I only wish Newcastle had done the same after the same amount of time. He would not have had chance to sell players like Clark, Ferdinand, Ginola, Beardsley, Asprilla and replace them with Carl Serrant, Des Hamilton, Stephan Guivarch, Alessandro Pistone. Shuddering whilst typing those names (and they are just the ones i can think of off the top of my head), oh forgot, Andreas Andersson (i just threw up in my mouth typing that one).

Demba Ba has tweeted; What a great season we had. I'll miss sjp and the atmosphere for few weeks. Cant wait to step back on the pitch and feel the noise again...

1st signing of the season has been confirmed.

Newcastle have moved to strengthen their Academy squad with the signing of 16- year-old Slovakian central defender Lubomir Satka, who has signed a three year deal.
Satka is the current captain of Slovakia's U17 side and moves from Dubnica - our Intertoto Cup opponents back in 2005.

Wouldnt be suprised if newcastle sign reo coker from bolton on a free this summer, we need a big squad for next year lot more games and hed be good cover plus he was pardews captain at west ham he knows what hell get from him
