goodbye to any hope of lasting improvement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple that is exactly what the the Hopeless One knew when he bought the club FICKLE means we complain a lot and threaten a lot and do FA about it.
Pullis is OK there are 20 other managers that could make a difference at NUFC unfortunately we will not see any

Players realise the hopelessness and it shows so You just Keep going to matches that's your choice but it plays right in to the Hopeless Ones hands
so expect NO changes now or in the future

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree SOS but I do not want players like Jonathan Walters and Peter Crouch at newcastle, I want players like Hatem Ben Arfa and David Ginola.

Agree0 Disagree0

The sad fact is Ashley does not care about or need the crowd. Ticket sales are not important for income otherwise he would not have frozen prices for ten years like the deal I signed up to. He makes his money from TY revenue and selling our best players and not using the money to replace them.
Staying away is just a protest but he is so thick skinned it will have little effect.

I go to matches but I do not spend a penny in the ground nor do I buy any merchandise. I do not buy from his shops and I long for the day he sells OUR club. But till he finds a buyer who will pay what he wants we can make as much noise as we want, it will have no effect

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus christ pulls would hardly be an upgrade to pardew. He was sacked at stoke because of his anti-football style. Yes he's a good astute manager, and knows how to adapt his players to his tactics (something pardew can't do) and made the britannia an absolute fortress (again something pardew can't do) But he is not suited to a club like newcastle where we used to be known as everyone's second team with our free flowing attacking football.

We need a top, young and modern manager in the martinez/rodgers style.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree SOS but I do not want players like Jonathan Walters and Peter Crouch at newcastle, I want players like Hatem Ben Arfa and David Ginola.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a lot you can do then just go and suffer Just remember how you thought it was going to be when you bought your ticket then report them to the trades and description dept

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure where you are going with that comment Art. I have had my season ticket for over 35 years and I paid at the gate for over ten years before that.

I have seen Bill McGary, Willie McFaul and Graham Souness - all crap managers and I put Pardew in the same bracket.

I don't support the regime, I support the team. If I thought I could oust Ashley by staying away I would.

I take it you don't go to games, that is your choice but don't go bad mouthing loyal fans who do

Agree0 Disagree0

Me too but I give my tickets away not because I can afford to but because I am sick of watching the same week in week out with the most feeble excuses by Ashley's media machine and his Muppet other manager Pardew Newcastle United are in the premiership

I have like many fans have woken up
So if you feel you have to go to the matches and be served crap week in week out that is your choice But unless you grasp the nettle you just entrench Ashley deeper and have to accept every dad move he makes. FICKLE say everything but do nothing That is where we started is it not

Agree0 Disagree0

So Art, MANY fans like you have woken up? What was the crowd on Saturday?

52,000 who just do not happen to agree with you that staying away will change things, I wish it would

Agree0 Disagree0

SOS: nobody knows how many fans have lost the will to attend- I've stood in many a 60,000+ crowd at SJP but I'm not going back any time soon. Art's point makes sense to me - what sort of person goes on putting themselves through predictable punishment week after week, when there's nothing to play for? There is a word for them but Ed usually deletes it!

Agree0 Disagree0

The word is loyal

Agree0 Disagree0

I assure you, that was not the word I had in mind.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is Loyalty & Blind Loyalty

Who are being Loyal to SOS?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who are being Loyal to SOS?

What does that mean.

In addition to Blind Loyalty there is also Sheer Stupidity, and after your comments last night (that I am pleased to see Ed pulled) we know which camp you fall into
