Im not a man in the know but I think we r going to buy some quality this window & my gut feeling is we r trying to get both the de jong brothers & maybe a central defender well we can all hope

Thank you Joker Inear our direction is dropping down the league whilst other teams will be going upwards Whilst the persons running this club are happy with 4 more wins Disgraceful

Im sorry but the need for two wingers for me is a massive need. sissoko/goufran crossing is horrible and the citeh game showed it. remy/cisse get little to know service in the box. and my god I love ben arfa and his ability to beat a player but his decission making is terrible. he has to go while we can still get 8-12 million for him

Alan Pardew has confirmed that Sylvain Marveaux is still in his plans and will be getting some playing time between now and february

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So why hasn't he been in his plans before now

Agree0 Disagree0

Because we prob selling somebody, and not replacing them, leaving more time for marv

So we play Man City at home and looking at some recent posts I am concerned that certain people think Tiote should just change his game over night and sit deep? Firstly, Tiote tried that in pre season and he was rubbish at it. Secondly, the season we finished 5th we pressed high, Tiote was allowed to close down people and force errors etc. The only way to get a result against City is to press there midfield and force errors. We must NOT sit back and let them have the ball!

Tiote is what you call an anchor man. hew will attempt to win the ball back in our own half, like he did in 11/12, which gave gutierrez the freedom to roam from his defensive mid position. Tiote was trying to win the ball back higher up the pitch last season, that's what got us caught so many times, especially with the lack of players getting back when the opposition counter.
