As I keep saying, we need to go 4-2-3-1 and really go and kill the games against palace and stoke. we need to break that duck of not being able to score 3 or more goals in one game, and produce an 80-90minute performance of attacking intent and dominance. Santon got destroyed at left back, so I think haidara needs to come in. M'Biwa really needs to come in for colo and his partnership with willo worked against chelsea and spurs.

Lineup for palace:

4-2-3-1

Krul
Debuchy Williamson M'Biwa Haidara
Cabaye Tiote
Sissoko Ben Arfa Gouffran
Remy

What about Dummett? I still think Haidara is better our defence should be Debuchy-Mbiwa-Williamson-Haidara

Don't get your hope up for a couple of goals JToon, in our last 54 games we've only won 3 of them by 2 or more goals even West Ham have managed to win 3 games by 2 or more goals just this season under Allardyce.
Also I'd love to see a left footer playing left back surely it makes more sense to have someone who can cross it in with Ameobi playing rather than cut inside and make a simple pass like santon always does.

Agree0 Disagree0

J Toon we are winning be happy it's football not subuteo
See where we are in mid January
I think we will be 10th what you predicting?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ben Arfa has played all his best games for us starting on the right wing, don't know why he is getting played behind striker

Agree0 Disagree0

I know it would be nice to see a 4 or 5 goal margin win we haven't seen one in ages. I reckon 9th

Saw Andre Villas. Boas has been sacked as manager of spurs. I know Pardew is doing well but what do people think of AVB?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I like him, he's got very good attacking tactics, still needs a bit of learning but he's a good manager and a good manager. He's been asked too much from spurs and chelsea. At Chelsea he was told to try and bring more young blood through and ship out the likes of ashley cole john terry etc. but still try and get top 3. Tottenham again, you can't expect 7 new foreign players to settle in and suddenly become PL superstars overnight.

Agree0 Disagree0

Geez Pardew is better than AVB give him some credit what you wittering on about Pardew is going no where
One of the few mangers with his hands tied yet got some great results
He is our manager stop talking about people replacing (at least at the moment)

Agree0 Disagree0

AVB is one of the class managers in the world, HE IS good with youth and he couldn't make them immediately

I personally think he is better then Pardew

Agree0 Disagree0

Toonmat Respect your opinion but AVB had spent nearly 120m and has been sacked by two big clubs he's no good for us and as said Pardew is going nowhere so get behind him while things are positive because they may not last

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I think AVB is a great manager with attacking mentality, He was forced to sell Bale and Levy forced him to get more players. At Chelsea they didn't give him a chance. But yes pardew is doing a great job so stay with him at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think AVB thought to highly of himself after winning with Porto and took a job way too big for him at Chelsea after getting sacked by them he should of waited for a mid table team who wanted to break into the top six which would have took a lot of pressure off him and allow himself to show what he can do in the Premiership but he took the Spurs job and with it came expectations of champions league qualification and too much pressure.
Now his reputation is damaged and I can't see him managing in the EPL for a good few years which could be a good thing for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

SC7 we are a mid table team so it would take stress off and he might dwell, he has a lot better back room staff then we do

Agree0 Disagree0

AVB had one good (lucky?) season with Porto and that's it. Definitely not proven to be a top manager at all. Good attacking football? Where? When? And for comparison with Pardew: Man C 6, Spurs 0; Man C 4, NU 0; ten man NU 2, L'pool 2; Spurs 0 L'pool 5. And if Ashley had splashed out £120m we'd all be expecting great things even with Pardew in charge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he have been hired by Chelsea if he was a bad manager?
