Use our rumours form to send us newcastle transfer rumours.

I think we can only sum up yesterday's performance as being tactically inept. it wasn't a good decision by Pardew to play 4-4-2, but at least he came out and admitted he was wrong. Besides, we were playing against Spurs, one of the best teams in Europe right now, with players like Bale who would probably make it into a World 11. Let's not dwell too long on this, and just hope Ashley brings in some quality players in the summer

There are still points to play for, we are in the accidence, our form has come at the right time considering the Jawdeeee SB handicap we had in charge. Your form and the leaking of goals however is just the start of your downward spiral. Sunderland will still Finnish above the mags! mark (my words)

it just shows that we dont have depth in the squad Simpson Williamson Obertan Perch and Jonas just not good enough even on the bench. at 4 0 then 5 0 why not bring BenArfa on or Abeid what was the point of Lovenkrans
Believable2
Unbelievable0
Every time I read a post someone slags Simpson off. give the guy a break he might not be top drawer but he's the best right back at the club ( santon at lb) and we can't do anything now til the summer.lets face it we had the best defensive record in the leAgue before saylor was injured and Simpson Definately played a part in that
Agree4
Disagree3
Danny simpson has saved at least 3 goals off the line this season, that could have been the difference between 3 wins and 3 draws, that is 6 points saved! Leave the guy alone he has been a consistent team player this season and has not had injuries and never stops running.

I agree about Perch. Yeah he has had a good few weeks and might be ok for a one off cover or sub here and there but he is not good enough for a regular starting place. Yeah he's been good in the middle the few games he's been there, but to start him against tottenham is crazy. I also think Pardew got carried away with he Cisse hype from last week and should have started with either Ben Arfa or Gosling instead.

Sad sad people its only a couple of games ago blackburn to be precise who had over 20 shots and failed to score that most of you were saying how good of a game perch had good today s**te tomorrow

Sooner lee clark comes back to were he belongs the better sick of cockneys at the toon
Agree4

What a load of s**te we were completely outplayed yesterday But what has that got anything to do with Ashley? All it shows is we don't have enough strength in depth when our main players are missing.
Agree7
Disagree5
Wasnt that last week when everyone said they think pardew ad ashley have proved them wrong, as I said ages ago as soon as you lose the cockney mafia haters are back on. Fickle Fans, gimme 5 anyone!
Agree2

We did ourselves no favours did we. Sloppy passing and lazy defending. Bad day at the office. Need to bounce back with 6 points from the next 2 home games. Keep the faith.
Agree3

I agree the sooner we have a geordie manager ther better Lee clark fits the bill or what about steve bruce he did sign some good players for that lot down the road and hes one of us.
Agree5
Disagree7
This is the daftest post I've seen replace pardew with Bruce because he's a Geordie. So what why not go the whole hog and give it to the bloke that sells the chronicle outside central station! Ridiculous makes me sad to be Geordie reading comments like that
Leazes end mag
Agree4

Why was none of this brought up last week when we beat villa? U cant tell me getting hammered off spurs was a shock?? lets just be real eh the lads have done well this season and stop being fickle we were out classed simple as that

I would like to see lee clark and steve bruce together at our club a good pairing.

When I first read this last comment I thought it was a mackem winding us up but on second thought I like the idea 2 geordies through to the bone, go get em ashley.

And ye were outclassed by villa and blackburn as for some fans wanting steve bruce as manager its unbelievable the guy hasn't got a clue if ye lose pardew ye will be doomed

Have a theory , ....….. Harry red would be perfect for England ! Why ? He plays with panash , pace , and style , open attractive football ! ........ Cup football , will never nd I mean never win a prem league , need on occ to play ugly football and grind out results to win leagues , it's great to watch but over 38 / 40 games ,impossible , wish you could , we should know very similar under kk . England is tournament football and short term , perfect for him , what you recon ? My next thory is on moneil , but that is another day , here endith the lesson !

One off , but even with their style , they must have won some games ugly or lucky . Don't get me wrong would love to see it , but not realistic over so many games .
