Here's a question.

What is your favourite Newcastle home kit from the last 10 years up till now. Mine I think is the 03/04 one!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The one they got relegated in lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

This seasons if no wonga

A slow news day obviously, but personaly I like the one with the blue Northern Rock logo on - don't know what year it was but I think it was the one in the film Goal (or was that the gold one - blue was better though)?

Over all, I much prefer the shirt with the big Beer Mat right in the middle, round neck - still got it (long sleaves variant) and still wear it (I was clever, bought two sizes bigger size than I was then and it fits grand)

As for the new shirts, I would not be seen dead in them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not from the last 10 years bt mines got to be the one wit the huge blue star wit the silhouette of the tyne bridge on it. loved it backin the day and love it now

Agree0 Disagree0

The purple one

Banana strip from Championship season

Agree0 Disagree0

Liked the one with the sheild on back we wore in cup final against Man U

Question for JToon, are you still trying to get a protest organised or was it all a load of tripe and bravado, its just that you post so regularly, but have not mentioned protests for a couple of weeks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Greenales 1

Agree0 Disagree0

The Banana strip? Two shades of puke yellow? - you have to be joking man!

Agree0 Disagree0

The one we finished 5th. With virgin logo on! Or the burgundy and navy hoops with cream shorts and grandad collar, now that was a strip!

Agree0 Disagree0

The Newcastle brown ale top that had a collar. It could have been 93, there abouts.

I was not willing to accept the excuse of playing European games last season as being to blame for our lack of form in the league.

Swansea have been a class act in Europe this season, but look at them in the league table.

We have an extra 5 first team players on this time last year, no extra European games, and this time last year we were playing as the 5th best team in England.

Something to be optimistic about I'd say.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I could of guessed yous were going to say that haha yous wanted ap and ma out two games ago, and now blaming europe for your bad season loooool don't tell me, yous have won two games and now love pardew and your fighting for top 6 haha yous make me laugh two faced mags! As per usual.

Agree0 Disagree0

2 faced mags, really? I think you ll find it hard to find a Newcastle fan who wants Pardew, JK or Ashley at the club. I would say a better example of 2 faced is you lot calling for PDC head when your 4 games in. Thought he the messiah sent to lead you lot to the promised land. Your back must be hurting propping the table.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who said we wanted pardew out? We're pleased with what we're watching from Newcastle. Attacking, fluid football with the 4-3-3, something Sunderland can only dream of playing. Won a game yet? Lol thought not. I bet SMBs are trying so hard not to blame di canio!

Agree0 Disagree0

Never have I said get paulo out I said it will take time and the football we have played looks much more improved than it was. Yous always said pardew hasn't got a clue and never has tactics and wanted him out, I remember very clear so don't deny what was said! Me personally think yous already had a decent side but when no one got brought in and yous got battered off city that's when yous wanted all there heads, so get your facts right YOU did want them out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye leagues only four games old pal

Agree0 Disagree0

I am guessing you are ranting at JToon with your reply. You should address that accordingly. I have already said I would like nothing more than the 3 stooges to pack up and leave. Having said that Pardew looks to have learnt from his round peg square holes tactics from last season and has got us playing some good stuff some he has earned his reprieve.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah fair enough must just be the same every club with 50% negative fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew didn't have a clue last season because that was the first time he was managing a massive club who he got into Europe. We were riddled with injuries and lack of fitness.

My team for hull
Krul
Debuchy
M'Biwa
Coloccini
Santon
Sissoko
Anita
Cabaye
Ben Arfa
Remy
Gouffran

And yes, its another starting 11 with no english players, simple reason being, not good enough for their value.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Fully agree with that squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a mackem and I am sick of the fa etc moaning about sunderland having foreigners, I bet they moan about newcastle too.

Fact is English and British players are too expensive. England are not even rated in the top ten by fifa, 17th I think. so the players values should reflect that.

We signed at the time the best up and coming English striker Wickham for around 8-12million. He's crap. We could of got real quality from abroad.

We also have spent millions on a catergory one status academy trying to bring through young players for safc and England. Newcastle have also just been granted category one status after embarrassingly being turned down last season although safc and boro were granted it. Lol had to get a little dig in.
So the fa and premier league can go and, well you know. Pardon my french.

We will buy foreign if we want to, they are cheaper and better.

Agree0 Disagree0

That looks bang on the money to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

There are 100s of English teams below the Premier League for English players to develop. If they are young and good they will get moved to bigger clubs.

Premier League clubs are not to blame for the lack of talent coming through.

Kids are not spending as much time knocking a ball around in parks as they used to. It is obvious the rise of the internet and xboxes etc, combined with our bad weather is a knock on effect. But hey, blame Sunderland, Arsenal and Newcastle etc for it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wilfried Zaha 16m. Haidara, debuchy, gouffran, m'biwa, sissoko all for 18m prime example of over priced english players. Carroll being another!

Agree0 Disagree0

No way he will drop cisse
