Its strange that No-one on here has noticed it yet so i will point it out. Wigan want 10m for Nzogbia, we offer 5m, Reading want 7m for Long, we offer 3.5m, PSG wanted 8m for Erding, we offer 5m. Get it? We are offering low so as to get knocked back then Fat Mike doesnt have to spend anything BUT can say, '' We went for a few players'' . The man is a con man and pardew is just a puppet in the firing line.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

There just trying to get players at their cheapest prices if they go in cheap then they are most likely to pay top wack for every player

Agree1 Disagree0

So how come a fee was agreed for Erding with PSG, Wigan haven't received an official bid yet and we're not interested in Long???

Agree1 Disagree0

Would you rather be like Liverpool and pay massively over the odds for every player we get?

Agree0 Disagree1

Think ule find we havnt even offered fr n'zogba, we had a bid accepted from PSG fr erding and we had a 8.5m offer accepted from reading fr long and is currently in talks. so stop wining and get ya facts right before you come on this page nd talk crap

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the long whos at wba for talks something wrong if cant compete on that deal

we should take a risk on a striker abroad. Look how good Hernandez is for man united

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Yeh look how good bebe was as well lol

Agree5 Disagree1

Luque should've been better than Hernandez... but he became worse than wor shola

Agree3 Disagree0

11 Jul 2011 17:56:33
Don't get why people are wanting Shola and best away before lovenkrands, he is the worst player I have seen upfront for newcastle in a long time

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Keep Best get rid of Loven and Shola

Agree7 Disagree3

Its a shame, Lovenkrands seems like a really nice lad, but he's sh*te.

Agree7 Disagree2

Scored more goals than both of them the season in championship well for NUFC he did but best got a few for coventry

i've been a newcastle fan for 19years since i new what football was and if we sign bendtner i give up

Believable0 Unbelievable3

I understand why most don't want him but i think he would be a good signing however the chronicle says Newcastle arn't looking at him.

Agree2 Disagree1

He going to dortmund and is in germany for talks now Arsenal released this info this morning

Is it only me that is sick of coming on a NEWCASTLE page and seeing that every other message is from a SMB I mean ffs do they not have anything better to do? I don't understand why they want to come on our page. For me going on a page that has anything to do with Sunderland turns my stomach. It's the forbidden land right? I couldnt give a **** less what there doing and who there signing the only time I take any interest in them is on the second game of the season when we give them another 5-1 stuffing.

Only mackems would do this, with no life and nothing better to do. I bet that you don't get other rivals putting 'rumours' on each others page.
On the other hand stop trying to compare signings Your PANIC BUYING. I would rather not buy than panic buy. Admittedly I would have taken wickham, possibly gardener but he's no loss. Aside from that wes brown is ****. Oshea is very average and very injury prone (why would fergie let him go if he is half decent). Larsson is very average. There's another few that I've never heard of and the rest I can't even remember there that mesely.

So to all you SMB's go back to your own page and don't infect ours with your nonsense.

No doubt one will reply to this...

Howay

{Ed042's Note - Do me a favour lads, keep the profanity to a minimum, get some great banter between the toon and mackems, worth having on the page most of the time, but if its just abuse without a point behind it or complete nonsense it wont be posted in future.. not aimed directly at you by the way Howay, just a related post to make the point}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I think you should have a look at the sunderland page and see how many of your lot are doing the same. it works both ways. it's only banter so stop crying.

Agree3 Disagree2

Haha u can hold ur crying untill the derby im sure u will be in tears as u get beat again

Agree0 Disagree1

The banter on both pages always quite good and just adds spice to the games we play Think there is equal amount of fans from both clubs on both sites so not an issue really Come on its hurting no one to have banter

{Ed042's Note - Exactly, nothing wrong with a bit of banter.. and as much as the opener with Arsenal will be brilliant, cant wait till the derby, mackems out to get revenge, toon knowing it`ll be even sweeter if we do them because of it, should be an absolute cracker!}

Alan Pardew on the verge of making 2 major coups in the transfer market, Marlon Harewood 1.5m and Jason Roberts 2m have all but agreed terms and now the club are waiting to confirm the deal once the money from the transfer of Tiote to Arsenal is freed up, that deal will be confirmed in the next 2 days. Unfortunately for Alan Pardew he is upset about not having been given major funds off Mike Ashley so the N'zogbia to newcastle will never happen as newcastle don't have 10m to spend never mind 20m

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Arrr poor you your lifes so s**t you have to sit on our page and make sad little stories like this up. Grow up you immature little mug.

Agree2 Disagree2

I thought it was sunderland who were selling there midfielders to the big boys and then getting relegated rejects in instead... obviously i'm mistaken

Agree1 Disagree1

Not even a poor rumour Come on have some imagination

Agree1 Disagree0

And your fans don't come on our page and do the same? so does that mean your fans who do the same on our page are immature little mugs aswell? Relegated Rejects?? you mean two of them who you failed to sign Larsson and Gardner, bet if they had signed for you they would be quality players. hypocrite bigtime

Agree0 Disagree2

You know what it could be true

Agree0 Disagree2

Coming on and having digs at people not really very grown up is it? Just keep it to the banter lads and cut out the personal crap NUFC will not sign any of these players Had harewood couple of seasons ago too so not gonna be bringing him back

I think wev got the squad to stay up comfortably this season but we desperately need two more strikers as I dont think we will get a full season out ov ba, there was 5 or 6 games last season we dominated but cudnt hit the back ov the net, a new rb aswell to stop all the goals we concede from the right hand side, sort this out and we can push on for a top 10 finnish

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Couldn't agree more we deffo have a good enough squad to stay in the league, but mike ashley needs to dip his hands into his pockets and buy a couple of strikers, i dont think 1 striker will do as if ba is very injury prone and will be playing in african cup of nations and if we get sow he also will be playing in the tournament soo ideally we need 2 more strikers not playing in african cup of nations and so we can keep our options open, hopefully a well established striker with a proven record and a striker with future potential, id be very happy with that, also need a winger, left back if jose goes and like u said maybe a right back i think we have enough talent in goal and dont need to make any changes there, but im being optimistic and do deffo think we will finish in top 10 mayb even europa league spot if im being cheeky

Agree1 Disagree2

Big mike has dipped his hands in his pockets but theres nothing there it must be those clowns trousers he wears the same ones on match day with his clowns top

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh well at least we don't need take that to sell the st. James out, there the only over-hyped hasbeens that will be watched wiv a full capacity at the stadium of sh*te this year

Agree0 Disagree0

The money generated from take that i would like that every year

Agree1 Disagree0

I would too but just for me SAFC dont get all the ticket money from bands playing there It goes to the band and organisers of the tour and the venue gets a rental fee of around 30 to 40k

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus a profit from food and drink

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but seriously we don't need take that for revenue were real fans that would support any sh*te in black and white just look at our attendances for the last 6 years of crap

To the person who wrote this

"a bid has been lodged for Marlon Harewood at 1.5m and has been accepted, Pardew see's him as an ideal striker to score the goals to keep newcastle in the premiership. Shane Long deal is no longer on as Mike Ashley has said there is not 8.5m to spend, he has told him he has 5m tops out of the 35m left"

Why you even thought to waste 30 seconds of your day writing this nonsense is beyond me

Ed u have anything to say on this comment?

Geo {Ed042's Note - Long negotiations still ongoing as far as I know, as for Harewood, not a chance, not in the age bracket, not worth 1.5 million, no resale value, just a wind up from mackems, new signings obviously arnt that exciting for them to talk about? who knows!}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Hey ed our signings are better than you will sign, much better in fact, but why wind the sad geordie b******* up by writing about them, hahaha stick with you lower end players and unproven frogs, mind they might be alright when u r back in the fizzy pop league next year, FTM
{Ed042's Note - Not one to slag off the sunderland signings, actually think theres been a couple of astute ones in there... as far as the toon.. look one out, four in, and two more from Jan, with a couple more to come hopefully, suggests a better side and better depth, with a weaker league than last year at the bottom, just cant see us being caught up in it lad sorry!}

Agree2 Disagree0

Dont think you will either ED, but some of u r fans live in cloud cuckoo land, why cant they accept that there is no money to spend, but they still bleat on about paying millions for this one and millions for that one.

{Ed042's Note - There is funds, just not 35 million.. happens all the time at clubs when a sale is made like that, fans expect signings of 10 to 15 million to come in, and more so creates impatience for it to happen... but genuinely think what the club is doing is the right way to go, have splashed out recklessly all too many times before and where did it end up? think we already have a better team and squad than last season, month and a half to go before the start of the season, should be a few more in the door and we`ll be fine.. top ten finish is the realistic target for this year, stearing clear of battle at the bottom alltogether}

Agree2 Disagree0

I can remember when ye went down all the talk and not just from newcastle fans where we are too good to go down so dont think its gonna be a bad league as qpr will have money to spend and if the rumours are right are looking at signing 2 decent forards in campbell and bothroyd

Agree0 Disagree2

Erm 2 points if ever there's an expert on relegation from the premier league it's your armchair army ( look at the records up and down lyk a makem single mothers nickers and point 2 it's the npower league get ur facts ryt

Can't wait for Gervinho to stick a hat trick past your sorry team come the first day of the season

Ben

Believable4 Unbelievable5

If he plays he been left out of the gunners trip away cos he hasnt trained all summer so there is a chance he wont play

Agree0 Disagree2

Yeh and his old mate Tiote to draw level in the 90th u moron

Agree6 Disagree2

Cant wait to see ben arfa do it at the other end.

nathan

Agree4 Disagree2

He won't get 3 touches of the ball, due to any player worth anything wants away from your school bothering manager, and mute fans. No Nasri, No Cesc, who next? Can see RVP getting off if you lot are not careful.
Col

Agree1 Disagree0

Can wait to see bramble, o'shea and brown try and tackle ben arfa Its going to bring comedy value back to the premier league

Agree4 Disagree1

F*** me he only played a couple of games for you's, and you think hes gonna run rings round everyone, when he realises how tough this league is, you will find out he's not as good as you think.

Agree1 Disagree4

I think you will find that he is a top class player and lets be honest even jonas could run rings around oshea and brown

Agree3 Disagree0

He will be injured by then allong with all the other crocks

Agree1 Disagree1

He did would have had more joy if wasnt for vidic Face it if these 2 were top class fergie wouldnt have let them go They will plod on for couple of years but nothing spectacular like Butt did for us and in the past ince, kanchelskis, and smicheal. all good players but at end of there cycle when fergie lets them go apart from ronaldo who had to go as the money was too good to turn down

Agree0 Disagree0

No one mentioned that oshea and brown were top class certainly not s/land fans, they were bought for one thing, they have experience at the top, which might prove invaluable, next season, and give the midfield and forwards more confidence, and ben arfa is not top class, wait till he spits his dummy out when things go wrong.

Agree0 Disagree1

Ben arfa was rated as the top young player breaking thru a couple of years ago and had giants chasing him but then it seemed to go to his head a little and he become hard to manage but if he as finally grown up and plays the way he can then NUFC have a star on their hands and we all know it thats why we all watching with anticipation for him to come back Mackems are jealous we got him and thats being proven by the way they snipe towards him You know what they say " All the good players that are dangerous get stick off opposition fans and are targets for abuse"

All this talk of a takeover afer the darlo game is a bit strange if you ask me. There would have been some kind of press leak and it would be all over the internet not just on this website. If somebody has concrete evidence of a takeover then share it with us or have you just heard it from a friend of a friend of a friend that cleans MA office and went through his e-mails or his rubbish bin. There are some things that could ring true about though.

1. Ashley refuses to spend big sugesting a takeover (never has never will)
2. A Qatari investment group wants a club in England
3. Ashley has taken the club as far as possible and now wants to sell

REASON TAKEOVER WONT HAPPEN
1. Ashley is making money out of the club
2. Anybody interested must buy a five year box deal to show there intent (no 5 year boxes have ben sold)
3.Qatari investment group has only just taken over PSG anf FIFA rules state two clubs with same owner cannot meet in compititons ie. Europa Leauge

If anybody can shed any light on this then feel free to do so.
ps. ED have you heard anything suggesting a takeover that could happen as early as next week.

TOON4LIFE {Ed042's Note - Nothing concrete, very rare these things are kept this well under wraps though which would suggest its just a story stemmed from them saying they`d like a club in England}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

11 Jul 2011 12:43:31
I have am one of those fans who believes Ashley is turning the club round on the finance side. I also believe that the many fans are ready to give him the benefit of the doubt. However this will back fire if he dont spend some good money on a top quality striker. Come on Mike you have a chance with the Toon Army, DONT LET US DOWN.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Me too I dont like the man in general but from a business point of view he has done well for the club I work as a business analyst and the signs are good and positive that get this year out of the way and when all clubs start to fall in line with new euro rules then NUFC will be one of the more prominant teams financially as all teams have to work with what they take in and that will help push us further on as we are one of the most financial secure teams and will take in a real healthy profit each year now we are of sound finacial state

Agree3 Disagree1

I think it is absolutley ridiculos that the wear tyne derby is not on sky sports, in stead they show s**te games like fulham vs blackburn when they can have a top class derby game instead its always nice to come home and watch the match over again when you have recorded it on sky plus, sky sports needs to sort it out

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Buy a ticket.

Agree2 Disagree1

How will buying a ticket help him watch it when he gets home

Agree2 Disagree1

I think the point was that he will be buying a ticket.. but its nice to watch it again. highlights etc.

how many tickets do you think will be allocated to newcastle fans? not enough for all of us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Youll all be walking out after 20 mins anyway

Agree0 Disagree3

You wont even be there watching at your empty stadium

11 Jul 2011 09:43:04
just read in this mornings paper arsenal want £9 million for bentnar ....and wigan want £20million for Nzobia ....dont think we'll get any of them to much money ..with wages included ...the clubs not going to pay that much out what other people think would be nice to know any more rumours flying around..?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Bentner will go for 7 mill nzog for 8 mill

Agree4 Disagree0

As much as i hate to say it nzogbia will probs be going to sunderland for 10 mill they are making him their main target coz apprenty they are a left winger short.

Agree1 Disagree5

Bendtner going to germany to dortmund and there is no way zog is ever going to be worth 20 million

Agree1 Disagree0

Sunderland have pulled out of the running to sign N'Zogbia.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hope he has to stay at wigan for his greed He not as good as he thinks he is good but not top class niether of us should try and get him just leave him where he is

Agree0 Disagree2

11 Jul 2011 09:40:58
There have been a lot of rumours flying about with regards to Nicklas Bendtner. Personally, I would not like to see him at St James park this season.

I think he would be the kind of player who would demand to have the team built around him and also probably want a highest earner clause put in his contract.

He is only in it for himself and although performing well aids the team that can only cause problems in the future with regards to him moving on or demanding more money, and thats only if he plays well which there is no guarantee he will and may cost 9-12m
