Wow we hammered you yesterday but you were unlucky with cisse goal it could have been a different game but you should have had a man sent off

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Smb if it happens every 13 years you won't have howard de-canio webb next time but more so your derby day will be with boro next year chow every toon fan will be supporting evertoon this weekend

Agree1 Disagree1

LOL it could be you's who play boro next season, hard run in for you now, do you think the french contingent are bothered if they go down doubt it, we have a bit momentum going now and i'm confident we will stay up can't say the same for you's

Agree0 Disagree0

Hard run in for us? Have you seen your last few games. Without krul you lot want to be looking over your own shoulders

Agree0 Disagree0

Think boro are going down,, not looking good in the north east

Agree0 Disagree0

Boro not going up but certainly not going down. H, pool going down

Agree0 Disagree0

Every toon fan will be supporting Everton, that's a shame because we will be cheering for you to win your second away game of the season at West Brom, come on now, don't let things make you bitter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well won one game and going to take on the world wake up man smb

not come on to gloat lads but I can't believe how easy we beat you's yesterday cabaye was poor, sissoko made some good runs but his final ball was awful. tiote brushed aside easy by Larsson, gouffran lucky to stay on the field was rubbish out wide. marveaux never got a look in taylor could do with losing a stone or 2, cisse never got much service debuchy very poor defending and going forward. shola I know he has done well against us in the past but he looked like someone who has never played football before as for ben arfa pardew wants to watch what his doing with this lad he is class act I love watching him play but he was no way fit enough to play in a game like yesterday. anyway hopefully that win gives us a good chance to be playing the tyne wear derbies next season lads

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Sunderland's shooting was much better, and that was the difference.

We are a much bigger club so it means more to your players to win this game, due to it being the only glory you play for every season.

It is quite a come down from playing Benfica a few days earlier to play a team with the likes of Bramble & the ginger IRA supporter that nobody cares about etc.

I am sure our players will put that straight next season, if you are still in the same division as us that is. LOL

Agree4 Disagree3

Dont butter your self up mate we playe 2 and half times more games than yous and on average 2 to 3 games a week pity it will never happing in your life time Newcastle airport is more than a place to take yous on backy runs son

Agree2 Disagree1

Sunderlands shooting was better. A bigger club. Deluded bitter geordie. Have you seen your run in? 3 AWAY games and your poor away record. Home games against liverpool and arsenal. I would be worried if I was you your more likely to go down than. us. We will not only stay up comfortably we will compete for cups and the european places next season. Paolo will make us the fittest team in the league next season and we will invest in the squad. Oh yeah and our 6 League titles say your not a bigger club.

Agree0 Disagree2

Well that airport won't be getting used next season and if your players don't pick themselves up over the last 5 games you could use it for short distant flights to leeds Middlesbrough and Sheffield. as for playing to many games in the season and your players feeling tired most supporters around the country were warning Newcastle that there squad wasn't big enough to compete in all those games

Agree0 Disagree0

Bitter. Bitter. Bitter.
Fancy our run in compared to yours.
Hopefully Sunderland continue to fly high, whilst your lot on a downer.
Me thinks that the bitterness stems from worry. You could even join Boro in the lower leagues.

I have it very good authority from a current player that Pardew will be rewarded with an additonal improved deal in the summer due to getting us into the quarter finals of Europe. Yesterday was just a minor hick-up and there are to many people to have a go at the bloke after our thrashing yesterday. PARDEW IN!!

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Yeah, Ripping up the old contract and giving him a new one - for 18 months.

Agree0 Disagree0

Minor hick up? wats the rest of season been, fantastic,? totally crap season.!

Agree3 Disagree0

Even I think that this comes from one of our lot. Ha Ha.

Firstly I think Pardew is very negative. We have a squad of ball playing footballers HBA/Marveaux/Goufran/Sissoko/Cabaye YET our manager insists on hoofball! Sissoko murdered Chelsea from the right wing so Pardew plays him on his weaker left. Marvaeux, lovely left foot, so play him on the weaker right. ONE up front, yes ONE! And he is offside 80% of the time. Jonas left back? Haderia on bench? Personally, if we stay up, I would say thanks Alan but you have took us as far as you can. Blanc/Benitez/Moyes are just three managers who could take our squad forward with FOOTBALL not HOOFBALL.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Gutierrez played left back for Argentina.

To be honest, the team we put out yesterday playing a 4-2-3-1 system should have been able to beat Sunderland.

You cannot even compare the squads.

The tactics and team selection do not seem to be the problem, I am assuming the problems must be going on at the training ground.

By my guess we are scoring about 1 corner from every 250/300 floated in crosses. So why are we still floating in crosses instead of playing the ball short?

I think what is becoming apparent with our problems taking corners is big indicator of what the bigger problems are, and that is not addressing the problems and keeping the same approach even when it does not work.

Agree1 Disagree0

We also played a top quality side in the form of Benfica only 3 days before. There are obviously issues in lots of areas, delivery, tactics, player performance, team selection. To blame one person, whether that be Pardew, Cabaye or whoever, is ridiculous. However, there are clearly problems and they need to be addressed by all of the coaching staff and individual players. Let's just write this season off and hope that with some summer investment we can have another season like last year. Keep the faith.

Mackem here in peace,
Just wanted to say that although I thought we were by far the better team yesterday it could if been far different if you hadn't have had that goal ruled out and migs hadn't of saved from cisse, although we should of had a pen and that sess should of been through early in the match when Taylor fell over. Anyways just wanted to say good look for the rest of the season because although I would love to see you's go down for obvious reasons a season without a derby just isn't the same. Also sisoko Is one hell of a player by the way!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

You wanted it needed it and fought for it
Not a good team Blunderland but if they can keep a clean sheet they will be OK. But great saves by Miggy & a definatel goal ruled out (woukd have changed the game)helped you get the points
Just hope we both stay up

Agree1 Disagree2

Yes sunderland should of had two penalties and gouffran should of been sent off that would of changed the game also. You were well beaten and outclassed so stop being bitter and distrespecful. were called sunderland not blunderland after all we didn't blunder at all did we lol. tough run in for newcastle I fear for you and think your going down.

Agree0 Disagree1

You were massively better in the first half but over the course of the game it was fairly even. You were just much more clinical and incisive, and got lucky with the clearly onside goal

We need a major summer clearout LITERALLY!
We need a goalkeeper, 2 new full backs, 2 new centre backs, a striker, a PROPER winger (maybe santon), maybe a flairy playmaker.
IN:
Youth goalkeeper 1-3m
Rose 4m (Ino he played for sunderland but he's been very good, also gives santon the chance to play as a winger)
Lowton 3m
Douglas Free
Sakho 8m
Aubameyang 12m/Remy 8m
Jeremain Lens 6m (pacey, and can play striker)
Maybe Lallana 7m
OUT:
Jonas 3m
Coloccini
Simpson free
Gosling 2m
Williamson 1m
Obertan 3m
Harper free
Abeid
Maybe Tiote 10m
Maybe santon 12m (Because he'll want to leave if milan come in)
Shola Ameobi
Amalfitano 1m
Probs won't get all those players in and out BUT
All those players I listed in the ins, have good potential, and would give our squad a breathe of fresh air, a bit more desire, and competition.
Would love to see lowton and rose, both showing great potential. Douglas because he will be on the cheap, aubameyang because he's tall quick and has a lot of flair, not as much pressure on cisse. Lens is also a player similar to marveaux.
I'd be buzzing if that was our squad for next season.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Are you on f*****g drug's which right minded manager would give 3m for obertan would be extremely luck to receive a fee for him also 3m for Jonas who's leg's have gone and it would take at least nearly double the 4m you have quoted for rose who is better than santon who you have put a ridiculous price on have you actually watched newcastle this season 10m for tiote who has be appalling this season and was over run by Larsson yesterday who is not even a central midfielder

We sould stay up, qpr and reading are down, wigan have 2 games in hand and are 5 points behind, but villa, stoke, norwich and s*nderland all need to better our results for us to go down.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

That won't be hard to do you's have a hard run in 2 home 3 away

Agree1 Disagree0

Suddenly it is Newcastle who have the worst run in. 2 home games left against Liverpool and Arsenal. 3 away, West Brom, West Ham and QPR. So with your terrible away record and possibly no points at home you may well be facing relegation. Hope you remember this when you are slating Sunderland.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

We will beat West Brom, when we play bad we are bad, but we always bounce back because of the quality in the team.

Everton will make light work of you next Saturday.

One game is not going to change things for Sunderland, if you had beaten another team 3-0 I would have said well done, but, the fact you beat Newcastle, your game of the season, suggests that it will business as usual against everyone else.

Agree1 Disagree3

Quality in the team, ha ha, we will see, and all of a sudden you will start winning away from Sid James park, if that's the case you don't have any worries at all.

Reality check people. We have suffered this season due to constant injuries to key players. That coupled with our European games has contributed to our abysmal league form.
Rushing players back from injuries, or playing them when they have just played 3 games in 9 days is always going to result in tired performances.

Good players do not turn rubbish overnight. All those hammering the players who had an off day yesterday need to have a word. We are all annoyed that we allowed a really poor team like them lot down the road to win so convincingly yesterday, but that was only one game. let's not get on everyones back over what was just a very bad day at the office.
If anyone seriously thinks we should be selling Cabaye/Taylor/Anita, then I would ask who would we get in (that we could afford) to replace them. That's right we couldn't. What we need is better squad players that can come in and allow the top players to rest every now and then.

Lets get to the end of the season, get behind the lads, and see what happens in the summer. Attack the league and cups full throttle with an improved SQUAD, able to compete next season.

Let the makems have their moment in the sun. We all know that normal service will be resumed next time. (If they are still in the prem).

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Having a bad season does not contribute to the violent scenes on tv yesterday. dj

Reality check, attack the league and cups full throttle, (if you are still in the prem).

Agree0 Disagree0

This poster needs the reality check!

Look back towards the start of the season. before any injuries, before fatigue, before losing Ba, before there were any possible excuses. look at how abysmal we were over the two legs against Atromitos to qualify for Europa! those games showed how bad we were at the very start and its never got better! We've had so much luck allllll season.

If we don't play S/land next season it'll be because we go down!

Atromitos-won via lucky deflected Vuckic goal!

Villa at home we were shocking, took a stunner from HBA to rescue a point.

Everton away - They had 2 perfectly good goals disallowed!

Maratimo - amazing inspiring nil nil draw against a team of nobodies.

Reading away - Lucky Ba handball goal!

Man Utd home - battered!

S/land away - Unlucky in this one!

West Brom home - Luckiest flukiest winner ever!

Thats just some fixtures to the end of October. it highlights exactly how rubbish we were all season. not unlucky, but just rubbish. and fortunate to get some of the points we got!

Agree6 Disagree0

Wigan get handball winner
sunderland good goal ruled offside you get good luck you get bad luck that's football

after watching yesterdays game it was a bit like after the lord mayors show ( after playing well against benfica ) the ref ripped us off cisse's goal was legit ) niall quinn very biased against us done my heed in all thru the match. cabaye looked donald ducked from the kick off ( carrying an injury? ) anyway they won move on next match west brom ( ill take a draw from that game ) last thing cisse needs some help up front. geordie tom

Believable1 Unbelievable3

I am starting to wonder if Tiote coming into the team upset things, he was the only player that was in that was not involved in the Benfica game.

I do not think Tiote had a terrible game, but I worry about the amount of time he spends on the ball in the position he plays in, Tiote ends up doing most of our passing out from the back.

Mbiwa seems to be our only defender that can bring the ball out from the back with any poise, and Mbiwa's long balls are very good too.

Agree1 Disagree0

Tom - Ref ripped both teams off - what if he gives Cisse's goal but gives Sunderland the penalties - your papering over very wide cracks.

Agree5 Disagree0

I know m8 but the refs ar'nt consistent cost ( not just us ) points games status in the premier league ect. we didn't turn up for the game m8 ( think the players read the hype ) geordie tom

Played (one of the best technical teams in Europe) off the park on the second half on thurs, and today get destroyed by the dirth mackems! Jonas at lb was suicide. Mackems wanted it more, maybe of Cisse' s clear goal was allowed could have been different, but 0-3 at home to the mackems? Howay lads, sort it out!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Your luck had to run out sometime and your manager will be found out,,,,,,,,,,, just a cockney yes man to the owner

Agree3 Disagree1

We played ok from 60mins, not great. it could have been better if the manager gave the players a full 90mins to pull back a 2 goal deficit, rather than the negative trash we served up the 1st 60mins and the most of the season. PARDEW OUT. del
