ok we have to name a 25 man squad for next season so how do we do it. I've looked at the current squad and come up with the following:
Krul Elliot
Collo Santon MBiwa Haidara Debuchy STaylor
Cabaye Sissoko Anita BenArfa Bigirama Marveaux Tiote
Cisse gouffran

Thats 17 so we need another 8 (we have Anwick (GK) Perch Vuckic Tavernie Abeid SammyAmiobi and Campbell
some of these need to go so we can buy new players but who any suggestions on this

Keep Perch out of those and forget the rest. A new manager is of more priority.

Doesn't Bigi count as a homegrown player?

Forget the rest? Including Vuckic? The kid who's about 20 and has got a massive future ahead of him?. Good shout.

Hi I have just been debating who out of Newcastles first 11 would get in Sunderlands first 11 and visa versa.
My team would be.

Debuchy Collocini oshea Rose

Cabaye Ndiaye

Johnson Ben arfa sessegnon

Fletcher.

Mainly picked on current form.

Tiote is rubbish, sissoko and ndiaye close hard to pick but ndiaye is looking good and sissoko showed early promise and that's it. I like haidara but no way is he better than rose. I have gone with Fletcher ahead of cisse because he has a great conversion rate. mbiwa was tore a new behind by sessegnon in the derby and showed he is useless without collocini next to him.

Johnson is debatable but he has played well under di canio.

Wtf? Ndiaye over sissoko? Are you on drugs?

Wouldn't pick ndiaye or sissoko both played one good game each this season

Taylor is garbage why do you rave about him?Saying he is England class etc, oshea and cuellar. are both better.

Ndiaye is a good player you will see next season. Sissoko is not a footballer one game wonder.

Maybe i'm bias but I think tim krul is not only the best gk, I can't remember us having a better no. 1. and hell only get better the one player I don't want us to lose in the summer

Always makes you laugh when a mackem raves about their players and slags everyone else's down. Mclean was a god last season now you lot want to sell him. Bardsley was the best RB in the PL and he is on the scrap heap too. No wonder everyone think Sunderland are deluded.

Agree with the original poster's side except the choice of RB as debuchy and Simpson as well as bardsley and Gardner are all crap so i'll have to select a centre half to play there and as there's only two good cb's and there already selected this leaves a problem what do you think about playing santon there finally would love to see the pairing of sessegnon and Ben arfa tearing it up or do you think this would be a problem as both would want to be top dog

And how come people are all over johnson, even the mackams were crying about the lazy lad until he had a few good games for PDC.

I said johnson was debatable as he's only just come good. Ndiaye outclassed the whole newcastle midfield in the derby, he has never had a bad game under pdc so how can you say he has only had one good game? he's a good player.

Anyway its all just a bit of fun, the winning team so far though is the one with bramble in that's the strongest lol.

Rose plays for Tottenham, not Sunderland!

Ndiaye wasn't there to "outclass the midfield" he's there to do a Tiote job which he's better at, but sissoko was amazing for toulouse in the holding midfield.

Johnson is officially the worst crosser in the Premier League.

The stats prove it.

For all of his footwork he has no end product.

Fine take Johnson out and put larsson in the team he's the best crosser of the ball in the north east and one of the best in Europe.

You all forgot one thing lads you can't pick a team out of both sides and actually think they will do anything both poor squads

Johnson has a great shot on him though he scored a blinder on the 14th of April wonder who that was against.

"Larsson one of the best crossers in Europe" typical deluded mackems. I'm pretty sure there are many other clubs in the world that have players like larsson on their team. We could say the same about raylor.
