joke Kinnear is a smoke screen to force out pardew he, s going to be next manager lads get used to it. if he does that will definitely be me finished with supporting the toon while Ashley is in charge. Ashley you are a pr*ck

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally my feelings too m8 well said!

Agree0 Disagree0

You give up that easily

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe just maybe if your fans STOP thinking they run the club he may change, but if it was my club and I had to listen to all the S### that comes from your fans I would say suff you's as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

A club would not exist without its fans. Fans have a right to voice their opinion if you don't like you know what you can do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wally with the brolly is next in

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh all clubs need fans the difference is most fans let there clubs get on with it you lot spit your dummys out thinking ashley will listen, do you really think he gives a F### the more you slag him of the more he will winds you's up.

Agree0 Disagree0

If fans stopped going to the games he would care and very quickly at that. He is all about the money. Fans stop going money stops coming in simple.

One question, after 'that' press conference which led to Kinnear being christened JFK, why oh why did the club give him approval to do media interviews?

Presumably, Kinnear just like the players should have club approval for interviews. Swearing, getting players names wrong, blatant lies, why would anyone put this guy in front of a camera.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yohan kebab need I say more?

In my opinion the kinnear appointment is a joke but its done and we can't do anything about it so let's back the board staff and players like we always do and hope for a good season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get behind the board staff and players like we always do, yeah, that's helping things isn't it? When will people wake up and stop supporting Ashley and his hare brained running of this club?

''''Vaughan reminds me of iniesta, the way he plays with his quick agility and balance and short passing''

^ Read this on the Sunderland page. HAHA

And they call us deluded.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Vaughan reminds me of Bale with he's shooting and goals.

Especially that 3rd goal in the derby haha.

Peach of a goal in an emphatic 3 nill win.

Agree0 Disagree0

First derby won at st jame in how many derbys? silly mackem have you ever seen a mackem in milan?

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you ever seen a mackem in milan haha

Thing is us mackems just laugh at that cringeworthy statement.

Its pointless, its old, it was never funny, its small time and shows you up to be a little club.

Lastly what's even funnier i'm a mackem and I lived in milan haha.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only one JOKE IN HERE LOL and its on you geordies AGAIN.

WONGA, Pardew, Joe Kinnear aka joke in here, only at small amateur clubs would you see any of them.

Sunderland meanwhile have a world class Italian director of football, scout and coach. Rebuilding the club with quality exiting young players. Some quality will be arriving mark my words to go with the free transfers already added which were needed to add numbers to a small squad.

God knows who you will sign haha

We are moving with the times, your going backwards.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard Vaughan is refusing to sign a new contract to push through his move to Juventus.

Conte wants him to play alongside Pirlo.

Agree0 Disagree0

World class coach. Their they go again PDC is world class is he. You need to stop banging your drums. You just look silly again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasnt on about di canio when I said world class coach I was on about our new italian coach from inter milan.

Di canio is by far better than pratdew. You will see how good Di canio is this season. he's not crazy he's passionate and professional. We will be the fittest team next season. He is also brilliant tactically and at motivating.

I for one am hugely disappointed with the three year contract handed out to Mr. Kinnear today; I was hoping for at least seven years

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Jun 2013 15:57:50
its now official Jo Kin is DoF so let's get used to it, we have endured worse things over the years and if he pulls off a couple of top signings over the next couple of weeks we might get happy. football is funny and you never know its so stupid it might work

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not that funny its hilarious

Who'd like to see us go into the south american markets? Like brazil, colombia, uruguay. Give us a bit more technique and style to our play. We hardly have a chance of getting him but players like luis muriel, wellington nem etc.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That is where Porto and Benfica scout their players.

You just have to look at the style of football and players that those 2 teams produce to know they are looking in the right place.

Agree0 Disagree0

You really think old joe could get any of those to Newcastle? No chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only good if we get coaching staff to match. During periods of 'loss of form' or to develop players, coaches need to get players playing the right way, rather than being told to 'lump it up top to Shola'.

Agree0 Disagree0

In Portugal, a Brazilian can come to play football without a work permit. Permitting for other South Americans is also easy. In Italy its a little harder but still quite easy.

In places like Ukraine, it is simple to get a work permit for a foreign player.

In Britain, however, a work permit is very hard to get and a club (or a company) must demonstrate that they are recruiting a foreign person who has skills that cannot be found in the EU. It could be engineering skills or football skills, but the system is designed so that you must employ an EU national over any other nationality. As such it is only "exceptional" players that get work permits. If you find a young Brazilian wonderkid, you have to convince the Home Office (or Visa department) that he is so good that there is no one in the EU with anything like his potential. It is not easy to get work permits for these players. For older players, they usually look at their international record, so if you find a quality player who doesn't get into the international team it is really hard to get a work permit.

Additionally, teams in the UK must own 100% of a player's rights. There is no such restriction on teams in Portugal, Italy or Spain. As such it is easier for teams from these leagues to conclude the commercial aspects of the deal as well as the regulatory process.

You have to remember that there are different regulations for different countries and leagues and this adversely affects teams from certain countries in certain activities. It's not as easy as going to Brazil to scout players.

Whats the chances of kinnear sigining any decent players when he can't even get his own star players names right this whole situation is a joke

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sir Bobby couldn't get players' names right either. Didn't stop him doing a job.

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be better at sorting out negotiations and we will be able to tie up deals for players quicker, none of this debuchy summer 11/12 riff raff. Although he's digging a hole in his interviews but we will be better organised, pardew will have more time to plan, prepare for the new season like tactics and training.

Agree0 Disagree0

How on earth will this man be better at sorting negotiations?! He has a terrible temperament when questioned or threatened.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Sir Bobby couldn't get players' names right either. Didn't stop him doing a job. "

How can you can you speak of Sir Bobby and this prat in the same sentance. Sir Bobby won the respect and love of everybody in the football world because he was a fantastic Manager, both in the UK and abroad, but more importantly he was a fantastic person.

Agree0 Disagree0

He looked half cut to me.
Joe Soak? {Ed003's Note - He sounded it to me aswell}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes bobby got a few names wrong, this guy does it purposefully he is just an ignorant cockney lout and another embarrassment for our once great club, think Ashley likes the rubbing the fans up the wrong way, the only way to get rid of him is to stop going to matches and stop buying his tacky merchandice.

Having just listened to the Talk Sport interview with Joe Kinnear in full, I am more convinced than ever that Newcastle United will implode this season.
There will either be a fan revolt of the highest order, a complete breakdown of backroom moral (due Pardews rightful refusal to walk away from a seven year contract) or a costly Pardew sacking and Kinnear appointment (temporary or otherwise) or even a combination of one or more of these events.
This is a disastrous appointment of a bumbling, rambling person who makes this club an international laughing stock and serves only to demonstate the utter contempt in which the owner holds the fans. And all this without even mentioning the possibility of players walking or engineering a way out. As for attracting players to come here, let's pray they don't listen to this interview. I suggest that you the fans do.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There won't be, the last thing we need is negativity. He will be better at sorting out deals than llambias.

Agree0 Disagree0

I must be in the minority.

The more Kinnear speaks the more I like him.

He is no nonsense, he has made it clear he is not at the club to dilly dally.

He wants to go out and get Newcastle the best possible team on the budget and move on any players that are not good enough.

I was not convinced at first but I am starting to like the bloke.

Why should we give the snipers the joy of turning against our own club.

We are supposed to be the best supporters in the league, let's prove it.

Kinnear is a total character and actually the type of person we normally take to, give him a chance, you may be surprised.

Agree0 Disagree0

JFK is a complete joke But is better than Llambias & Pardew by miles (shows how bad they are)
Fans will at least get a response even if they don't like it as JFK takes no prisoners so good Luck to him ABD to us fans

Agree0 Disagree0

From a Norwich fan. but lived in Newcastle so I understand the passion. I can't believe NUFC have done this. yes there is something missing but a doddering forgetful, fantasist who thinks he is friends with everyone? A Sir Bobby Robson he is not. Incredibly sad state.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with 3rd post, why have a director of football from a foreign country (Like sunderland have) that none of the staff at newcastle have never met when they can have someone they get along with and will work well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Blindly following the crowd is one thing but allowing our club to carry on like this is criminal. There is nothing positive about this person being appointed.

Agree0 Disagree0

'Look, children, here comes Mr Misery again. He sounds very unhappy, doesn't he? What's that, Jimmy? He's always effing miserable? Now, now, we don't use bad language, Jimmy. Mr Misery only wants that nasty Mr Ashley to leave. And Mr Pardew, of course. Oh, and Mr Llambias and now Mr Kinnear. Yes, Jimmy, you're right, he wants every effing c*** to eff off, but we don't use bad language, do we? Now children let's sing a song to cheer up poor Mr Misery. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. '

Agree0 Disagree0

It sounded more like JK was drunk last night nearly every thing he said was incorrect or disrespectful to players, staff and supporters. this will end in disaster

Agree0 Disagree0

All very noble stuff this gentlemen but the truth of the matter is simple; if Sunderland, for example, had appointed Kinnear as director of football, you would now be crying with laughter. There's brave faces and just plain stupidity.

Agree0 Disagree0

The biggest difference between them is that our DOF is up to date with modern football as against a dinosaur.
JToon you must be the most optomistic fan I have ever seen. Trying to be positive when you see the real changes to the running and management of our club must be very hard.

Took me a couple of days to digest the rebirth of JK at the toon and i'm finding it difficult to take many positives from the latest debarcle. MA seems to be turning the corner then the wheels come off again but Joe is here so we have to look forward and be positive as the name says we are UNITED.
On a good note I do think JK will do a much better job than Llambias in negotiating with players coming in as his agenda will not be to buy cheap and get a good sell on fee. I also think JK will identify the weak links and not hesitate in shipping out the deadwood. Hopefully he can give pardew some advice on tactics. there's no disputing that JK is an old school footballing man who will have a vast army of contacts and friends throughout all the football leagues and with a bit of luck this will help us bring in the quality we need and get clubs for the ones we don't.
KEEP THE FAITH!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jk was appointed by MA so will have been told buy cheap sell high, don't think because kinnear is now the transfer guy that the overal plan will have changed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Blind faith?

Agree0 Disagree0

And me too! Let's have a bit of Geordie optimism for a welcome change.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jun 2013 09:47:53
Is it just me or is Joke Inhere pretty much stating he is now Chief Scout? Not only is he an awful public speaker but he also talks more crap than I have ever heard in my life. I am really struggling to see who he can attract to the club, what does he bring to the table. I really do think he will be in charge come Christmas if Pardew has a bad start to the season, which he is more than likely to happen. this reminds me of when Gerard Houllier Joined Liverpool and became manager it didn't take Roy Evans long to take the hint.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He must have already given Ashley grounds to sack him for incompetence and bringing the club into disrepute with the media, and attacking the fans in public. Not to mention the absolute landslide of straight up lies he keeps spouting. He signed Krul and Perch. He wasn't even at the club When Perch came and Souness signed Krul.

It's not funny, it's not endearing. it's horrifying, and very very sad.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wonder how much we are paying Kinnear. surely this could have been better spent on a new player!

I was really looking forward to the fixtures coming out tomorrow morning but this has taken the edge off that a bit.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jun 2013 09:17:41
If this whole Joe Kinnear thing is a ploy to make Pardew look better by comparison, it's working!

I almost feel sorry for Pardew having to work with the man.

Him, and Yohan Kebab.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well i'm pleased the toon have a director of football and such a quality bloke!

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jun 2013 09:15:23
I'm kind of glad we've got a director of football, despite it being joe kinnear, he's got a decent knowledge about football (apart from the fact he can't say our players names properly) he knows what we need, he has a good ambition, "We will keep our best players, and move on our mediocrity players" "We need quality players to compete with top clubs. " Pardew will have more time to work on tactics etc. Llambias will have more time to work on finances etc. It's a rock off their shoulders. I'm now looking forward to the new season. but its no good just trying to slate joe kinnear and being negative, he's going to do well and it's going to be a lot more organised. Now that we have a director of football, I wouldn't be surprised if we got 4-6 new signings, baring in mind at least 3 of them being quality players.
HTL

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We are going to be a lot more organised and he is going to do well? what is this based on where is the evidence that supports this statement. Being positive is one thing blind faith is something else. He has zero experience is this role and his interview last night was embarrassing. The only thing that JK and Pardew have in common is their football style of play. Long!

Agree0 Disagree0

You have to be taking the p--s.

Agree0 Disagree0

No i'm not. negativity is the last thing we need before the start of a new season. Kinnear will be a lot better at sorting out deals than llambias.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he better at it than Llambis. Is that because he can call up any manager in the world. JToon you are a sheep mate blindly following whatever MA says. I guess if he put mickey mouse in charge of the club you find the positive in that?

Agree0 Disagree0

They are so disrespectful of the fans that it does not matter what you all say or do. You may as well be optomistic for now.
( But then you will wake up to a real nightmare. )

Agree0 Disagree0

Joe Kinnear has said he has more intelligence than the toon army. Great statement coming from a bloke who couldn't even pronounce our players names correctly. What joke this bloke is.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Baldrick's turnip knows more about football than 99% of the so-called fans who post on here.

The circus goes on.
A comedian and fans who can talk out of their arse are new additions to the big top.
Sources confirm that the circus owner is looking to bolster his team with some performing seals untill someone informed him that they had too many already.
With the arrival of the comedian it is understood that ringmaster Pratdew is thought to return to his role as head puppet, with the comedian running the show.
It is expected that ticket prices are set to rise to pay for additional donkeys to join the show.
All is well at the Sid James Circus.
