just looked at the stats in sunday paper and according to that we had 26 goal attempts 9 on target and 17 off target....Alan P that means we need to train at shooting specially at keeping the ball down, Cabaye kicks it over the crossbar more times than Toby Flood. watch replays of the goals we give away and most come from our clearances from long balls from their defence, come on Alan get the defence (whoever he is) to work on these things

You lot are unbelievable - lose a couple of games and the end of the world is nigh ! You have to understand that last season, everything went for you and you are just an average team and you are now experiencing average performances because that's what you are - average ! Get over it !

Believable8 Unbelievable9

You just saw Liverpool and Swansea go,past us
Next week it could be the Mackems and another club
Perhaps then you may appreciate the mistakes are by Ashley,he has given away a great finish last season.
A player which we all believe is quality or 2 will be sold in January to finance new payers coming in
If you think Ashley will spend from the 220m we will have had in think again it will not happen...open your eyes man.

So what are you then? newcastle has never been known, ever, as an average team. We have always been challenging top 7. We lost 2 games to below average teams which is shocking. We have scored 1 from 240+ corners which is disgraceful. Its time for AP to turn it around and if he doesn't well we all know that MA is fond of redknapp...

Redknapp will not move north

Bad times to come for newcastle once again

If redknapp declines the qpr job (If he gets offered) then i think he might be waiting for the newcastle job. I really hope he does decline qpr if they approach him, i'd love redknapp as our manager. He'd give us attacking fluency (Something that AP Cant do) exciting play. People will argue against me that he wont come coz of financial strictness. But i bet he would come, ashley likes him, redknapp knows he'd have a good set of players to work with and develop. plus he would re-unite with some tottenham players. imagine if we got lennon, dawson. I bet ashley and llambias would be a little more lenient with transfers if redknapp was in charge. plus another reason why pardew should go IF we don't get a win against southampton is that since the start of 11-12, we have scored 1 goal from about 243 corners. absolutely shocking...

Believable9 Unbelievable3

He aint going to come to Newcastle... end of he will either take the QPR job or the Southampton job. There is no way he will leave the English Riviera for the North East...

Agree2 Disagree5

He won't go to qpr or southampton. Coz there not big enough clubs and not very good set of players to work with. I bet he would snap up the Newcastle job.

Agree4 Disagree3

His massive mansion down in sandbanks and family, he aint going to give that up, he said that before Pardew...

watch the highlights of saturdays games and look for simpson its like wheres wally. In the summer we didnt get a right back or a cetre back so we a paying for it indefence. defenders dont just defend they start the attack rolling Williamson and Simpson either pass sideways or backwards because they dont know what else to do. we need another creative player in mid field. Also play Ba up front on his own supported bt Ben Arfa, Shola (no goals) and Cisse just get in Bas way. and last of all is Marveaux any good, he gets half a game here and there surely he needs a run of a few games

all u lot sayin sack the manager are off ya heads if ashley sacks pardew a few week into a 8 year contract it will cost him millions in compensation to pards and ashley wont even put money in for new players never mind payin off a 8 year contract the way ashley works is he will let pards keep his job if he under performing but will just tighten up his wallet even more he will think im not wasting money on players when the manager int good enough to do the job............and remember the job pards n the team did last year yes fair enough we rode are luck but we dint have the injuries and suspensions that we have had this year we will get it sorted and hopefully start playing the football are capable of playing and ashley will spend some money from the beginning of jan till the end and i dont mean 15 million on 1 player i would rather have three 5 million pound players douglas debuchy and a decent midfielder that can cross a ball

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Ashley won't sack pardew if we're not up to about 9th...did you not hear the ashley wants newcastle in the champions league...did you not know that hughton got us promoted and was up till about 11th and beat arsenal 1-0 away, ashley sacked him coz we weren't challenging top 7. Well if we're not challenging the top 7 by january then ashley will regret that...so will i coz i will want redknapp whos a quality manager and could take us to the champions league. He was brill with portsmouth. Great attacking football with them and tottenham.

Agree3 Disagree0

Pointless talking about new managers cos ashley will not sack his puppet. Why wud Redknapp come here? He always wants excessive amounts of money to build a team and he isnt a puppet for ashley so there wud be no chance of Redknapp cummin here under this regime. Only the board and pardew to blame, pardew can blame europe all he wants and ashley can want want want 7th place cos unless he invests we arent goin to see 5th or 7th for a while. I went to the game yesterday and the lack of quality, determination, leadership and to be honest any will to win was on show. Simpson and williamson were the worst but every other player apart from ben arfa werent up for it. Why are they like this i ask myself?what happened to the entertaining team i loved to watch and was proud of last season. Can anybody come up with ideas, start a discussion as to what you all think of the underlying reason. (Please dont say Europe)

Agree1 Disagree3

Ashley would love redknapp to be our manager and redknapp would love to be the manager coz of how big the club is and hes got players like krul, colo, ben arfa, cabaye, tiote, ba, cisse. If redknapp came in, we'd be much much better with a 442.
