i dont think signing a centre forward is the answer we have those already we need a left sided winger come striker, i dont know the european leagues that well but someone in the mould of david villa would be great, hes available as well, swansea apparently interested, dont know if there would be any fee , yes i know hes old and on big money but hed give us great balance and a forward line to scare any prem defence...del

Yes a left winger would be good but i guy like remy or odemwingie who can play CF, LW or RW would be better, so if we don't get a striker, and demba ba leaves, what you gonna do if cisse gets injured with ameobi?......Thats what i thought.

Why does people keep on saying we haved signed Debuchy, its not a done deal yet. I first believe that we have signed Debuchy when i see him in Newcastle shirt!

in a normal transfer window newcastle keep the news on transfers very tight ...the staff have been warned a number of times to keep there mouths shut... but this window every day somebody feeds a bit of news to the press or a friend so it gets out there WHY...

If or should i say when Ba goes, id rather a small nippy striker than a big long ball target striker. Carroll is our past and should stay like that. Cisse no1 striker with Remy/Gameiro/ alongside him.

We are starting to pass the ball around alot more now the last thing we want is a target man. I think most fans want too see a 4-3-3 formation with Cisse through the middle and Carroll wouldn't fit into that.

newcastle wont want to fork out £10m on a replacement to find Ba's stuck with us at end of January.
Remember, there's a budget and wage structure at the club.
He's trying to get Ba to make his decision quick so he can act accordingly. That's why he's openly been discussing the clause for a few months now, if he doesn't sign a new contract Newcastle need to move him on and get on.
