Would people want Carroll back if we could get him on the cheap?

No. He does not suit our style of play.

Nah. he tried to cheat his hometown club. although he couldve easily scored but chose to dive ha

He xant play on the wing and hes not gunna take cisses spot so no.

If Ba left, I would have him back. He won't be someone who scores 20 a season but, he olds up the ball very well and brings others into play. might be perfect for Cisse who likes to head the attack.

Carroll would stick his head in the danger zone for the Toon.

However at Liverpool he does not seem to want to take the pain from keepers fists etc. Also, Liverpool do not have any one who can cross a ball hence his lack of goals... stick in a few floaters for the big man and he would score goals again, not like these fizzed ball the lad has to get his head on.

He would put his body on the line for the team he loves and would give 100%... Id take hime back 7 mil - massive pay cut too!

Nope definitely not we have a great front three that play good football why spoil that by bringing him back and go back to playing hoofball?

Shouldn't he put his body on the line for the team that lays his MASSIVE salary though, if a players just gonna decide not to be good just because he's unhappy at any given time then I definitely don't want him. They need to e reminded they have a job that pretty much every male has wanted at some point an it should be an honor playing wherever u are! Even Sunderland ......

All I was saying was that Carroll would have done the same for the Toon when he played for us. At the end of the day all Toon fans have to say they were gutted that he left even for the massive amount of money and they were all slating MA for selling him.

If Caroll was banging in the goals no one would have said anything... Liverpool fans would have been happy, and Newcastle fans would have been happy too, 35 mil and one of our boys doing well. Also mooted talk of his return would have been relished.

Look a Torres at Chelsea, the lad cant hit a cows a$$ with a banjo, but I dont hear the Chelsea fans booing and moaning.

Carroll will come good once he finds his mojo again, maybe it will be on loan next season at Fulham or somewhere. Then we will see what happens

If we had two really good wingers who could actually cross well then I would have Carroll back in a heartbeat as we coul;d revert to 442 when the need arose .Don't forget Cisse and BA and Tiote away for the ACON again in 2013.

great win today, we should aim for an unbeaten april and could find ourselves with 6th cemented and in with a chance of 5th.

Tbh 6th is cemented now.

6pts needed as i can see everton winning 5 out of their remaining games

Excellent display, see what happens when we let teams Worry about OUR players. Murdered them and just wishing we could have notched another couple. Well Carroll and Enrique left us for champions league? They won a cup no-one wants and i would LOVE IT, just LOVE IT if we nicked 4th,and why not,we are on fire at moment and both Chelsea and Spurs are having a blip. {Ed001's Note - Newcastle were excellent today, by far and away the better side, well done.}

I would swap 6th for the league cup....

Top draw today lads. Quality from 1to 11. Special mention to Perch and Willo defended like warriors. Europe is a must!! HWTL.

Was a little nervous coming into this game about those 2. With Perch not used to center half and williamson in poor form i figured that Liverpool would be scoring a few and we'd need the front 3 to be on top form to cancel out any goals they scored but credit to both as they've made me eat my words. Brilliant defending from both. Was really disappointed Williamson's header hit the post as I think a goal would do wonders for his confidence.
