Uruguayan striker Abel Hernandez who currently plays for Palermo, said he "dreams" of playing for Newcastle United or Real Madrid.

He's a decent striker, I really rate him. Hopefully ashley sells up in the summer and we get a new owner with ambition, and Hernandez would be a great addition for us.

Dreams played to Newcastle what's this lad been smoking
A bit like Berbatov when he was younger I mean very younger and did not realise what a mess this club was

No calibre player. will come to this club it is a complete joke everybody outside of Newcastle city

I hate Ashley ok. Pardew is the manager he is responsible for the way we play
1. we can't take corners
2. we can cross the ball
3. we lose the ball immediately after a throw in
4. we don't seem to know the offside rule
5. we don't know how to defend (3 goals last night
came after Krul palmed the ball ) we are always late
reacting
6. no logic in our substitutions
7 doesn't give youth a chance
8. Krul takes free kicks from half way line (2 players
standing a couple of yards away)
9. when we go 2 goals down we give up
10, we always start slowly after half time
11 he keeps playing Cisse
12 he keeps playing Santon
13 he sent Adam Campbell to St Mirren

He is either blind, or just can't manage or maybe hasn't a clue about football. maybe all three

We need to be planning for next season now not in June July or August but now. we need proper wingers not cm adapting. out and out strikers not striker cum wingers. and we need a new manager

I know we need a new owner but can't see it happening

Roll on the Villa hwtl

At last someone with sense! been saying to people for ages that Pardew is simply not good enough, I am positive that a better manager would get more out of the players we have. even without Cabaye. Nothing much we can do about Ashley, he will NEVER walk away! he will want his money back simple as that. However, we can put presure on him to get Pardew out! the man seems to have lost the players

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets say we do get rid of Pardew, what sort of manager can we expect, I've said it once and ill say it again Di Matteo would be a good man to have but would he work under the regime we have at the minute? If Pardew is the problem how is it we do so well then Ashley comes along with something to cause problems, changes the stadium name, selling carroll under pardews nose, selling Cabaye, bringing in Kinnear. If we get rid of Pardew we are likely to be worse off as no one decent would come in. aulthough I agree a better manager may be able to get more from the players, but what message does it send out when Ashley is saying all players are for sale and shows no ambition?

Agree0 Disagree0

Trouble is, Pardew is doing exactly what Ashley wants, keeping us hovering around mid-table, safely below Europa places, safely above drop zone, and that's how MA judged it was safe to sell Cabaye for a healthy profit. At any normal club the manager's job would be on the line, but ours isn't a normal club. Unless and until poor results = serious drop in ticket sales Ashley won't see any need to sack Pardew. And given that TV money is now more important, even that might not be enough. Come the summer, he'll throw us some scraps to boost season ticket sales, and the diehards'll fall for the trick again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew for me is doing all he can, like I've said how do you motivate players when Ashley has clearly made it obvious that anyone at any point could be out the door and players can be replaced with cheaper alternatives, this shows lack of ambition and the players won't be getting a positive vibe from that. Ashley needs to go, Pardew going won't change a thing. We are merely a stepping stone to bigger and better things for players.

To score in 1 game (not 1 goal) out of 8 is shocking form for a striker never mind a team!

Im not sure getting rid of Pardew is the way forward, Ashley needs to go first then a new owner can come in and maybe then we can attract a decent manager, I would have Di Matteo. But he wouldn't come under the current regime. Pardew has done well considering the powers above him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ashley is going nowhere whilst he has a platform to advertise his sh#t everywhere and based on last nights attempt at protests it's not likely to change anytime soon!

Agree0 Disagree0

Loyalty cuts two ways - diehard fans are the ones keeping Ashley at NUFC, but there's no loyalty TO the fans from either MA or the players, who, let's face it, are just mercenaries. 52,000 for the Mackems, 42,000 for Spurs - more and more are getting the message!

Agree0 Disagree0

I read their was just over 48 thousand attended last night (not sure how many spurs fans), and this midweek game was never going to sell out unlike the mackem game so although I think your right that more are getting the message I fear there will never be enough to make any real difference!

Agree0 Disagree0

PFM: Telegraph reports attendance 42, 264.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do yous think Pardew is to blame though? I just think a lot of people have gave up on blaming Ashley and are starting to want Pardew out the door as they can't see Ashley leaving. For me though he's done well, problem is anytime we look to be in a position to kick on and push forward he hits a brick wall with players being sold, or lack of transfer activity or some other publicity stunt to upset the fans and once again get ashley some publicity for his beloved sports direct. I have heard rumours he is slashing prices on all the stock and basically asset stripping the club which is a sign that he's making what he can and looking to sell up. Not sure if its true or just an optomistic view from myself :/

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope that's true mate! Tbh I don't mind pardew obviously we could do better but we could also do a hell of a lot worse so better the devil you know! I do however think pardew could surround himself with better coaches!

I think even the Balance sheet supporters have got to admit now that our management team are not up to premier league standard. Pardew/Carver/Stone? What other premier league team would employ them three? Sissoko, Marv, Cisse, all exciting players when signed, are now a shadow of themselves as soon as our coaching team got at them. 6 yrs of Ashley ownership = ONE relegation, ONE top ten finish and knocked out of the domestic cups in early rounds and sometimes by lower league clubs. Pardew needs to grow some, tell everyone how it is, or just go. Maybe he knows he will never get a high profile job again so he will continue to tell lie after lie to our superb support and crawl on his hands and knees to Ashley.

Couldn't agree more

pardew in or pardew out

howay lads let's have your vote

Agree0 Disagree0

The thing is it was rumoured early on that Pardew was in debt to Ashley from casino debts that's why he's working as manager there to pay off his debts.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it was Llambias he owed money to.}

I would say Pardew in, purely because there's no one else who would come in to do the Job, not any one whos going to make a difference anyway. Had us playing some nice football this season but we've lost a key player in Cabaye, everything went through him and now he's not there and hasn't been replaced. Ashley out, Pardew in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I knew it was one of them. Either way I don't think he's been a bad manager, always seems to have things going well then Ashley does something to rock the ship.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get Ashley out first. Then I'd sack pardew and get in either Bielsa or laudrup

Agree0 Disagree0

Not Ladrup Again JT change the record man

Agree0 Disagree0

He was asking for pardew out? Ashley is main priority no good just talking about it online we need to actually do somethingn

The fault is entirely Ashley's Stop calling for Pardew to be replaced. All the clever people what team would they have put out against Spurs. We are S. e and deserve to be relegated and might be yet as this team is divoid of ideas passion and commitment.

Stay Away it is helping nobody just Ashley. Fickle or what?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Stop calling for Pardew to be replaced? This team is devoid of ideas, passion and commitment? Who puts the ideas, passion and commitment into the players with teamtalks, tactics etc etc? PARDEW that's who. Time for this clueless man and his coaching team to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair comment time for EVERYONE to go, Ashley is the main priority though

the quicker this seasons over the better. we need a rebuild from the manager down. we need people with some fresh ideas at the club. watching the match last night it hurt no passion off the players. we need Ashley to release some decent funds in the summer. I've said all along we need a pacy C/F. a ball playing midfielder. a winger who can beat the full backs and cross the ball. and first and formost get rid of the sh. te who call them selfs professional footballers. if nowts done we are are on a slippery slide to nowhere. never say much usually but really pi. ed off with it now

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ashley isn't going to give any funds no matter who the manager is. boycott and force him out, he's tearing the heart and soul out of the club time for change

Surely if your main tactic you use through the majority of the season where your main catalyst is your best player I. e Cabaye, then surely you should have a plan B that is BALANCED and EVERYONE can contribute, so we can cope without the main catalyst?

It's beyond me. The players just don't care and they pnviously don't listen to pardew, the coaches can't get the best out of our players.

If Ashley doesn't leave the club with in the next year, maybe less, then (it's sad to say but) it's only a matter of time before Sunderland overtake us. They have an owner with ambition, a bright young manager who's got them playing some fantastic football, and most of all they have players who CARE, have PASSION and DETERMINATION. We had that when we had Barton, Nolan, Carroll, Simpson etc.

Another shocking game the players are far from great but even if we had a team of pub players the least I'd expect is some passion and effort. Sissoko having a laugh with the Spurs players straight after the whistle went in a game we've just lost 0-4 sums it up perfectly.
I'd be more than happy with Pardew going but we wouldn't get the type of manager we want it would be a British manager either out of work or from the lower divisions so it doesn't cost much.
