Lots of praise for JB none mention how poor he was with the deadball situations he took (unusualy) Thought he left to much space between himself and Simpson who was decent 7.Overall thought JB was 7.RAylor battled playing LB but clearly it is his wrong side but he hung in 7
Thought SAylor & Colocini were rock solid 9 Krul was good but didnt think he cleared out quick enough to start counter attacks 8. Jonas played very resonsibly on his defensive duties didn't quite do as well in the attack 7.Ba & Shola are to similar and neither twigged Gunners were 5 yards off the half way line so were offside X many 6. Obertan is quick and works hard for those who said he was a Routledge you were a mile away.This is a player who will win games for us 8.
Tiote ranged from brilliant to poor didn,t quite look as comfortable as last season clearly needs more game time 6. Cabeye also showed both ends of the game but overall he oozes class with his passing and is'nt afraid to put his foot in 7.
Report would say satisfactory but can do better and overall left the ground feeling that we have the fundimentals in the squad to have a successfull season if we get the LB and a pacy striker as promised.

We were never going to see the best of Cabaye against a team that keeps possession of the ball for fun we will see him at his best when he can get on the ball more. Thought Krul did great with what he did do.

I think shola played well however he was isolated.he won headers left right and centre but no-one was there to pick up the pieces. and tiote played a much betta game than cabaye, he did his job, won tackles and when ever he got the ball, straight away it wud be passed on to the free man. i think ur ratings are wrong for them 2.

Guy above, tiote was lucky, as does no one remember that crap pass he played which was intersepted and Arsenal nearly scored. Also in my honest opinion gervinho should have got the penalty as it was a foul in the box. However no one can argue in the aftermath he should have been sent off. Overall poor display by tiote but he's still in my opinion the 2nd best DM in the EPL, and I hope he dominates the mackems next week. Scottoon

open your eyes,gervinho should have got a nailed.,on pen,instead he gets sent off,bartons problem was he tried to rough up song but the opposite happened,song had barton in his pocket he was immense today,so the wee weasel barton thought he rough up the arsenal new boyrobbie savage in disguise me thinks,no wonder hes disliked.disgrace

Are you saying if a player gets "roughed up" it's ok to stamp on someone maybe you should check the Newcastle v Wolves game last season everyone of their players targeted Joey and he didn't react. Also Messi gets kicked to pieces every game but he rises above it and doesn't stamp on players.

Barton was on the wing for all of the 1st half and half of the second. so song hardly had him in his pocket, they were in ddifferent positions and the only time song had him was when he horribley stamped on him scum.

Anyone know why Marveaux was missing tonight? Have I missed an injury? And if anyone knows why Ba was taken off aswel that would be fantastic :) As for Barton, not condoning what he did, should of just kept out of it, but Gervinho is a diving little sh*t and deserved red carded for his 2 blatant dives alone, never mind the slap, Song should of been off aswel so I dont think the gooners can have to many complaints at how it all finished :) pd

Marveaux just isn't quite match fit and Ba was just a tactical subsitution.

We desperately need some pace upfront. Loven is useless. If Ashley wastes money on Bendtner then we're done for. Ba needs a skilful pacy striker to play with. We have too many big men and it forces us into playing long balls. Get a decent striker and we can play on the deck - which would suit Cabaye, who will come good if we play to his strengths. Ashley needs to get his wallet out. Even Defoe would be ok - he is exactly the type of player we need. Oh, and a left back because Ryan Taylor is a Championship player at best.

What's with the Barton bashing? Think he proved today that he would die for the club Looked three times the player Cabaye was (not that I'm writing him off after one game). We're gonna need someone like Barton if we're gonna stay up. Obertan looked decent as well.

What do we think then?
Would of took the draw before hand being honest.
But 4 strikers used and not one looked like scoring.
Hopefully get some players in this week. Lambias even says in the programme we need 2-3 players.
Obertan looked a different player. Barton looked like he would run through a brick wall for the Club. But same problem of having nobody upfront to bang a chance away. 17/2 Ameobi first scorer? I'd of given 10/1 on his 1st shot hitting the target

cabaye marveaux abeid better than what has gone how do you know this how many people been to france to watch them play abeid never even played in 2nd division never mind top flight in france. think everyone are hoping they are as good as tiote and potential shown in the few games by ben arfa. if not then a hard season will follow as for todays game ye need to pick something up from an understrength arsenal.

i think it was amazing how well the likes of teams like blackpool, wba, wigan, newcastle etc did last season, didnt really spend alot, i think it will be funny this season when u get the teams that havent spent alont hang in there and the teams that have spent a fortune end up sacking there managers cos they arent performing.AP isnt doing so bad, mid table last season and probs mid this season but, we didnt spend anything yet, cant complain as a geordie really
