Southampton have been linked today with an £8 million move for Wilifred Zaha and Nathanial Clyne.... Why have we not been linked with this move? Clyne has been a target at RB for a while now, and Zaha is a great up and coming striker come winger, which we need as cover for Ba and Cisse. Surely the mightly toon would be a more desirable location for the both of them, considering the persistent links with Simpson to reading, and that we've lost two strikers.
I think because United are still trying to sign Debuchy (only one full back coming in I'd suspect) and Zaha is not that good and vastly overpriced.
But we would still have to pay compensation for clyne, which is rumoured to be about 3 million, so getting zaha for 5 million isn't too bad a deal
Clyne yes ,Zaha no imo.
