id be over the moon if AC comes back to nufc we havnt got many english players let alone local lads, he is quality,and love it when he bullies other teams centre halfs.

Judas. You honestly think any club anywhere in the first season back in the top league in there country would have turned down that money for a player. Whether he wanted to go or not Ashley was going to sell because he is a bussiness man. He now might return for 15 million.If this comes off you will have essentially of had 20million pound off Liverpool for a season and a halfs loan. This money has funded a team which got you a european place last season. Why the sour grapes? It has the makings of one of the best bits of bussiness I have ever seen in football.....

Have to agree with Obertan comment....
I've tried to be patient and hoped he would improve like perch has to an extent, but his lack of composure when he was one on one with the keeper and general lack of ability to beat players or even cross the ball is shocking and showing no sign of improving.

Bit harsh on Obertan - he didn't do too badly with his 30 mins. Yeah, he probs should have scored but I defo don't think he was the worst player out there. Santon looked way worse - was good going forward but left his flank very unguarded far too often. Hope it's that he's just a bit rusty cos i haven't seen him leave that much space to the opposition before. Tbh, I'd prefer to see him playing on the right hand side of the midfield so he can focus more on attacking but come help out his fullback if they need it.

think some people needs to give andy carrol some slack here....the lad can play and is a real handfull to play against..LFC do not play to his strenghts at all...and dont knock him for leaving as how many people on here would leave there job for a better paying job bet there aint many...and are you seriuosly telling me with the £35 million we got for him ashley or ant one else would of said look if you want to stay then thats fine we will refuse the £35 million I THINK NOT.....k

Makes no difference what people on here earn moneys money the more you have the more you want...so if you on 40k a week and some one offers double your going to go 9 out of 10 times anyway.........

Thats understandable - its the part where he tells the world that he was sold against his will that annoys me. But hey, life is short and he's a big daft kid in a chrome covered Rangerover - its a bit unfair to expect him to be a bastion of moral upstanding; he kicks a pigs bladder around a field for a living ffs!
Also, I suspect he knows that he made a monumental mistake and probably doesn't need us to remind him...but we will. :-)

Newcastle were never interested in Bojan until they heard the rumour themselves. Since then Newcastle have looked into the Bojan deal and realised Roma will have to pay Barca around 20 million to keep him as that was the agreed deal before they took him. Newcastle have since enquired about him to Barca and have apparently agreed a deal for an undisclosed fee but the deal will only be done if Roma decide they don't want to keep him.
Also if Newcastle re-sign Carroll we will become a joke club again (a tag we have managed to get rid of in the last 2 seasons.) He showed his disrespect towards Newcastle last season at ST JAMES PARK. And he's clearly stated he wants to remain a Anfield. He would only get into our starting 11 in cup games, during the ACON and if Ba or Cisse are injured anyway. So he would probably get more game time at Liverpool. Although Liverpool are likely to sign Ba even though they would have to pay a little more than a top 4 club.
Newcastle also looking too offload Tiote for a big cash deal and replace him with Anita who is a better player on the ball as well as sharing the same defensive attributes.
