if they intend to keep Carver and Stone in charge until summer what is the point of interviewing people now, there may be more available in summer but there is only one we really want and we won't get him
I'd personally prefer to see us take our time in appointing the next coach. I'm encouraged by the approach so far. Maybe MA is looking at Southampton and what they have achieved since Pardew left!
Des, what approach is that, we havnt heard anything apart from people not wanting the job and maybe we have interviewed Remi Garde, as usual we supporters are treated like c. p

Destoon: we have no idea at all who's on Charnley's list. We know who the useless journos have listed - every unemployed Tom Dick and Harry - and most of them have said they're not after the job, but were McClaren, de Boer etc ever actually approached? Garde probably, but that's the lot. Can I just point out that Man U took a full month to appoint LVG after Moyes was sacked. And Lineker's an idiot. Does he really not know that transfers in or out don't involve the head coach at Newcastle?
I might be wrong but I think Carver and Stone have been part of our problem and if they stay until the summer things will only get worse, would just like to know a bit more of our intentions
