With everything happening with Rangers looking like they will become a "new club" and their players looking like they could all be available on a free (depending on the legality of it all) would anyone consider any of their players for NUFC maybe not for first team but possible cover for ACON and Europa? if so who would you bring in?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Steven Naismith, Steve Davis and Allan Mcgregor (however Mcgregors good enough to be 1st choice at most clubs)

Agree1 Disagree1

Steven davies Alan magregor that's it

Naismith and maybe a few others, but not many, scottish prem is a tough league but nothing compared to the EPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not one of them would get in our starting 11 and our squad players are better so no.

Maurice Edu?

Agree0 Disagree3

Rangers owe a lot of money dont think they will be giving players away! {Ed001's Note - they won't have any choice when liquidated, the player's contracts become property of the SFA.}

Agree1 Disagree0

So would the SFA get all transfer funds for the players...? or would they put all players on free?

Agree1 Disagree0

What about Aluko, he's 23, very good player great feet.

Ed, what makes Nathaniel Clyne's situation different from Junior Hoillett?
Hoillett came through BR youth team and was said to worth no more than £3m at tribunal if he went to a English club, or less than £1m if he went to mainland European club.
So why are their reports of Clyne being worth £5m at tribunal?
would think the same rules apply, i.e. max of £3m or less as he's a championship player unproven at top level. {Ed001's Note - a lot is to do with the length of time they are at the club. Clyne was with Palace a lot longer than Hoilett was at Rovers.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It would be optimistic but we should definitely get both, Hoilett off Cisse's left would be brilliant linking up with HBA and Clyne is quick and a good young English player to firm up our weakest RB position.
