JToon's inane positivity is grating though, you have to admit. I like to think of myself as positive fan - and dare I hope that we'll be safely in this league come May? - but it seems to be mistake upon mistake upon mistake.

To be fair, altidore is no heskey. he may not become a 20 goal a season striker but 6m will rarely buy you a 20 a season striker. he'll be decent for them.
what can we say about cisse, who seems to be running about aimlessly these days. looks a fraction of the player we thought he'd be.
