Man City showed you that you can't compete with the big boys, man utd next another defeat on the cards, injuries starting to build up, see that 3rd place slipping away and you lot will be lucky to be 8th by christmas. Bubble has burst watch the defeats pile up SGBS

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Better at the topend of the league than your end my little Mackem Chum. The reality check is a top 6,7 or 8 at the end of the season; that was the target, but we shall see. I bet you wish you were up here with us - oh well never mind

Agree2 Disagree4

Get a life SMB. Your shambles of a team could not even beat Fulham at home. Think your form will continue the same as it has been all season and you will be lucky not to be 8 points adrift from the rest of the league by Christmas.

Agree2 Disagree4

A game we dominated against fulham, abit of luck and we would of won, or we could of taken your approach and pay the ref off for an easy win, we played well, got wigan at home next, think your fantasy of us being 8 points adrift will never happen, we will start moving up that table.SGBS

Agree3 Disagree1

We lost at man city. we lost by two goals where man u lost by 5 goals. so are you saying that man u are not a top 4 team? what if Chelsea loose to Liverpool will that mean they aren't a top 4 team either?

Agree1 Disagree1

So what happens if you lose to man utd by more than 2 does that mean sunderland are better? stop twisting on geordie clown and trying to stir up rubbish, the top 6 clubs in england are man city, man utd, chelsea, arsenal, liverpool and tottenham, followed by everton and villa, then comes fulham, sunderland, newcastle ect..., just being in 3rd for the time being doesnt mean you a top 6 side, those teams finish in those places consistently every season, a good start and you think you belong there. the arrognace of you geordie losers is pathetic. all I got to say is who finished as top dogs the past 3 seasons? enough said SGBS

Agree3 Disagree0

And what about the previous seasons where we finished top dogs, not to mention that we also win our derbies, but you have beat us by being relegated more times and not playing in the champs lge or runners up in the prem ha you make me laugh

Agree0 Disagree2

How long ago were you runners up in the prem 17-18years ago, what have you won since 1960's or something? we won the last major trophy in 1973, your not the team you were and there is no way you will be in the champs league places at the end of the season, you will be lucky if your in the top 7 mind you so will sunderland coz it's only a matter of time before we put a good run together, the past 3 seasons is a sign of the power shifting, sure you lot have had a good start but you can't keep it up when injuries are starting to mount up then the ACON in jan.

Reality check reality check reality check.

LOSERS.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

3 - 1 against a team who smashed man utd 6 - 1? not much of a reality check to be honest. how ever u mackems couldnt even win at home against fulham?? i think the reality is that u deserve to be at the bottom of the table.
toon col

Agree2 Disagree5

So we lost to the best team in the league, away. And remind me what Sunderland did?? oh you held the 16th place side to a 0-0 draw, well clearly you are the winners, well done.... things are looking really good wearside.

Agree1 Disagree5

Honestly mate you really rekon sunderland are gunna get 3 points or anything away at man city, yous cant even beat fulham at home mugs

Agree1 Disagree4

Dominated the game against fulham, unlucky not to win, at least this is the start of your bubble bursting SGBS

Agree4 Disagree2

Was a tough game, but tbh Pardew will hope to take a max of 2/3 points from all three of these harder games. deserved more than we got.

Agree1 Disagree4

The smb need to worry about there own team instead of having a pop at us for losing owa first game of the seasion after 12 games talking about owa bubble getting burst just gose to show how stupid they are canit wait to see them play city this session and really have no room to talk after only winning two games this session and losing 5 sad sad sad mackems

Agree1 Disagree3

And we deserved to get a point at man utd but the fact is we didn't and the fact is man city showed you not a big club and you in a false postion in the table, they could of had more, funniest thing is do you lot still think ryan Taylor is better than seb larsson! survey says no! SGBS

Agree2 Disagree0

You're right 3rd isn't likely where we will finish, wow shocker thanks for telling us... what would we do without your brilliant football brain and insight. And yes we'll be top ten this year, that was our goal all along if you recall. speaking of false positions, yours isn't its spot on, you are no better than a 15 or 17th place side. Have a nice season and I'll be watching to see how many points you get from the top four (including us ;)), not too many is my guess. But i sure in your eyes you will have deserved all the points... what a joke.

Agree0 Disagree3

Can't think of 1 reason why man city won today can think of about 400 million of them . U Mackems gonna do any better? Not from the s**te uve shown us so far

Agree2 Disagree3

Firstly I am a Sunderland fan,Secondly the sad fellow mackem who posted the above is an embarrasment. We are s**t newcastle are doing well and where they are deservedly,3-1 away off the new champions to be is a good result we will get battered.Sooner Bruce is sacked the better as its all doom and gloom on wearside and saddens me to say this as have never missed a match in over 25 years and think of myself as a die hard I hope for us to get beat so pork pie eater will be sacked, hopefully he's arteries will give up soon.

Agree2 Disagree2

The mackem above is probably the only mackem with a brain.

Agree4 Disagree1

Another geordie pretending to be a mackem, no die hard sunderland fan would wish us to get beat just so the manager gets the sack, what a geordie clown you are. We only lost 1-0 to man utd to an own goal and they are the champions, see how scumcastle do against them next week, we might not of beaten fulham but we still got a point better than nothing, wigan at home next, wolves away, blackburn home, qpr away, everton home, winable games and we have fraizer campbell back in training this week and wickham isn't far off either. geordies wishing us to be in the relegation zone by christmas are going to be very dissapointed.SGBS

Agree3 Disagree0

Sad fellow mackem? Well I'm sorry for all my 'fellow' sad geordies for posting that they deserved something after getting dominated 3-1. My apologies.

Agree0 Disagree5

Getting beat of man city, man utd will have no relevance on our season, beating the lesser teams ie sunderland, wolves, blackburn etc will determine our season. also smb come on this site spouting and yet couldnt beat fulham at home..ha ha ha ha make me laugh

Agree0 Disagree3

Im another sunderland fan and it guts me to say it but if it means losing to wigan will see bruce go then lets hope it happens. as for newcastle well done to where you are in the league at present and thought ye did ok yesterday in a tough game but if ye look over ye previous game i would think all but stoke would think they deserved something out of the games you have played but ye look like a side who are hard to beat and def look like a top ten side lads

Agree0 Disagree3

Moronic mackem, u can bang on about how well u played all you like at the end of the day its the final result tht counts. u cn bang on about being unlucky all u want but there were chances in the city game were a "bit more luck" and we could of scored more goals. and the man u game even if wes brown wasnt there it was still goin in. so do you homework on wat your sayin next time

Agree0 Disagree3

The valuable word IF! If the chances had gone in against city but FACT is they didn't do your homework before you start spouting useless information, FACT is we got one more point than you did, we had a good performace against fulham and it is something to build on for us. FACT Ba is going to ACON in jan, who scores your goals then? lets just wait until the end of the season to see is laughing eh?

Ryan Taylor is making a mess this game...

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Its time for his run as a fullback to come to an end. Don't get me wrong his contribution has been fantastic, but he was exposed vs ManC and Richards. Santon time has come, i was really hoping to see him play today with all the injuries, and we could have had RTaylor out at RM. Well to bad the run had to come to an end, but back at it next week boys, congratulations on the great run!

Agree1 Disagree1

Got to agree Id have played rtaylor on right midfield and santon LB but never mind we were not hammered

Agree0 Disagree1

I would personally play raylor at RB and bring in Santon at LB. Simpson has never shown me anything that proves he is top class.

Agree2 Disagree1

Santon in his first start would have been run ragged by richards he would have been that dispondent he most probably would have jacked the game in lets hope santon starts next week see what happens he might never play again
