just been looking at chelsea forum, the fans writing on there are ***ting themselves over the game this weekenda couple fancy a draw,the rest think we will do them. Chelsea fan here,yeah mate we are brekin it.how are we going to beat newcastle.We may be lacking a bit of form and confidence with an aging squad but Newcastles form is temporary Chelsea's class is permanent.

Serious question geordies do you honestly believe you will finish top 6 or even dare I say it 4?I mean you do realise your in good form and form is what it is.

I don't understand all these questions about where we think we are going to finish. Yes it is unrealistic for us to hope for top 4 or 6. But since when has sports or supporting a team been about hoping for the worst? I could sit here and say its just as much as a long shot that Chelsea win the league or the champions league. But i am sure that wont stop their supporters hoping that it happens. No one cheers for any side hoping for an average season. Yes we know the odds, but again thats the point of cheering for a team....hoping for the best against all odds. So as i see it we are in the same boat, no one is picking Newcastle or Chelsea to do what we hoped/want our sides to do this year. But that won't stop us praying they prove people wrong.
