Results have gone our way today. We're setup to go 11th if we win the derby, and its a must win. No excuses for not winning the derby, our squad is way better than there's. McClean, sessegnon, johnson are their only decent players apart from mignolet. They have a slow back four and central midfield (apart from rose), killgallon reminds me of willo, bardsley is just so weak, bramble is just an accident waiting to happen, o'shea is solid but slow. Rose is quick but he'll be up against sissoko and marveaux.
Nothing but a win will do.
Well i'm not predicting anything for tomorrow as I think it will be a tough game for us there won't be much in it and I think whoever scores first won't get beat for 2 reasons if its Newcastle then we won't score 2 if we score 1st I can't see Newcastle getting 2 to beat us as you have pointed out our defence is slow and poor but we have conceded 8 goals less than Newcastle up to now. let's hope whoever wins or if the game is a draw its on merit and not down to some poor referee's decisions so we can come on these pages tomorrow and have some sensible banter about the game and may the best team on the day win. obviously hoping its sunderland.

Mclean looked good last season until a certain steve you lot know a lot about him guppy started to give him one on one tuition hopefully now he has departed we might see mclean getting back to somewhere near his best hopefully starting today

What's everyone's teams for Sunday?
I'm not sure I want tiote to start, he's become a liability.
Should shola start? He could give us good luck but wed have to play 442 which might be a bit of a risk. i'd rather us over run them in the midfield. Ndiaye and larsson are as slow as, so maybe cabaye, anita DMs and sissoko in the free role. Ben arfa won't be fit to start, he'll come on at 60mins, so I think this should be the team:

Yep, the 4-4-2 looks good, to be fair as long as Shola's on, I think I'd put Jonas on, he was pretty good t'other night! Cisse needs to watch his runs, his offsides were ridiculous and we have to get momentum going on Sunday, stop/starts for his offsides will spoil the plan methinks, the scum'll be watching for them.

Disappointing going out we need a trophy but, possibly the Capital One Cup because the past 3 winners (at the time) are worse than us Swansea, Liverpool, and Birmingham
