Gunna put this to bed, it's always good to watch your rivals lose
But I did watch the game because I expected it to be 6-0 to Fulham but I was unhappy, Sunderland out played them everywhere but still lost, LOL
One shot all it takes!
They are looking like a good solid team

Our fans are saying that they will be calling for Di Canio's head so I went on there but all they seem to say is praise
BUT THEY STILL LOST

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why you putting it to bed? Sunderland were beaten at home by probably the 5th poorest team in the league. So they think with that performance they will win more than they lose. So using that logic they might win 8 games all season against the 4 poorer teams than Fulham. No mater how you dress it up they were beaten at home by a poor side. with 3 shots on target all game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes they did play better. But literally every shot was outside the box. You've got more chance of scoring from a corner, and Fulham did exactly that. They took their chances, Fulham weren't at their best anyway. And that's worrying if you still can't nick a point against a team you dominated who were poor

Agree0 Disagree0

Couple of digs their mate which is expected and majority of sunderland fans are behind pdc and it was nice to come out of the ground with people talking positives yesterday Fulham made it hard for us playing 9 men behind the ball and they defended well think they came for a draw but sneaked a goal well done to them I think they will prove a hard team to beat this season though I wouldn't like to watch that football all season. as for tomorrow night I think Newcastle have a tough game and to be honest think you will get beat but if there is a time to play city it could be their first game as they have 4 new players to bed in and it could take them a couple of games so I wouldn't be surprised if you managed to get something from the game but fancy 3-1 to city

Agree0 Disagree0

Yup we lost but as a safc fan I can see how much improved we look and yes got beat by a goal that should not have counted as the Fulham player who scored had his hands on our players shoulders to stop him jumping, I thought that was a foul, not picked up by ref or linesmen, you lot will lose 4-0 on Monday so will be below us in the table so no bragging rights yet lads

Agree0 Disagree0

A couple of digs? I would say facts. City away do any realistic fan think we will win. I certainly don't but you can always hope.

the down the road are saying that their "revolution" is going well and are saying that they were quality and absolutely dominated fulham. How can they be quality or brilliant if they couldn't even get a point off of a poor below average fulham side?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Who cares about Sunderland.

If you want to make comments go to their banter pages.

Only want to know what's going on at the toon!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a Newcastle banter page child should you have not posted that on sunderlands page

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor fulham, they got some very good p, layers and expect them to finish above the cartoon

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 18:36:12
surely surely surely he won't play Jonas at all never mind left back

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You already know the answer to that question. Pardew probably ask Jonas where he wants to play.

Agree0 Disagree0

If jonas plays left back on Monday it will just show pardew hasn't learnt from last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope that haidara or m'biwa starts at left back

Agree0 Disagree0

NOBODY at our club has learned anything from last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 18:23:17
Is anyone else a bit suspicious that this Remy "injury" seems to coincide with his looming court date?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No. The club would not have signed him if he had a high chance of being guilty

Agree0 Disagree0

And I guess the cps would not have charged him if they thought he was going to get off he might be the only player in your history who you have signed and doesn't play for you interesting

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened to clubs keeping the same home kit for 2 years minimum? Or is it just another way of making more money?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sunderland losing to fulham, that's made my day ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lol shows had sad your life is then don't it, I'm sure you be back to your miserable self come Monday night

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland actually played very well, very unlucky to lose but not making excuses, not worried either. A LOT of positives. Fulham had one shot but that's all it takes, an header from a corner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are the unwashed on here telling us how good the new revolution is going for them. Did they win or something?

Agree0 Disagree0

No the guy is just pointing out that sunderland dominated the game and that it was your fellow mugpie that mentioned us!

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL you dominated a weak, below average fulham side and you still couldn't even snatch a draw.

Agree0 Disagree0

How sad my life is? that's a bit harsh? I'm sorry but why don't you come back and take off your deluded specs and realise that sunderland are in yet another circus and that this "revolution" is just going to lead to you doing a QPR.

Agree0 Disagree0

43, 905, 43, 905! Can't you even fill your own stadium on the first day of the season with all these exciting new players and high expectations? Great fans, our average in the Championship was higher than that! Even with the unrest at SJP it's higher than that, at least show some passion if you're going to bus it over to our page and give us grief! 43, 905 ha ha ha ha not a bad crowd but when your stadium holds 49,000 it's a pretty bad crowd!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jtoon are you sure your name isn't cartoon how old are you what a sad man united are go and watch childrens tv and come back with some decent banter its people like you and your comments which spoil this site

Agree0 Disagree0

Why go on about not filling the ground who gives a F###!, your grounds full because 45000 season tickets are on 10 and 5 year deals that ashley conned you into buying.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can we sell out if fulham sold about 50 tickets and had thousands of empty seats in the away end? What do you want us to do pose as fulham fans so our stadium is full haha deluded. I'm happy with 44k against fulham I bet about another 100 clubs in this country would be too.

Your obsessed with attendances is pathetic and embarrassing when will it end lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

By the sounds of it I am probably older than you. you don't have a pop at someone and say they're life is sad in football banter. But you're obviously not mature enough to take banter.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 17:22:12
Do you think our unwashed neighbors will on talking about there new revolution tonight. They will be calling for PDC's head no doubt. Bubble has burst already. Can't hit a barn door had a good game by all accounts.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Can't hit a barn door had a good game by all accounts Are you for real. If we play anywhere near how Blunderland played we can expect a result at Cietey

Don't open your gob until after Monday
Record score so far opening day in Prem 6-0 we could beat that and be on the wrong end

Agree0 Disagree0

I will say and write want I want and the " can't hit a barn door had a good game" was sarcasm obviously lost on you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obv u never saw the game then. safc dominated that game, your right about 1 thing you will be demolished on Monday and be bottom,

Agree0 Disagree0

They won't be calling for his head. They'll be too embarrassed after thinking he's the messiah. We've got nothing to lose at city, is rather be best 5-0 by city than 1-0 to a poor Fulham side. We can beat city

Agree0 Disagree0

I have no doubt we will get beat on Monday. But the unwashed were banging their drums about the new revolution. Beaten at home by a poor Fulham side is a huge difference to playing City away.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes your right I didn't see the Sunderland. You couldn't pay me enough to watch that rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

A poor fulham side> my god the deluded mugpies are out today!

Agree0 Disagree0

No u just pay Ashley for worse, lol that Fulham side will destroy you, just like everyone else in the league, 3 games in you be rock bottom then kinnear will step in and take u down to fizzypop league 2 :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Bet you saw them in the last derby match though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor deluded mackems have got there crystal balls out again. Put them away they have done you no good in the past. Beaten by a poor Fulham side and they look to mock us. Grasping at straws already after only 1 game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well mate how wrong you are as usual. majority of sunderland fans came our of the ground looking at all the positives from yesterdays game I can't remember many Newcastle fans coming on here and praising their team after losing. yes we found it hard to break down a well organised Fulham team who played most of the game with 9 men behind the ball and i'm sure we won't be the only team to have that problem this season. as for pdc the guy actually does know a lot about the game as he has stated all week he is on the look out for a creative midfield player which was apparent yesterday which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of fifa managers on here who are shouting for centre forwards from a team who conceded nearly 70 goals I think the defence needs addressing as well as for sunderland fans we accept defeat like men and don't go smashing our own town up when we lose games.

Agree0 Disagree0

You were doing quite well at first and I pretty much agreed with your statements until you went and spoilt it all with that rubbish at the end.

Takeover talk:Ashley sale claim A story which looks to have emerged from over the border suggests that Mike Ashley is set to increase his stake in Rangers into full ownership of the Ibrox club - using the proceeds of his sale of Newcastle United. And fter previous claims of interest from Asian, Russian and Arab-based investors, the rumoured purchasers of United this time round are from the USA.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This sounds too good to be true although it IS on the respected and usually 100% correct NUFC. com.
Don't know why other media etc. haven't picked up on it yet though.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 16:44:44
Here is my idea, there is estimated to be 6 million NUFC fans in the world. If every put in a £3. 50 donation we could sign ince-8mill, alderweireld-5mill and ideye-7mill. Solved then I can look at Newcastle rumours when I am at home from work and be happy :D

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would never happen mate unfortunately.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should we when Ashley could buy all of them without noticing any effect on his wallet

Agree0 Disagree0

Nobody wants to invest in a comedy circus!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would much rather everyone put £50 in and buy out this disastrous owner.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy has money which nobody denies but the majority of his wealth belongs in shares of companies and not in readies lads

Agree0 Disagree0

Shouldn't stop him making some decent player purchases as other 'skint' owners seem to be doing at the moment.
(And don't give me the usual 'but they may go like Leeds and Portsmouth' rubbish).

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 15:23:49
nufc.com have said that they've heard rumours from across the border that the plump one is going to sell Newcastle and use some of the proceeds to buy Rangers! Poor Rangers, haven't they been through enough? I like the idea of this though (not for Rangers but I'd give anything to have him gone).

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree yh everyone wants the fat man out but I find this rumour unlikely

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do you give these s*** blogs any credence at all? A baseless rumour that Ashley's about to sell? Oh, yes, that sounds good to me, I must say.

Agree0 Disagree0

The plump one us in negations now with a few prospective buyers one USA
That's the reason he will not spend what he can't re coup
Hope it is right. Louise a few games and hopefully re build

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's this 'Louise'? Do I know her? Is she our new striker?

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair nufc.com generally hold in stories until there's some credibility to the story. They do with transfers. Fingers crossed people.
Qball.

Agree0 Disagree0

Na m8 'louise' is that lass that works in the kebab shop at the bigg market. geordie tom

Agree0 Disagree0

Buying Rangers would make total sense for Ashley. Due to their current position he'd get it for a decent knock down price. He wouldn't have to make the same kind of pricey Premiership purchases that he has to for the Toon (not that he does, mind) and with the return to the Scottish Premiership a nailed on certainty with their usual Toon sized gates and almost certain trophies and continual Champions League entry, he'd get his beloved Sports Direct seen all over the world.
He'd also get none of the aggro he is used to here. A no brainer.
Are you reading this Mike? Just do it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't like to spoil the party, lads, but the rotund one could buy Rangers with his loose change, no need to sell NUFC. Sorry. Vic

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't own two clubs - Sorry Vic.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Ashley could 'buy Rangers with his loose change' it begs the question, "Why he doesn't spend a few bob on new players for the Toon"?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hear what you say about owning two clubs, but could Ashley not set up a company with shares owned by a family member that he can control, to buy Rangers shares? He already owns some. I'm sure his lawyers could find a way round it. If I remember right, aren't Rangers just valued at a few bob and some Tesco vouchers? Vic

I seems that we are only looking to bring in one other striker before the deadline shuts.

But we need a lot more than that.

An CB would be good, was hoping the roumer about Alderwield was true but have heard nothing since.

Wide-left is a real issue for us. Everything has to come from Ben Arfa on the right, the side has no balance. Are plenty of good left-wingers that wouldn't cost the earth but seems like we are not even looking.

Creative CM is still a big issue also. If Cabeye has an off few games we don't have anyone other than Marveaux that can step in. Fernandes for 3 mil wouldn't be a bad deal. Would like to see Hughes or Ince brought in.

Doesn't matter if we do get another CF in as the creativity of the team is a bigger problem. If we were getting loads of chances but not finishing them, then okay. But that's far from it. They seem to think a new striker will create his own chances and finish them as well. The only players that can do that are Messi and Ronaldo etc. If we get more creative players am sure Cisse and Remy will finish the chances created.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hear, hear! Sense at last! Vic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland fan here mate and it good to see a mag who actually knows what his on about

Ashley ready to sell???? how many times have we heard this now? would love to think it is true. good riddance fat mike.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 Aug 2013 13:36:55
The biggest chance of mike Ashley leaving is if we're relegated. I don't think anyone is prepared to lose the likes of Mbiwa, cabaye, krul, santon, colo, debuchy, Sissoko, benny, cisse in that way.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 Aug 2013 12:02:42
Have to say, I almost feel sorry for that Sunderland lot now. They are still calling for Danny Rose, they would probably be on 7th heaven if they signed him too.

A 2nd rate left back, too short for the role; that is a rookie at Spurs lol. That is the best Sunderland can ever hope for.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is that all you can muster up to post on our banter page, things must hunky dory at the toon then, is it?Mark-m.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rose is a quality left back, remember him having your attacks in he's pocket? Although that wasn't hard. We would be happy with signing him delighted.

But I would worry about your own team that nearly got relegated, has a Muppet in charge of the team, club, transfers, in pardew, Ashley, kinnear. Has not improved the squad but everyone else has. Your going down if you don't make two or three signings, remy is injured, then in prison.

Lets see if you feel sorry for sunderland at the end of the season, I think not more jealous. Our manager was in the bridges shopping centre yesterday talking to fans AND promised a trophy within two to three years. Now I'm not expecting one but that confidence is giving our fans joy and belief, were enjoying our football. I bet your not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha I agree

Agree0 Disagree0

Deluded mackems blinded by every single transfer window, seeing it as a revolution, they've had about 3 "revolutions" or circuses now and they've still been fighting relegation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rose looks like a galactico in that rubbish Sunderland side, but that is not difficult.

Truth be told, Rose isn't really that good. Spurs will likely dump him soon. But sure, probably good enough for Sunderland.

Sunderland buy all the players that are failed at the top of the table.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remind me again- what team finished below us after 38 games, had a full-back called Rosebud or something. Vic

Agree0 Disagree0

I guarantee even after losing to fulham today that sunderland will finish above newcastle.

Agree0 Disagree0

And you tried to sign Bent who failed at the bottom of the table.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sir, you can guess, you can forecast, you can speculate but you can't guarantee anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

I come on here nearly everyday not for the transfer news as I Know they will be non. I come on and I read disgruntled and disillusioned fans who are angry about the lack of ambition the club is showing (even JTOON sometimes). The 3 stooges keep spinning out rubbish to try and keep the masses on side. The point after all of this there will be a packed out stadium for every home game a packed out away end. As long as we keep doing this it will not change. Banners change nothing, singing and chanting changes nothing. An empty stadium WOULD. I understand support the team but not the regime, but by going to the game every week you are indirectly lining Ashley pockets and that's all he cares about. Time to take a stand.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree but some fans will support no matter what

The only option I can recommend is
Stand outside training ground in numbers or tweet pardew kinnear or ashley and say we need bodies in to survive.

If that doesn't work, simply they don't care

Agree0 Disagree0

Sadly I think you're right if we don't line his pockets he will hopefully move on

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I agree with you, but that's never going to happen considering how loyal a lot of the fans are including me. I go to matches to support the team, the players and the club. not the board. But yes that wouldn't change anything by still going to the matches. Maybe protesting out side the stadium could but its unlikely to happen. What else can we do? Nothing. Just support the team and hope that mike Ashley decides to sell and hope there's some Arab quatarian multi billionaire who will buy us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thing why won't it happen. Its about time it did our biggest strength is also our biggest weakness your right but a crowd of 20,000 against the hammers will send the message very quickly to Ashley.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is the ONLY way and only takes a little football deprivation (three or four games max. ) before he'll become so sick and embarrassed at the negative publicity to him and his beloved sports brand he'll pack it in.
Just going along each game means we are ready to accept anything he throws at us. I thought Toon fans were bigger than that.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 01:28:46
Newcastle have absolutely no ambition!

Look at Liverpool. They aren't in Europe but look at the players they are signing/attracting.

Pardew say we can't compete financially with the top 6, but we are not even competing with the top 12.

We have defo go a long awful season ahead. Is annoying me already and the league hasn't even kicked off yet.

Pardew talking of trying to win at Man City. Which means its going to be a heavy defeat.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's Ashley who has no ambition, we're so stubborn that even the top 18 are ahead of us in terms of ambition. Smaller clubs like Swansea, west ham, Cardiff, hull, Sunderland, Norwich are showing that they want to become an established premier league side. Don't get me wrong here, we have a very good squad, and they seem to have bonded very well. But there's players like Williamson, Jonas, gosling, ameobi, obertan need to be replaced with better quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

Must be that time of the month again lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle has ambition BUT ashley hasn't going to take us down

Agree0 Disagree0

You say smaller clubs, but your team also comes under that bracket your on same level if not below most of the teams u mentioned, tell me who have you bought this season? every other small team as you say has improved there teams.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're talking about small clubs as in reputation, newcastle with their reputation should be fighting for europa league every season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool sell Downing, Carroll and Suarez about to follow.

Skrtel is also being sold, and Agger may go to Barca.

Yep, look at all that Liverpool ambition.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some clubs have made one or two signings (and one club has signed a whole new team) but it remains to be seen whether they are any better for it. West Brom have gambled on a near-geriatric Anelka, Norwich have signed three without PL experience and paid out a lot of money, and Swansea have also paid a lot for an untried Bony. Meanwhile, all the top clubs are, like us, struggling to land their targets. As for the Unwashed, it isn't the number of signings that matters, it's the quality. Vic

Agree0 Disagree0

All the top clubs, like us? Dream on fella. Another 1992 er who has mislaid the last few years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Try reading all of the words. I didn't say we are a top team. You missed out the 'are'.

Agree0 Disagree0
