Well well well. Look at all the Martinez lovers. 5 weeks ago I said we should get him as manager and I got nowt but verbals off aload of you saying why would we what martinez? all he does is fight relegation.

Roberto Martinez would never go to Newcastle utd. He has far to much class to manage a horrible club like Newcastle.
He is nailed on to manage Everton. A peoples club with class, respect they are the perfect fit.
Imagine Martinez working with Ashley after he's relationship with Whelan. Kenwright would offer Martinez the same support he did Moyes and let him run Everton and have a big say in everything Everton do, the same has whelan has at Wigan. Ashley would be a nightmare to work for a horrible man wouldn't trust him would you.

Martinez likes working with flair player, that would mean Newcastle would be a better choice than Everton.
Everton have physical players, we have the kind of squad Martinez would like to work with - plus, I reckon he would like working with Carr on recruits.

After reading all the headlines I feel like Pardew wants to walk out of the club, because he would get a big fat cheque from Ashley for breaking the contract. Tactically, our team is the worst in the league I guess, playing the same hoofball, and only one receiver (Cisse), so its easy for other teams all they have to do is mark Cisse. By our current form, I think we'd be lucky if we could salvage a point at QPR, but I really want us to win and get us to safety with ease.

With Astons Villa loss today to Chelsea, 41 points is now guaranteed safety even if wigan beat arsenal. I know its was pretty much assumed that 41 would stay up but to get the win and just guarantee it mathematically will be good and take all this unwanted pressure on a group of players who are in a rut.

Our back four against West Ham cost more, just goes to show what a good manager can do, Martinez could sit around and make excuses about not having a big enough squad or not getting enough money for transfers but he doesn't he gets on with it and gets the best out of what he has. our manager on the other hand will make excuse after excuse.

I agree, but I'm eaving my opinion down to ashley. If ashley keeps pardew then I will be 100% behind pardew next season, if he sacks him, then I will only be happy if we hire someone like martinez, Girard or Benitez.

What do people think of Roberto Martinez as pardews replacement? I mean he's on a tight budget at wigan, but he gets them playing some great football, especially today against city. Developed players like maloney, Moses, mcmanaman, mccarthy. But they're always In a relegation scrap and look like they're going to be relegated but still could win the FA cup. Ed what do you think? {Ed052's Note - Martinez is a good manager in my opinion. However, I cannot see him moving to Newcastle}

Ed, have you heard the rumour that qpr will blood some yougsters tomorrow for prep for life in the championship, anything you can add to that? {Ed052's Note - I cannot see that happening no. QPR have already been embarrassed this season, so they wont want it to get any worse!! I can see Redknapp rotating his squad a bit thought, to see who he wants to keep and who he wants to go}

Sick of people saying 'pardews only had one bad season'. He only had one good season and even then the standard in the prem last season wasnt amazing!
The thing is you are only as good as your last season. Pardew has clearly lost the dressing and the confidence of the players which is not surprising when you look at our style of play and his inept tactics add to the fact he continues to play Jonas who has been a passenger all season. His subs aren't much better take off a mobile player and through on the handbrake that is Strolla. His time is up and he knows it.

I actually think for the first time ashley might sack pardew in the summer. Apparently pardew had a pop at ashley, not sure if true, but he's having a meeting with ashley whether pardew is the right man or not. I only want to get rid of pardew if we get in Rene Girard, rafa benitez, blanc or you know like a foreign manager, who can communicate with everyone at the club, his speciality is like technical and attractive football.
