One Question. is everyone's glass still half full OR half empty??
Half full if we get a decent head coach like Garde, FDB or Tuchel
Half full vida. Cabellas performance saturday showed he would have been pardewed by the end of the season. We have some good players, a good scouting system and if we can get a good coach we can see some exciting footy again.

Think Vic is the honest one he is absolutely right and for he sake of everyone I hope we can just get through this season I here Carver will stay in charge until the Summer
So anything positive is a bonus. You all deserve better and one day it will change when Ashley sells up.

Perhaps some people are naturally optimistic (crucial if you are a NUFC supporter of 33 years).
Desree: it's over 60 for me, and for about 58 yrs I was also optimistic. I even accept the 'buy 'em cheap, sell 'em dear' logic, but giving up on the cups, coupled with last season's abysmal second half has ruined everything for me. Ashley's got the structure right (IMO) but the policy wrong. For me, evidence of ambition is the key. Until that comes along, they can all rot in hell, owner, board, coaches and players.
Desree and vic just like you two I've been a supporter of newcastle a long time ( over 50 years ) so if your honest we have seen everything ie Lord Westwood ripping us off to the present day with Ashley doing the same. there's never a year goes by without the s. it hitting the pan . so yeah i agree with all you have to say. my thoughts
Optimism and Truth do not go together Desree. Not at Newcastle anyway
Speculation and Truth also hardly ever go together and after 33 years of watching NUFC you know exactly what I mean by saying they are a 2nd rate club and team because of one person.
Fans live in hope that Ashley sells in 2016 however sooner would be better.
