I think we can only sum up yesterday's performance as being tactically inept. it wasn't a good decision by Pardew to play 4-4-2, but at least he came out and admitted he was wrong. Besides, we were playing against Spurs, one of the best teams in Europe right now, with players like Bale who would probably make it into a World 11. Let's not dwell too long on this, and just hope Ashley brings in some quality players in the summer

so a right towzing by spurs did pardew try to get his team to play against them tacticaly we were usless and ashley is a spurs fan i think pardew wants the spurs job when rednapp goes for england and ashley wont stop him we will get lee clark back which is great by me

What a load of s**te we were completely outplayed yesterday But what has that got anything to do with Ashley? All it shows is we don't have enough strength in depth when our main players are missing.

I agree the sooner we have a geordie manager ther better Lee clark fits the bill or what about steve bruce he did sign some good players for that lot down the road and hes one of us.

This is the daftest post I've seen replace pardew with Bruce because he's a Geordie. So what why not go the whole hog and give it to the bloke that sells the chronicle outside central station! Ridiculous makes me sad to be Geordie reading comments like that

Why was none of this brought up last week when we beat villa? U cant tell me getting hammered off spurs was a shock?? lets just be real eh the lads have done well this season and stop being fickle we were out classed simple as that

I would like to see lee clark and steve bruce together at our club a good pairing.

When I first read this last comment I thought it was a mackem winding us up but on second thought I like the idea 2 geordies through to the bone, go get em ashley.

I Would'nt look to much into yesterdays result Spurs for me are the best team in the prem at the min. We were always gonna struggle with Obertan, Perch and Simpson playing.
